Is there a ban on those under the age of 18 to research and have an opinion on religious matters?

How I see things anyone underage, should be allowed to be any religion they want to and if they want do research on it, just let them do it and no one should worry about it if the text isn't telling them to go harm someone or harm themselves then, they should be allowed to be able to do what they want

Whoever said that to you is an idiot. Being an agnostic just means that you don't know, or are unsure. It doesn't take a PhD to admit that one doesn't know something or is unsure. In fact, I think that is the honest answer.

Ok so first off, your profile says you're 16, and everyone starts out agnostic.

Secondly, agnostic means "i don't know", it's not a refuting of religion like atheism is.

You can't, as a 16 year old, claim intellectual superiority when you think agnostic = atheist and you bash people under 18 for refuting you.

Thirdly, I called out bs on religion before I even started preschool. You act like it's some kind of grand acomplishment to think those stories are ridiculous.. >_>

If someone walked up to you and said an invisible sky wizard watches you all the time and will burn you for eternity if you touch yourself, you would call them stupid and move on.

If someone tells you god has to exist because the universe needed to be created to exist, then you just reply with "well then what created god?" and their argument just dies on the spot (i said that at like 4 years old).

Sure, as an adult you can get into really detailed stuff, like how omnipotence is a contradiction, or how eternity works, but it's not needed.

But to sit there and claim a person is either not qualified to say "I don't know", or not qualified to say "it's bs" when no proof was offered, and no valid argument to the contrary was given, just makes you sound ignorant.

Not at all, we call what he said "Ad hominem", a fallacy based around appealing to someone's person, instead of giving a proper counter argument.

I will give an example "It looks like this meal has a lot of calories in it." - "What do you know, fattie." It's not a valid argument, they are just trying to end the discussion by making you feel bad, because they don't have a proper argument.

When soneone gives you a fallacy as an argument, you call them an idiot and walk away, disregarding what they said.

This is not humanities greatest question. We've known the god idea is bullshit got probably thousand years now. If not longer. Yet people choose that delusion. There's not much to research there. Unless you're interested in the history of religion for some reason. But i suggest not to waste your lifetime with that fiction.
