Is bad to go to church just to meet people and not care about the religion?

I don't think it's "bad", per se. I'd think it's ultimately up to the church and the members. Some might be more welcoming of the idea than others.

And you'd also have to weigh in the fact that there will no doubt be those who will evangelize to you and try to bring you to conversion, as, if you ask me, they ought to.

Fellowship is the reason MOST people go. For the most part, regular people slow down in the church…and talk snd smile etc.. At least at mine but we are 3500-4000 a Sunday…

Nah. Maybe you will care about religion eventually if you go a lot. Either way, I feel that most church goers only care about the social aspects anyway.

I mean no one is going to force you but most people are there for the religious aspect and socialize because there are others with the same mindset and beliefs.

I think in time you'll find yourself out of place if you're not really there for worship.

Perhaps just meet your friends outside of church
