The false preachers who operate churches and synagogues do so for monetary gain and do not obey their own Bible.

Tithe and Offering are supposed to go to Widows and Orphans, not preachers and prophets and such, and it even says so repeatedly in the Law and Prophets. Much of the Torah is actually outlining the world's oldest Social Security System to provide for Widows and Orphans and sick people.

In the prophets God rebuked people who prophesied for money, and he told the "believers" to "Plead the cause of the Fatherless and Widow."

When Daniel rebuked Nebuchadnezzar, he did not tell nebuchadnezzar to "have faith in a coming redeemer" to be forgiven. He told Nebuchadnezzar to "repent through Charity" i. e. "Oh KIng nebuchadnezzar, you ought ot give away all your possessions and hope God forgives you..." The King initially did NOT repent, and the text says God cursed hima nd made him eat grass like an animal for 7 years before he finally repented.

The point is MONEY IS THE GOD OF "RELIGIOUS" PEOPLE WHO ATTEND CHURCHES AND TEMPLES. VERY OFTEN, THE TRUE PROPHETS IN THE BIBLE WERE NOT EVEN ALLOWED IN THE TEMPLE, BECAUSE THE FALSE PROPHETS AND FALSE PRIESTS WHO CONTROLLED THE GOVERNMENT TRIED TO MURDER ANYONE WHO PROPHESIED TRUTHFULLY. MUCH OF THE BOOKS OF EZEKIEL AND ISAIAH ARE A DIRECT LEGAL CHARGE AGAINST THE PRIESTS AND PROPHETS IN THE TEMPLE WHO WERE ABUSING THEIR OFFICE TO GAIN MONEY AND FALSELY PROPHESYING FOR MONEY AND WERE EVEN WORSHIPING IDOLS IN THE TEMPLE ITSELF, ALL THE WHILE CLAIMING TO BE TRUE PROPHETS.

AGAIN, ORGANIZED CHURCHES AND TEMPLES ARE ALMOST ALWAYS OPERATED BY FALSE PROPHETS AND FALSE PASTORS.

EVERYONE ON TELEVISION AND RADIO IS A PROVABLY FALSE PROPHET. tHEY ALWAYS PROMISE YOU A 'TEN FOLD' OR "HUNDRED FOLD" BLESSING FOR GIVING THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, BUT I BET A 100 FOLD BLESSING DID NOT HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON YOUR WAY WALKING OUT OF THE CHURCH.

THEY KNOW THEY ARE FALSE PROPHETS AND THEY DO IT ANYWAY.

    KENNETH COPELAND

    JOYCE MEYER

    JOEL OSTEEN

EVEN JIMMY SWAGGART (AND HE OPPOSES THE OTHER FALSE PROPHETS)

EVEN THE LOCAL GUY ON THE STREET CORNER IS A FALSE PROPHET WHO IS ALMOST ENTIRELY INTERESTED IN TAKING TEN OR TWNETY PERCENT OF YOUR INCOME FOR HIMSELF.

VERY FEW CHURCHES EVEN HAVE AN WIDOWS AND ORPHANS FUND. THEY GIVE ALL THE MONEY TO THE PASTOR AND HIS BEST FRIENDS INSTEAD.

I agree there are many churches whose "Christians" in the church aren't really focused on the reason we should be there, to study the word of God. The pure facts, not their personal opinion. I feel a lot of people find the churches and assume all Christians are like that, when this is definitely not the case.

The last time I went to a Church, I walked in and asked one of the co-Pastors where the "Widows and Orphans" box was.

He got pissed off at me for not putting my money in the "Tithe" box, but he did tell me where the Widows and Orphans box was. I put my money in the box and left, and I haven't been back to church since then.

That pastor was Jim Nations at Jimmy Swaggart's Family Worship Center. He's a conspiracy theorist and produces all sorts of conspiracy nonsense with no evidence whatsoever, for example he thinks Target is satanic because he claims the bullseye is a symbol of a Penis being worshiped by Target's owners.

I'll do my giving in person and in secret from now on, and to Hell with churches and temples.

Before anyone finds fault with me for rebuking false prophets openly, I have written them privately in emails must be hundreds and hundreds of times and they never stop doing what they do wrong, and if anything they have doubled down on their false doctrines and money-grubbing.

Now, Family Worship Center almost never does anything on their television or radio programs except TELETHONS to raise more money... to pay the bills for the... television and radio programs... they end up giving very little to widows and orphans like their Bible actually tells them to do.

One time I called in to "Francis and Friends" and proved from the Bible that Francis did not know what she was talking about that day, and she literally replied, "I don't care what scripture says... cut him OFF..." and banned me from calling in to the radio program.

God is my witness, she said on nation- wide radio, "I don't care what scripture says..." and cut me off, yet her "christian" followers are still deceived by her.

What was she teaching wrong that day?

She tried to claim that you could ask God for the Holy Spirit and end up being demon possessed.

At that time I was still a Christian, and I quoted Jesus to her telling her that if you ask for a good thing from your Heavenly Father he will not give you a rock, serpent or scorpion.

She told me she did not care what scripture I quoted and cut me off and banned me from calling back an daccused me of being a false teacher... all I did was literally read the words of Jesus to her regarding asking God for the Holy Spirit. I did not even give my own opinion.

The fact some Christians don't even realize this is happening is crazy. It just goes to show that even if your preacher says it, it may not be true. We must let the holy spirit reveal to us the true meaning of the scripture. I do think though it is important to find a good church, with a good truth speaking preacher. Having fellowship with other true Christians are important too.

Did you know that the story of Jesus forgiving the adulteress is not at all true and was NEVER part of any of the New Testament writings until at least 400 years after the fact?

DID YOU KNOW, THAT ELSEWHRE IN THE OLDEST SURVIVING MANUSCRIPTS JESUS SPECIFICALLY STATED THATHE DID NOT COME TO DESTROY THE LAW AND THAT THE LAW WOULD LAST UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASSED AWAY?

DID YOU KNOW PAUL FALSELY PROPHESIED AND CLAIMED THE DEATH AND ALLEGED RESURRECTION OF JESUS MEANT THE LAW AND PROPHETS AND THE ORIGINAL COVENANT WERE DONE AWAY WITH?

DID YOU KNOW GENESIS CHAPTERS 8 AND 9 SAYS THE COVENANT WITH NOAH IS AN "EVERLASTING COVENANT TO PERPETUAL GENERATIONS" AND EXODUS SAYS THE COVENANT WITH MOSES WILL "NEVER BE AMENDED"?

DID YOU KNOW THAT MEANS GOD IS FREE TO MAKE A NEW COVENANT, IT JUST CANNOT DO AWAY WITH NOAH OR MOSES' COVENANTS AND CANNOT AMEND NOAH OR MOSES' COVENANTS, BECAUSE GOD SAID THOSE COVENANTS WERE EVERLASTING AND "TO PERPETUAL GENERATIONS".

THEREFORE PAULS CLAIM THAT HIS "NEW COVENANT" DID AWAY WITH THE LAW AND THE ORIGINAL COVENANT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE.

"THINK NOT THAT I AM COME TO DESTROY THE LAW... I AM NOT COME TO DESTROY THE LAW, BUT TO FULFIL THE LAW..."

"TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE SHALL IN ANYWISE PASS AWAY FROM THE LAW UNTIL ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN FULFILLED."

      GUESS WHAT?

EVERYBODY ON EARTH BETTER GET ON THEIR FACE BEFORE A HOLY, HOLY, HOLY GOD AND FIND SOME MANNER OF REPENTANCE, BECAUSE 95% OF YOU PEOPLE WHO CALL YOURSELVES CHRISTIANS ARE SELF-PROFESSED ADULTERERS AND ADULTERESSES AND WORSE THINGS, AND YOU LOVE TO HAVE IT THAT WAY AND YOU DON'T EVEN BLINK AN EYE ABOUT SINNING AGAINST GOD IN THE WORST MANNER POSSIBLE.

"THE PROPHETS PROPHESY FALSELY FOR REWARD AND THE PRIESTS BEAR RULE BY THEIR MEANS AND MY PEOPLE LOVE TO HAVE IT SO..."

YOU LOVE TO BE TOLD BY FALSE TEACHERS THAT IT'S OKAY TO BE AN ADULTERER OR AN LGBTQ, BUT GUESS WHAT? THE LAW OF GOD SAYS IT IS NOT OKAY, AND IF WE DON'T OR CAN'T PUNISH THE BLATANT SINNERS, GOD HIMSELF IS GOING TO DO IT ONE DAY SOON.

YOU CAN HATE ME FOR SAYING SO, BUT READ THE LAW AND PROPHETS IN THE BIBLE. THERE IS NO SACRIFICE FOR ADULTERERS OR LGBTQS.

THE LAW, WHICH JESUS SAID HE DID NOT DO AWAY WITH, STATES THAT MOST OF THE SACRIFICES ARE FOR "SINS OF IGNORANCE", NOT WILLFUL SIN.

WILLFUL SIN IS NOT FORGIVEN BY SACRIFICES. WILLFUL SIN WILL SEND YOU TO HELL FOREVER.

      "OBEDIENCE IS GREATER THAN SACRIFICE".

in ISAIAH, THE PROPHET SPEAKING FOR GOD SAID THAT GOD HATES YOUR FEAST DAYS AND SOLEMN ASSEMBLIES AND VAIN OBLATIONS AND EVEN HATES YOUR SACRIFICES. HE SAID TO OBEY HIM AND "PLEAD THE CAUSE OF THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOW". HE DIDN'T SAY PAY TITHE AND OFFERING TO THE RICHEST PREACHER ON TELEVISION.

HE TOLD YOU TO STONE THE FALSE PROPHETS AND DESTROY THEIR GRAVES, BY THE WAY AND EVEN TOLD YOU TO GRIND THEIR BONES TO POWDER.

YOU PEOPLE BELIEVE ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

Why would I want to go to church?
    1. If God is omniscient and omnipotent, then God can hear my prayers from the comfort of my home.
    2. At church, they always beg for cash; cash I need at times.
    3. I am a non-practicing Catholic and the mass experience is bothersome outside of the preaching itself.
    4. I don't like getting up that early on a Sunday.
    5. I don't like having to get dressed up that early.
    6. I don't like being around people; especially conservatives who happen to be the kind of people who go to church - especially where I live in a rural Missouri (a red state).
    7. I can always stream a service.

I get my "churchin' up" by streaming and listening to WJMJ (*) 88.9 MHz FM in Hartford, Connecticut and is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Hartford. It is the first Catholic radio station in the United States operated by an archdiocese.

Because I do not see the WHY of it all. My trainer says that I have to burst forward when a kick is coming, because then I can grab that kick, sweep the remaining leg and take the opponent down to the ground. I see the sense of it, even though it's something that you wouldn't normally do, because you usually go away from danger, not towards it.

That is what is missing for me, the sense part. What would make me change my mind. I see something I can gain, going there.

I left church cause I had drama with guys - either guys I rejected or guys who rejected me or both. I don't go to church for romantic reasons so once romantic ideas are introduced to the church relationship, I usually leave the church.

    I sometimes do, but lately I haven't - technically.

I moved fairly far away from my usual church. Several hours on a bad dangerous stressful drive. I also had a bad accident lately that makes it hard to get up, and hard to drive, though I just started again. I'm not huge on the churches around me, so I try to stream the service for my old church.

If I happen to go back to the town I used to live for a weekend to take care of some stuff, I will try to make it to church, but it also seems like many friends are "too busy" to do anything past a quick hello and goodbye. I'm social, so it's frustrating to never do anything after church except drive right back... so rather than drive there and back (6 hours on the road) for an hour service, it's often just easier to try to stream the service and not waste my gas, and risk getting sick... or have to spend $150-300 on a hotel room so I can get things done and not drive in a dangerous area in one day. Like I have a bunch of things to do, but can't do anything on a Sunday (everyone's closed), so I have to make a full weekend of it.

For bible study, I'm now often babysitting my nephews and nieces, and it's hard to read and study for a bible study during the week, then on the night of, get interrupted or have to squash a fight, just for a crummy quality virtual study where the sound fails or picture fails... or reschedule a meeting with someone - so I'm not fully into it.

I understand completely. Just know going to church doesn't make you a christian. Small things like reading 5 minutes in your Bible each day can help. God hasn't forgotten about you, so don't forget about him. You got this❤️

Because all religions are just make-believe. To change my mind, someone would have to make a testable claim about some future event that depends on some religious claim. That will never happen. The difference between science and religion is that science works. Science tells me that if I go to a particular place on a particular day, a total eclipse of the sun will begin at a particular time to the second. What does religion tell me? "The Lord moves in mysterious ways". To me, that means "Shit happens". And what do religious leaders always ask for? Money. If "God will provide", why do they need money at all?

I'm a bible-believing Christian but I stopped going because my church started doing the thing where they tell everyone to stand up and greet those around you. I struggle with social anxiety and that made me dread going. Also, perfume and cologne give me a strong headache and even if I try to sit away from people, someone will come in at the last minute reeking of it and sit near me.

I've contacted several churches in my area and they all do that greeting thing.

I don't believe in a god. Evidence of a god and evidence showing it's a god worth worshipping which would take a lot of good reasons and fixing our world given how shitty this world is towards those with less power

I mean absolutely no offense by this, but do you not think that maybe God lets bad things happen to show us how much we need Him? God created the world perfect, and we were the ones that messed it up. The world kept getting more and more messed up. It still is. But God sent Jesus to give us hope. Yes this world os horrible and terrible. But Christians, Christ followers, have hope because we know that our God is here for us, and we will meet him in heaven when we die. Without that hope, we are all alone in out struggle and we end up going to hell, the place of eternal torment. This world is terrible to point us to God and to make us think about where we are going when we leave this earth. Just saying 😊

My dear a father doesn't let his children get raped and sold into slavery to teach a lesson or at least not a good father and with the power your god in particular is supposed to have their is no excuse if an all powerful creature wants to show how bad a world can get just show us a quick simulation of the world then continue to run the world to insure the people are being treated fairly like how Superman would have been in injustice if he didn't go on tyrian murder spree if u haven't read that comic (I highly suggest it if that's your thing oh that and dceased). As for that part about god being there for Christians my dear do you think Christians have this bad luck shield that reflects anything bad from happening to you guys come on plenty of followers have been beaten, abused, sold as slaves and raped by their very pastors that God isn't exactly their for you or anyone your on your own. Also if your god allows a hell to exist then I want no part in worshipping that sick minded individual unless hell is like final "hell" in the fantastic tv show The Good Place i. e a rehabilitation center if it's not that and a place of useless torture like how u described then what is the point of it besides to get a sadistic persons rocks off your not helping the bad people learn a lesson it just beats people into submission like a bad boyfriend or what amber heard wanted to do and even then what submission as their is no goal just causing pain after endless pain that is not a good idea is my main point of this

Thank you for responding so kindly to me. A lot of people think that because you have God on your side nothing bad will ever happen to you. But Literally all of Jesus' 12 disciples were martyrs. The Bible says in one of Paul's books I think that if you follow Christ things will be bad for you. I most certainly can relate with feeling the injustice in the world. It sucks and it's infuriating what happens. But God is a just God. He has a plan, spelled out in Revelation, to avenge his followers. He is going to set everything to rights and all the people responsible for those injustices and wrongs will go to hell. The reason there is hell is for the sake of justice. The purpose of hell is to punish those people for their sins. If there was no hell, people would be getting off scot free with no remorse or conviction. And that is where we have to trust God to be the good father that He claims to be, and the he has proven himself to be throughout the Bible.
Also, side note, Hell wasn't originally created for humanity I don't think. It was originally made for Lucifer and all the angels that rebelled in the very beginning.
Once again thank you for even thinking about this instead of just brushing it off :)

Anytime, fair point with saying even bad things will happen to Christians too but that doesn't excuse the fact bad things are happening in my eyes if I had a gun and saw a child was being beaten with a bat I'm not gonna just sit back and hope everything works out like in this plan I'm going 2 aim that weapon and fire to stop the suffering unlike your whom can fire lightning down at the abusers of the world but chooses not to because of some plan if I made a plan today that involves children being raped, genocides of multiple groups of people, slavery that still happens to this day and every other type of horrific thing that's happened through out history no one would go along with it while I sit back people would not look to kindly upon me a god doesn't need to hold humanities hand every step of the way if you are hiking like I was and pop your ankle a god shouldn't just fix that as we can probably agree some light suffering is needed to value what you have but back in the day when Vikings raided a town women would cut off parts of themselves to make them look unattractive so the Vikings wouldn't "take" them not doing anything in that instance is nothing short of unforgivable and this idea of hell once again accomplishes nothing sure do some people deserve a year or 2 of endless burning absolutely but true power isn't the ability to harm or kill others it's the ability to change minds and make them better an intelligent design for hell would have been people serving their time without resorting to American prisons type of torturer and learning what they did wrong so instead of having a soul burning forever only knowing that what they did was wrong you could have a productive soul that knows why what they did was wrong and with all that guilt could be used to make a very good person instead of a waisted soul that helps no one.

Okay so with the first half of that: I totally agree with you in that we can't just sit back and be like "Oh, Jesus has it handled" No. Part of a Christian's job is to change our part of the world by introducing people to God's love. You can see that with Amy Carmicheal - she went to India and started an orphanage and helped change a lot of children's lives. God calls his followers to act in his name and change things. We're not gonna fix everything by a long long shot, but a Christian's goal is to serve God by changing introducing as many people to him as we can and therefore changing their lives. There is, of course, the chance that people will reject the introduction. that's their choice, and I can't make that for them. Does that make sense? It felt really hodgepodge

As for the Hell discussion, why do you think God hasn't enacted his Revelation plan yet? God truly wants as many people as possible to be saved, but He acknowledges that many will absolutely run the other way. The goal, once again, of a Christian is to spread the good news of the gospel to all the corners of the world, thereby hopefully minimizing the people that are caught unaware. Every single human who has ever lived, aside from Jesus, has sinned, and we all deserve hell because the penalty for sin (a transgression of the law) is death (Romans 6:23). And then, when we die, there are two options: heaven or hell. We cannot go to heaven, because only holiness and perfection can be in heaven, so we go to hell. But God, having created us, loves us, and he didn't want to see all of humanity suffer in hell, which is eternal by the way, so he made a way for humans to go to heaven: Jesus

God doesn't maliciously want people to go to hell to pay for their heinous crimes, he just has to have justice. That's honestly the beauty of the Gospel: it's fair and unfair. God sent his perfect and sinless son to pay the price for every single human's (mine and yours) sin, which only he could do because he's the only perfect being, and paid the death penalty. Now we don't have to go to hell. If things were exactly just and everyone what they deserved, we would all be going to hell. But since God showed us grace, we can go to heaven. Which, to your earlier point, proves his goodness. He continues to show his goodness through our lives. We are blessed in ways we don't even know. Here's a story, I think a year and a half ago my aunt passed away from COVID. Long long story, I don't even want to get into COVID, but she could've lived, but poor care and decision making on the hospital's part made it so that she died. That is an injustice. It was and is wrong. It hurt my family. And God made something good out of it. My uncle ended up getting saved at her funeral. He made the decision to accept God's free pass into heaven and was saved from hell. Because my aunt died. The bible says that God works things together for good for those who love him. My mom explained that verse to me this way: when you're making a cake, there are ingredients that taste good. Sugar, milk, whatever. And there are ingredients that taste horrid. Flour (from experience, no bueno), baking soda. But it makes a wonderful cake. There are going to be good things and bad things in every person's life. But for the people who love God, it will work out for the good: we're going to heaven. For those that don't, it won't. they're going to hell.
Okay, now that I've surely confused the snot out of you I'm going to shut up LoL :)

I don't go to church because I'm not religious. I don't think there's anything that would change my mind.

I don't go to church because I don't need someone else to read the Bible and connect with God

Going to church can help as you get support and can worship God with others. Church as you know is a physical building where sinners go

Can’t judge a group only by one example. The church I attend has lgbtq members and we focus on the agenda Jesus pushes.

Yea but the Bible also mentions churches twisting the word, I prefer having my personal connection with go and that's all, at the end of times there won't be churches and trusting the guidance of God and the Bible is all we will have, we gotta start preparing that it seems like the time is getting closer if it's not right around the corner already

God bless you. My grandpa was a minister and reading his research I see how the ‘end times’ actually already occurred many years ago so I’m not freaked

I respect that. I can tell you are strong in God's word. If you are so worried about what the church believes, I might try watching some of the YouTube videos of some churches. Do some research on what denomination would agree with and go from there. My personal opinion would be that it is still important to your fellowship with God to spend time with fellow believers. I believe this is one of the many reasons God gave Adam, Eve.

I'm sure company is a reason, the Bible speaks about the importance of a woman is to a man, it compares the woman to the neck and the guy as the head, the woman is there to support the man and help him make good decisions while the man is the head and makes the decisions in life and with family and stuff, there's also the reason of reproduction, that's the whole purpose of sex, to bring more people into the world, that's why Christianity is against the whole lgbtq agenda because it's not normal, it's messing with the balance of how everything is suppose to be, but eve does have many reasons, and Barry we haven't seen anything yet the end time prophecies are just recently being fulfilled or at least they are more noticeable now, you can see how bad things are getting, the schools are pushing for Satanism being allowed in schools while God is being pushed out, the euphrates prophecy has already come true, the world is deceived by so much worldly stuff, due to all the recent natural disasters and all the casualties you can see God's patience is slipping, all the mocking, the aggression towards Christians, the publication of Satan, all the broad daylight celebrations and rituals for Satan, the normalization of Satan, some brands even tried pushing for pedophilia, I know you've noticed the high raises on the cravings for the word of God recently, people like celebrities are waking up, the countries trying to change our currency to digital, Jeff bezos created the technology to pay with your palm, elon muck created a brain chip which a few years from now it will most likely be the technology they will use for the mark of the beast, the chip in the head and chip in the palm, sounds pretty accurate to me, Israel already have plans to build the third temple where the anti christ will sit at, seems like the times are near to me no lie.

What religion have you had a poor experience with? Sorry I just want the full picture before I jump to and conclusions. I have also had poor experiences with 'religions', but once I found out that I can have a relationship with God and not just be a participant in some religious club, I found it changed, y perspective quite a bit. I would like to hear your story

I'm sorry to hear that you think that. I personally believe that there is greater joy and hope found in Jesus than we could ever find in the world. Does it not sound realistic or something? and if you ever want me to stop probing you, just holler because I don't want to be too forceful or anything :)

I am happily a Jesus freak, yes. I may sound ridiculous, but that's only to people who refuse to believe the truth.
If that's the way you feel, I won't waste my breath. I hope you have a good day. :)

I am kinda in the same boat. A go to a very strict christian school and constantly see people turned away because they don't fit the part. I just wish those people would see not all Christians are like that.

I agree with you. I understand judgement as we learn about it in church school and the Bible. But tbh I’m frustrated when Christian’s are too judgmental and critical of nonbelievers. Do you think we can help them see the benefits of finding God and having a purpose in life?

I think the only way to is to show they the difference God makes in our life. You might be the only Bible they will ever read, the only experience of Christianity, so we got to make it count.
