Trending & News Yes and most certainly read it with them. I’ve seen people’s eyes blow up from reading the Bible. I’ve seen Buddhist realize the Buddha’s underpinning for Morality are in 10 Commandments and worked out through Jesus in the New Testament.
-This is how God speaks…”whispers into your ear”. There’s nothing telepathic or exceptional about it.
-I’m here and willing if you exist and are willing to reveal Yourself to me. And read like you mean constituently for a month with an open heart.
-Lord’s Prayer recited back aloud from scripture before starting to read, everyday.
Of course. Granted, I'm a Christian, but I'd say the same for any other holy book; I'd WANT my kids exposed to lots of different ideas, so they'd be capable of thinking about and examining them.
Your religious beliefs should be the ones you choose, not those you had forced on you- or away from you.
Sure. Im a pagan but if i had kids id let them look into whatever spirituality calls out to them.
Id be ok if they wanted to read it, but I won’t be telling them they should

Well when you say kids? do you mean they is 5 or something then no because he wouldn't understand it anyway nor would I want him to read it because the bible is full of stuff a 5 year old don't need to know about.
And if your talking when there teen well at that point it's not really my job to stop them from reading something if they want.
sure. i'm an atheist but i don't censor shit for my kids unless it's porn or graphic violence. i don't think that a religious book can do harm top them. because i'm rising a critical thinking human, not some indoctrinated sheep. and if they find joy in following that religion, then so be it. it's their life. if it makes them happy, good for them.
Sure, no problem with my kids reading the bible. Maybe they should also read the Quran, Book of Mormon, and other religious texts too, so that they can understand what religion really is and they can choose to worship one or not.
Yes. Why wouldn't or shouldn't I be? The Early Church Fathers compiled and defined it and many saintly commentaries and papal encyclicals have been written about it. So yes.
Sure, have fun but i will tell them in advance they should not try to rationalize anything in it. Just enjoy the stories.
Sure if they wanted to. I'd never force them to or try to push religion on them since that should be there choice
im a muslim but i want my kid to learn about other religions too
Surely! They will read and study it as I do myself x
They wouldn't have much opportunity for it, but as long as they read it as the fairytales it is.
If I could have kids I would let them read the bible.
If you aren’t then you TWEAKIN TWEAKIN AND TWIPPIN TWIPPIN
I think there's better things they can do with their time
