Lust means sexual desire.
I’m a straight woman and I see nothing sexual about hair.
I really like the abayas and stuff and think they look super feminine and classy/regal. I started wearing them with half head covered and noticed a significant difference. Men respect me so much. They call me sister, they lower they gaze when they speak to me, they talk to me like I am an angel. I think just a headscarf makes no difference but when you actually wear a loose flowy garment then men really really respect you a lot more. They’re more likely to view you as marriageable and I find it much more beautiful than getting attention for being beautiful and having a hot body while being uncovered - not that I ever dressed immodest. I was always a modest dresser but this has completely transformed people’s behaviour towards me. I do get the odd comments from Europeans - not even British White people who say stupid things. But this is my body, my life. I want to cover myself up because I believe my beauty is for my husband only and it saved me from becoming a prisoner to society which can eat up a woman’s brains.
You are completely 100% brainwashed. Please wake up and use your brain you are a slave and you are being oppressed by muslim men
@vald9inches i find it weird that when a woman chooses to wear a bikini she is free but when the same woman herself chooses to wear an abaya she becomes brainwashed and oppressed? I come from a muslim majority country where most woman dont wear a headscarf, but the ones that do, wear it because they themselves wish to; so kindly keep an open mind and allow women to wear a headscarf without judging them.
Yes when Islam advocates for the death of non muslims and gays and oppression of women you don't really have a choice do you? 🤦🤦🤦
@Sarahr123 I'm happy for you to be content in the way you dress. I always have respect for women dressing modestly out of free will. To me, there is nothing more beautiful and of higher value than a woman who knows her value is far more than her sexuality, and is therefore keen on not allowing herself to be objectified as such... Regardless of her religion or whether she wears a headscarf or not. Men like Vald9inches want you to continue wear revealing clothes for their own perversion. Not because they actually want to "liberate" you from the "oppressive religion" as they belief it to be.
@Sarahr123 oh please dont give me that your life was never of any danger if you didn't want to wear short skirts. There is no religion that says you have to wear short skirts so what oppression are you referring to? and let me get this straight now that you were a hijab you feel free? are you fucking kidding me? a piece of clothing that is not meant for comfort or fashion but instead meant to hide your face and hair so you dont get raped is liberating for you?
@vald9inches There is no requirement to hide your face, only the hair. You are meant to dress in modest loose garments and that is why I wear an abaya. I can still dress how I want and buy nice abayas and look nice but I don’t have to worry about anyone looking at me with bad gaze. I would rather have respect than attention.
@Sarahr123 what country are you from?
@TruthBringer i think you are right lol. No point wasting even a second on him, some people not worth it.
@vald9inches Why you are so opposed to the idea that she covers up. That's her decision. Not Yours. Plus your intention you piece of shit is very clear. You don't care about women. Or their rights. You want them not cover up. To Show off their body For your own perversion. . you hypocrite.
@BlackD1ckk95 Who the fuck are you? i dont even know you so what evidence do you have to say that i "You don't care about women. Or their rights. You want them not cover up. To Show off their body For your own perversion"? For all i know you are probably that loser @"Truth"Bringer under a fake account in some kind of pathetic attempt of an attack on me lmfao 😂
@vald9inches bold of you to assume I'm using a fake account. Goes to show how much cope you need in your life whenver someone disagrees with your views lmfao
@"Truth"Bringer and here you are responding before the other guy responded shortly after mentioning you not suspicious at all! Lmfao 😂
@vald9inches Not sure where that logic lies. I'm simply active on this website at this given time. Jokes on you, this has always been my one and only account. I don't even need to another one to rip you a new one, because others are clearly doing it to you. Feel free to report me as well as that "duplicate" account for investigation. And more importantly, make sure you stack up on that copium.
@vald9inches She Has the Freedom Of Choice to cover her body. In the same way that other women chose not to cover their body. You applaud the women that don't cover up. And oppose the ones that do..
For what?
she choose that path and took on that decision herself no one imposed it on her.. And you must respect that. . your argument here is weak. . You are a biased retarded moron who only sees his side of the equation. You can shove the lies and the bullshit up your ass. You are the utter complete loser.
@BlackD1ckk95 yea ok buddy whatever helps you sleep at night you pedophile apologist
@"Truth"Bringer it's their choice to wear thongs and yoga pants right? Don't be a fucking hypocrite now lmfao 😂🤣🤣🤣
@Vlad1inch Funny you talk about obsession, yet you came back days later just to reply to me again. They are most definitely free to wear what they want. Doesn't mean that people won't point out an inconsistency in wearing two different types of clothings that contradict each other. But do what you do best and twist everything to please your xenophobia ;)
@hypocritebringer Who are you to say it's contradictory? Do you decide the purpose of the hijab or the girl? 😉
@vald9inches she is free to wear whatever she wants in front of her family men and females. I have only seen benefit in covering up. It saves you from the competition that is driving people to the brink of suicide. Despite having a good body and conventionally pretty face I still feel like shit some days but when I am covered from head to toe it takes off the pressure to compete. I don’t get nasty attention, Eve teasing or catcalling from random men on the street, I don’t get approached and harassed for my number on the streets. Instead I get respect. Men call me sister and lower their gazes when they speak to me and I love that. I would have that over nasty attention from crude thirsty men anyday.
@Vlad1inch That's for no one to decide here to decide. Rules and common sense are already set. A woman wo wears a hijab and yogapants with a thong print is like a nun walking around in a bikini while wearing her veil. Both scenarios are highly contradicting. The fact I have to point out this basic logic that you disindeniously choose to dismiss, goes to show you're a waste of time to argue with like any other bigot. You're so obsessed with Islam I'm starting to think you're thinking about converting. I think they would call you something like Abu Vlady al Muslim. I'm going to call you that from now on 😂
@Sarahr123 This guy clearly wants to become a Muslim considering how obsessed he is with Islam, as that's clearly the main thing revolving in his life next to objectifying women. Why don't you guys help him convert already? 😂
@Sarahr123 and what about societies respect? mohammad said that a women's brain is worth only half of a man's brain lol you are also can't own property and not allowed to drive or travel alone lol also if you get raped you have to marry the man that raped you SO MUCH RESPECT LMFAO 😂😂😂 and just wait until you get married and then all that fake "respect" will go out the window your husband can hit you and abuse you and cheat on you by marrying another women and you can never divorce him and everyone will call you a slut if you run away and stone you to death or behead you because you are a slut makes PERFECT SENSE! 😂😂😂
@hypocritebringer oh there it is ladies and gentlemen! A confession and admission that the hijab IS NOT BY CHOICE! THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES!!! LMFAO 😂😂😂 Wow talk about shooting yourself in the foot! 😂
@AbuVladyAlMuslim Wow, one way to once again prove that all you can do is twist people's words and deliberately misunderstand their message. At this point, it is obvious that you're desperate to have the last say. Something you have to give a kid the lollipop to stop it from screetching. So I'll gladly give you the last word, not that I will bother read it. Such a happy life you must be living with so much hatred in your heart towards people who do not even know of your existence. Thanks for once again validating my words 😂.
@apostatebringer sorry hypocrite you can't have it both ways it's either a personal choice or a rule enforced so you go ahead and think whatever you want whatever helps you sleep at night in the end you helped prove my point in front of the world 😉
Oh and one last thing welak khawa ya ibin el sharmoota! Lol 😂 😉
@vald9inches then why would you say anime=haram?
the original purpose of hijab is to differentiate the free Muslim women from the slave women. Quran 33:59:
O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments (Arabic: Jilbab); this will be more proper, so that they may be recognized (as free Women) and not annoyed/molested.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir:
... (In this verse, Allah ordered the free women) to draw their Jilbabs over their bodies, so that they will be distinct in their appearance from the women of the Jahiliyyah and from slave women...
And As-Suddi said about the revelation of this verse 33:59 that the mischief-mongers among the people of Madīnah would come out on the streets at dusk and get after the women. The houses of the people of Madīnah [in those days] were very small in size and at nightfall the women would go out on these streets [making their way to the fields] to relieve themselves. These evil people would tease and molest these women. While if they saw a woman who would be wearing a Jilbab (cloak/outer garment), they would say she is a free woman [and not a slave] and would abstain [from molesting her] and if they saw a woman who would not be wearing a cloak, they would molest her by saying that she is a slave woman.
And Mujahid said that those women would wear cloaks [in the way prescribed by the Qur'ān] so that it be known that they are free women and the mischief-mongers would not then harm or molest them.
But they are infact not free are they? Lol
“Free” as in “not a slave”
That's supposedly the purpose of the hijab but I am saying it used for the exact opposite of that purpose. If anything it lets other muslim know that she is a muslim slave
@Sarahr123 "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Benjamin Franklin
I believe it does, but only if it is done properly. And by 'done properly' I mean that the rest of the outfit isn't contradicting to the purpose of the hijab. I've seen women wearing a hijab with yogapants and even a print of their thong. Others even had their cleavage out, no kidding. That defeats the entire purpose of the hijab. While at the same time I've seen women wearing hijab who dress modestly, not showing too much 'curve'. There is a major difference between both groups.
I think this video is quite interesting:
@Redhead999 Dunno, I'm not the one who made it. It isn't only black men doing it.
@Redhead999 Not sure why this is relevant to the point being made.
@Redhead999 And where is your proof that this video has racist intentions? It's not their fault that the men who harrassed her happen to be black. In fact, NYC happens to have A LOT of black people. So coming across them is inevitable. And honestly, if it were white people mostly, would you still consider it to be racist? Stop trying to find offense and pulling the race card in places that are not meant for them. If you have nothing productive (or proof to your racism accusation) to bring to this comment section, then I suggest you do not bother me.
@Redhead999 Go be woke elsewhere
probably, or some. There's "does it work" and do they believe it works.
Their relatives the Orthodox Jewish have some similar concerns around hair. Fascinating! true in china as well... hair up or down has meaning, but that seems different purpose.
I wonder if within the culture if the statistics are same as general population.
Yes, obscuring view of body certainly helps since seeing is a trigger for desire. I believe the whole point of covering her up is "honor"... protecting the mans sense of honor in that culture.

Why should a woman have to cover herself from head to toe just to prevent herself from getting raped? Why shouldn't men learn to curb their own sexual impulses rather than to rape every woman they find attractive?
Hijab doesn't work. Take a look at countries in middle east , rape is common and fairly an everyday thing. Rape cases there are significantly higher than in america. It all has to so with the attitudes of men towards women. Hijab means nothing and does nothing. Men who are in favor of nijab tend to be sexist and patriarchal
Thank you!! So many people are blind and do not see how Islam oppresses women and have a lot of rape in their countries
I think you'd have to be a muslimist to fully understand their stuff and behavior. Normal people can't grasp what they are doing running around dressed up like Halloween in 97 degrees. But hey, whatever they want right? I personally think they should do it in their own country thou. I don't under why they are spilling into every country on the planet to explain their stuff to us normal people. I been told that they wear this stuff cuz their invisible boss in the clouds (alla or muhamed or whatnot) get offended if he sees hair. I don't know...
For some Muslim women wearing their hijab is a way to show devotion to their god.
Muslim women’s clothing isn’t entirely about adherence to faith. It has been used in the past – and present – as an assertion of identity.
Under colonial rule, Muslim women were encouraged to remove their veils to conform to European standards. As demands for independence from colonial rule grew, the veil became a symbol of national identity and opposition to the west.
Sure the hijab can be oppressive in cases where the women have no choice in whether they want to wear it or not but if a woman chooses to wear a hijab out of her own will. Who tf are you to judge or make assumptions about why she wears it or how she wears it. That is their decision
👌 .
The hijab is not voluntary just like being muslim is not voluntary because as soon as you leave Islam the punishment is death. So please don't say the hijab is voluntary when you know it's not
@valid9inches it’s embarrassing you didn’t read the entirety of what I said and just decided to get angry and comment. I already addressed this..
@caitycat21i did read the entirety of what you said but i wanted to be clear that it is not a choice. May i ask if you have any siblings or dear friends you care about?
You don’t sound unintelligent if you think there are absolute zero Muslim women that are Muslim because they want to..
That’s such an insane argument. Do you even hear yourself? I could say the same thing about literally every religion - yet people only make this argument for Muslims even though Christian spread their religion through a history of forced assimilation and multiple genocides
@caitycat21what argument are you talking about? all i asked if you any siblings or close friends that you care for? I have a feeling you mistakenly responded here instead on another person's comment
You're confused.
The word "hijab" has many different meanings, only one of which is "scarf". It also means "modesty".
Thus "dressing modesty" means to be "in hijab" in some dialects.
You're also not the brightest, if you think dressing provocatively or immodestly doesn't count against you in a court of law. Or that it matter what you as a "straight" anything think on the matter. It's about social norms in groups and communities.
You wouldn't bitch about someone wearing a bikini, why bitch about someone in hijab or burkha, if not to expose your own bias and insecurities?
The picture you have isn't hijab. It's just girls wearing headscarves. Also, it isn't just about clothing. It's an entire manner of comporting oneself. Everything and anything thing about a woman is enticing and hairnis probably one of the most sexual things on a woman. Itnisnso a symbol for men who wish tonsleep with that woman that sje is only available for relations within a marriage. The largest symbol ofnproper hijab, not this fashion show you have up, is that shebisnknown as a woman who doesn't partake in polytheism and idolatry.
I wear the niqab as well as the large clothing that hides my whole shape. All that is apprarent are my hands and my eyes showing and I get PLENTY of sexual offers.
As to it working yes it does. I was Christian before and didn't wear hijab obviously. Even though men do show interest I don't get cat called. I am treated like a queen when I gonoutsode apart from xenophobic bigots who loke to yell from their cars lkke the tough brave men they are. It's also, a protection for the woman who wishes to control her own desire. It helps her as well to refrain from illicit relationships with males who are not close family memebers. Yes, Islaam recognizes women's sexual desire.
Even though I do get hit on it's subtle and I am the one who sets thenpace outnof respect. And because there isn't any of my body showing men who Indo interact with regularly out of some necessity like who I am as a person so it usually tends to be an emotional attraction moreso than a physical one. It's never for a one-night stand. It's always for a relationship. But I don't do relationships only marriage and that is a very high level of commitment so I am single.
The hijab is a tool of oppression and it is not by choice. Just like being muslim is not a choice because the punishment of leaving Islam is death
It doesn't work to avert the men's lust. Those men will sexualize anything, even kids. It's ironic that families won't tell their boy to avert his gaze but tell the daughter to cover her hair because a "modest" woman does so. I mean some are forced to wear it, some in more freer countries wear it by choice. But does it work to curb the male sexual desire? Probably not. It works in the sense that the women are fulfilling their duties to God by being modest. I don't know what I'm saying I'm so tired rn
Oppressing women is a huge part of Islam just fyi
@vald9inches really? Read up on the role of women in islamic history before talking. The prophet muhammad's first wife was a businesswoman, he worked for her, and she is the one who sent him the proposal of marriage. Khadija was also the first muslim and his biggest emotional support in the first few years of islam. Kindly research instead of following heresay or thinking that the 2% extremists are an accurate representation of an entire religion.
@MM1480 The answer is 2 women to equal the testimony of 1 man that give you just a little hint of how women are looked at and treated in islam lol
No. Actually Hijab is said to protect you from evil. I'm Muslim so I know it. I don't believe it works. There are many good people who don't wear hijab yet there are terrorists who do. Hijab can't protect you from evil. It is just a piece of clothing. For women it's Hijab and for Men it's a cap.
Muslim men also use hijab to oppress women. Rape is big problem in Islamic countries as well
@vald9inches Yes that's true. Even if it is for preventing lustful thoughts (it's one of the reason but not the major one) then it doesn't works at all.
@apulu_imback i lived in a islamic country and i have seen the fear in women's eyes i have seen how they are treated like 2nd class citizens how they cannot own anything. It really makes me sad to see people defending islam. I have nothing against muslims some of my best friends are muslim but the religion islam is a very hateful and oppressive religion and it really brainwashes its people.
@vald9inches yes it is. Even I'm not appealed to my own religion as it is an extremely men dominated religion. I'm planning to change to Buddhism in future when I'm adult.
@apulu_imback excellent choice! My beliefs are a mix of Buddhism and Taoism and Confucianism.
i read this post on reddit recently about an ex muslim i feel so bad for them...
www.reddit.com/.../
@vald9inches Thank god my parents aren't like that. Instead they are not too religious too. My maternal grandparents are. My grandma and mom argued a lot for that. I'm also tired from people saying me things like "Grow your hair" "stop dressing like a tomboy and dress up complete". I already dress modest enough. Do they expect me to cover myself with blanket and roam around? Like seriously? It's my life and I will live it my way.
@apulu_imback i hate the religious clothes police with a passion... We were all born naked and if you do believe in god then you should blame him for creating you naked lol clothes are only meant for comfort and fashion nothing else. So tell me do you think the hijab or any other islamic clothing for women is a choice if they live with their islamic parents or live in a islamic country?
@vald9inches It's not a choice. It's a must for her.
with all the hot and sexy makeup they wear? Yeah no, doesn't work on me. I've had desires to get BJs from them many times in the past. I have a little thing for wanting to get underneath those clothes. I'm very sexually turned on my makeup.

Are you Muslim?
@LovingLoverReturned nope I'm a white Christian actually
Oh okay
The hijab is supposed to be ‘modest’ but it goes beyond that so please make sure you don’t spread incorrect information. The hijab is supposed to enhance the connection muslim women have with God because dressing in that way is a constant symbol and reminder of God. Please also note that modesty applies to men in other forms in Islam too (although not often talked about).
Having a connection with God should be a choice like the way nuns do it. The difference in Islam the hijab is used as a tool to oppress women. Some might claim it is voluntary but it's as voluntary as it is to be a muslim where apostates are sentenced to death for leaving Islam. So how about you stop spreading incorrect information?
Islam does the absolute opposite of oppressing women. If you knew anything about the Quran, you would know that it gave women many rights way beyond your favourite political movements did. There’s an entire surat (section) titled ‘women’, deemed as the direct word of God directed to women (and to men stipulating the rights women have).
I am a Muslim so I know my religion. Don’t question it.
if you are brave then tell me what is the punishment for leaving islam?
Blasphemy is the *only* sin that cannot be forgiven by God. Otherwise God is forgiving and the most merciful. If you don’t like that, you don’t have to be muslim.
In the Quran God clearly states: “For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." [109:6]
@itsalyssaagain so you are not brave then lol you purposely avoided my question because you know it will invalidate the your argument that it is by choice 😉
I literally answered your question read the first sentence again LOL
there is nothing in what you wrote about punishment dont play games with me girl
Blasphemy is the only sin that is not forgiven by god. In the Quran every sin is followed by an ayat stating that God is forgiving and merciful. This implies the punishment is in the after life - hell/heaven.
@itsalyssaagain Tell me do you believe that mohammad is the perfect muslim?
@itsalyssaagain Don't waste your time on that pathetic islamophobe. He decided to block me after I annihialated his absurd claim that Muslims are Nazis. He based that claim on some Muslims joining Nazi Germany during WW2 even though he left out the part that these same Muslims ended up revolting against the Nazis, as well as MANY MORE Muslims joining the allied forces to fight against the Nazis. This guy is allergic to facts and for him having a history of simping for women here, it's clear that he is against modesty because it doesn't serve his perversion in objectifying women.
@"Truth"Bringer you are so obsessed with me dude it's cringey lol first of all that was never my argument that was yours. My argument was both ideologies are similar
@TruthBringer It's funny that some people obsess over a certain group of people so much lol. At the end of the day, I am Muslim and nobody can change that because this is my faith and way of life. Also, Muslims aren't half as bothered as he is about people like him... so weird.
@itsalyssaagain Ignorance and xenophobia are what breed people like him. The fact they need to hate on others so much is a clear tell-tale that they aren't happy in their lives themselves. Poeple like him think they know stuff like religion better than the experts who study them all their lives. I bet he has never heard of 'hermeneutics' before. Just let the dogs bark, that's all they can do really.
@itsalyssaagain don't change the subject like a coward answer my question. Do you believe that mohammed is the perfect muslim?
@TruthBringer loool couldn’t have put it better myself
@itsalyssaagain just as i thought you say its a choice but then when presented evidence its otherwise you change the subject resort to language and tactics like "islamophobia" to shut down conversations and you hide your tail between your legs and run. Its honestly sad because this will cause the downfall of all muslims because they refuse to discuss important issues that makes their religion and beliefs incompatible in the modern era and world. You have the opportunity to help people understand you better and resolve their concerns but instead of changing how you think and what you believe you bury your heads in the sand...
@itsalyssaagain mohammad himself said "Kill those who change their religion." Sahih Bukhari 4:52:260
Yes that’s disrespectful. It doesn’t take too much common sense to realise that they are paid to wear the hijab and don’t actually wear it.
The idea that wearing the hijab curbs male sexual desire and makes men not look at women lustfully is absurd.
That being said, some hijabs are cute and attractive. I'm not opposed to women wearing them if they want to. It's like wearing a hat or scarf.
Not even a little bit. All it sort of does is make men believe they are someone else's property and thus maybe they should leave them alone.
https://apnews. com/article/religion-pennsylvania-sexual-abuse-by-clergy-assault-lancaster-0e97364f986c9b9fffaed44520fc2b1f
Actually hijab was originally a sign of being a high-quality women that respected herself and women that didn't wear it had little respect for themselves.
Grace Kelly wore one sometimes... it's true what yesyesyesyesyesae says
Hair is attractive and it succesfully makes a woman unattractive so for me it would work in not approaching her for a date. I assume in western society it would deter someone since there would often be a hotter girl in the room. In islamic society its common so i assume people there are used to it.
Its anyones right to practice what they want but I personally don't think it does much for the general population of muslim women, looking at sex crimes muslim countries are about on average with most other places but something with Muslim countries to consider is a lot of sexual assault goes unreported and a lot of victims are actually punished due to it being considered "zina" which is so messed up in most cases.
Also if a girl gets raped and she takes him to court she needs 1 man to testify she was raped by the other man or 2 women to testify that. And if found guilty of rape the man that raped her now has to marry her and she has to marry her rapist. Just think about that for a moment...
I rather see it as a scarf. Really helpful for girls to maintain their hair outdoors.
See, if a guy is attracted to a girl, he will pursue her no matter what. That is how it works.
But don't know why, I really like and support hijab! Its nothing out of ordinary to be honest. It is literally just a scarf over the head. The technique of making one is also really good.
Uhm. . . I didn't know that women wore the Hijab because of what men thought.
Dina looks way more beautiful with a hijab than without. Sometimes she wears it. . sometimes she doesn't.
If you're wearing it to show your devotion to you religion, yes, it works in to some extent.
If you're trying to not have men look at you, unless you're wearing a burka, it's not going to have much effect... guys do love to look at the rest of you too, and other than dressing modestly, you not covering much of more of that than someone who doesn't wear a hijab
I am a christian from Iraq, so i know all that and! The girls and women ate forced to wear it or they are basically brain washed. Sure! Religion and that BS, but i have lived there and seen it all, call it controversial all you want, i know what my ears hear and what my eyes saw. I live in Sweden now and i see people wearing whatever they want and i never see others in a sexual way just because they are not wearing hijab
I don't think just covering your hair prevents dudes guys from looking at you like that but it probably would make guys harass you less and leave you alone generally because it means you aren't open to really casually fuck people
Now if you count stuff like abayas & niqabs, then i guess they work for that
Rape in Islamic countries is a huge problem actually
Hair is one of the most sensual and seductive traits in woman. I'm not a muslim but I live in a muslim country and I'm very familiar with their culture but I don't think I should be judging on what people of other religion and culture believe in. I do understand why they cover themselves and if that makes sense to them who am I to judge.
Oppression the women or any other people is a crime against humanity so yes please judge as much as you want. Religion or culture is no excuse to abuse other human beings. We do not live in the stone age like caveman anymore. You have a brain please use it.
@vald9inches no one is oppressing them. Is their choice to cover themselves or not many choose to cove themselves and others don’t is their choice.
@sheikalana Do you know what the punishment is for leaving islam? since you live in a muslim country but you yourself is not muslim right?
The punishment is DEATH! so much for not being oppressed or its a choice lmfao 😂
@vald9inches I know exactly what the punishment is. But how many muslims do you know that have been through that? Or how many muslims do you know that are so very depressed for being muslims?
Some muslims are very strict and chose to follow their religion while others are not as strict and do not follow islam. It's their option. I've met both strict and not so strict muslim families and no one is forcing them to do anything that's what they believe in and what the follow you should not question anyone's faith if that's what they want for their lives.
If you know exactly what the punishment is why didn't you answer me then? because you know in your heart there is a lot of oppression in islam. Islam=Submission
@vald9inches because I don't live in GAG and saw it just a while ago. Is not that deep.
Sure... two whole days and shortly after i post you reply
@vald9inches well, you seem to know more about my life than me. Do not assume so much.
by the way anime=harem 😜
@vald9inches I'm not a muslim.
Who said you were? 😜
Because there a lot of harems in anime duh
It works on your part. This world biased towards patriarchal that you can see, men gets away with the sexual crimes, because they're men. "it's how they build", "men will always be men" is the reason woman can be dead, and there's still men who would have sex with her.
Hell, there's even men having sex with animals.
Islam is really the worst patriarchal religion you will ever see trust me!
On a very very tiny number of men I'm sure it does work. But it's a backwards view. Rather than educate the men on being better men so that they do not act on any lustful desires, they shroud the women as if the women are the ones at fault. This prospective causes a vast amount of destructive behavior, exemplified by the prevalence of sexual assault in predominantly Muslim areas
It's pointless, because you can still see her face. If she's hot, she's hot. I've known hijabi girls who flirt.
But for me, it might do the trick, because I want absolutely nothing to do with hijabi girls. And to be honest, a lot of these girls feel pressured by society, because they'll literally take it off as soon as they leave their home country. Girls like that are fine, and partially covered is also fine. The rest, I want nothing to do with. Too many bad experiences.
Works what? Preventing sexual assaults or something? Nah look at the statistics, it doesn't do anything to offenders. In fact the countries that has suppressive traditions record more sexual offences than others in general. That doesn't mean other countries doesn't have records. Just a bit more.
That’s very horrible that females do that. Just wear whatever you want and if a man is disrespectful then speak up for yourself and tell him not to talk to you that way and to mind his own business.
A man’s temptation is his own, no one else must ever bow down to that. The guy must Learn some self discipline and teach their young boys to be respectful and polite
@serious_miss419 thank you!! One of the rare female comments here with any sense of self respect and logic! Whatever you do do not read @Aquariusmystery comments as a women or you will throw up and be horrified to see another woman advocate for the rape and oppression of other women and lgbtq community
Nope... don't think it works. Especially when they wear their pants tight around their butts, shoes that are sexy, and flirt with guys they work with. I'm speaking of those in America who I've observed are dressed with ONLY a hijab plus American garb.
But, Yes it does work, in some cases, because since being aware of the rules about Islam women, I have just not even looked at them lustfully... out of respect.
(I'm American, former Catholic/agnostic, by the way.)
That’s not true. Who lied to you? Arabs and Muslims practice the Hijab and covering face and hair as an omen to God. The more you cover your hair, and your face and your eyes even. The closer you are to God and represents that you followed Gods laws diligently.
Just covering the hair is not enough. it is necessary to cover the whole body in such a way that the body lines are not clear. In this case, closed women can suppress the sexual desire of men. So just covering the hair is not enough. are you Muslim? Where are you from?
A muslim friend of mine from Iran told me the real reason to wear a hijab is for the woman to show modesty. To not show off her beauty in order to be seen in a different way, but to instead rely on her personality. In many places, this is being disregarded; women with hijabs wearing a lot of makeup, perfume, tight clothes that show off their ass, etc. In that regard, they do not work. Instead of showing modesty, they just adapted different ways to show off.
I don't know how the Middle Eastern mindset so it doesn't work for me. It's actually the opposite. It's because there are other women I see who don't really wear those that they don't look as natural compared. Maybe if I was born in the Middle East where women who wear like that are the only women I see then maybe I'd be hornier and more desperate to see one
Huh... so that's why they do it. Tch, I mean to each their own. But it wouldn't work for me, my dreds are sweet munchkins as it is. Don't need something to hide them, then I'll be scratching my head like crazy.
I like how it looks but I’m atheist so I don’t personally wear one and it doesn’t matter if I liked it or not I respect their right to wear one
What about the right not to wear one? Everyone seems to forget about that part and the serious oppression of women's rights in that religion and countries
People can wear what they want. If a woman wants to wear a hijab, then it's no one else's business. The same is true if she doesn't.
Hijab (covering hair) alone is not enough to prevent lustful gaze if the wearer is wearing skin tight clothing.
And hijab is suppose to cover the breast as well as mentioned in Holy Koran.
None of your business. It's just a culture , So what? How does that affect your life? Your not the one wearing it.
"Culture" is everyone's business when it's a crime against humanity
Hair is highly sexual. So yes it does cover it. But these women in your pic still wear pants which show off their butts, fail. There is a reason why women wear dresses and things like that, to hide their butts and thighs.
Of course it doesn't work and I'm sure it is not the true purpose of it
💯❤️❤️ Thank you for being an intelligent female and not advocating for the oppression of other women under the guise of religion
In terms of the women observing their religious beliefs. Yes it does work.
If you're referring to anything else I gave by the foggiest
Haven't *
It works very well to keep the females that are required to wear them from being beaten for not doing as they are told
Who cares? If that’s what they want to wear then let them it’s not hurting you
You are way more mature then the person who posted this question.
Hijab is not a choice 🤦
@vald9inches yes it is
@Alwayreckles93 thanks
@aquariusmystery then tell me what is the punishment for leaving islam?
@vald9inches I don’t know because I’m not a Muslim. But it’s definitely a woman’s choice to wear hijab or not
Well thank you for being honest not many people understand Islam or are educated in this subject. The punishment for leaving Islam is death most likely by beheading. for a women it could be death by stoning
Do you know what happens if a girl is raped in a Islamic country and she tried to take the rapist to court?
@vald9inches I think you need to meet an actual Muslim and stop falling for propaganda
I lived in a Muslim country half of my life Aquariusmystery some of my best friends have been muslim it's not propaganda... 😑 The answer is if a girl was raped and she took the rapist to court she will need 1 man to testify that she was raped or 2 women to testify she was raped because a woman's word is worth only half of a man's word. If the rapist is found guilty of the rape then he has to marry the girl he raped. Think about that. Also go ahead and Google it if you don't believe me
I highly recommend this guy's YouTube channel he is an muslim and is very honest about educating everyone about Islam and what it teaches. https://youtu.be/IBKpUzgUE5M
This is his personal story leaving Islam.
https://youtu.be/uXMBwZo-rSQ
And these are guest he had and they explained their story leaving Islam. All three are incredibly insightful.

@aquariusmystery oh woops i post one of the videos twice, here is the correct video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=422IFE1v5BM&t=1s
@vald9inches you’re not even using a range of valid sources. Just a YouTube video by the same objective person. Also these people are still alive so your theory is shit.
@Aquariusmystery um these are ex muslims that talk about actually verses from the quran? Did you even watch any of the video at least one of them? Now I think you are just willfully blind and being stubborn. Also I have been nice and polite to you so I would appreciate you would do the same. They are alive because they are refugees that escaped out of a muslim country and are living in the US or EU. Please think about it more careful before you jump to conclusions or say i am wrong. Everything I am saying is not "theory" it's taken directly from the quran or what mohammed said who is considered the perfect muslim example.
@vald9inches I want genuine sources not just an anti Islam YouTube
So the Quran is not a "genuine source" what should i get a muslim priest from a mosque to tell you that islam does not support killing apostates so you can be happy its a "genuine source"? 😂😂😂😂
@aquariusmystery like i am honestly surprised how easily you discredit these people's horrific experiences under islam you might as well say that the lgbtq and trans community are not people that rape victims were asking for it
@vald9inches they’re not. You’re just a troll.
Wow @aquariusmystery they are not people? Are you fucking serious? I can see now talking to you is waste of time you are sexist, homophobic and a pedophile apologist. I am taking a screenshot of this and your face fyi
You should go to Saudi Arabia for a nice vacation sometime I know since you are a women and a pedophile apologist you will love it there!! I am sure you will just love all the sexual assaults since you defend it so much! 😂
@vald9inches I didn’t say they’re not people. You’re just a horrible islamophobic person. God pays debts without money
The deeper problem to this is that there are Muslim countries where women cover up and still get raped and oggled at by men. So either way if men are horny enough we will find something to sexualize about a woman.
Doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks. If they want to wear a hijab then that's their choice.
It's not a choice please learn more about Islam. Just to let you know the punishment for leaving Islam is death
@vald9inches it is a choice. Some wear them some do not. That punishment happens in different countries 8 to be exact. Does not affect physically at least every Muslim.
@Razp_Sorbet but do you honestly believe there is no coercion at all in a religion that has the punishment of death in their holy book? When the entire family will shun their child if they do anything against islam let alone leave islam?
Just read this reddit post from a frustrated ex muslim and you will get a hint of reality for people who live in a islamic country or were born into a muslim family
www.reddit.com/.../
@vald9inches sure that is disgusting, but you're acting as if it's the only religion that does that. If people can interpret the christian bible however they want then people can interpret the Quran however they want.
I'm just saying wearing a hijab is a choice and I respect people who decide to wear it, their religious beliefs couldn't matter less to me.
@Razp_Sorbet YES IT IS THE ONLY RELIGION THAT DOES THAT TO THIS HIGH DEGREE! Also what kind of argument is that? they are doing too so it makes it ok? Let me ask you something have you ever lived in a islamic country?
@vald9inches I DON'T CARE. i was just commenting on the hijab. Not the religion as a whole. Gtfo of here.
I take that as a no lol you haven't lived in a Islamic country. In my opinion any self respecting women would never defend such patriarchal religion and ideology where the women are obviously oppressed and enslaved no self respecting human being would do that.
But you are free to do what you want unlike them so i will leave you to contemplate that other than that it was good talking to you and have a great day
@vald9inches it's not my place to judge someones faith. I don't agree with most religions I think they all have pretty archaic ideas.
I bet you don't do this to people talking about Christianity and using Christianity as an excuse to exhibit certain behavioural.
Kinda just seems like you're islamophobic and mad that I'm not.
@Razp_Sorbet please dont use that term islamophobic they are not a race to be used like that lol islam is an ideology and just like any other belief system it can be scrutinized just like Nazism was obviously inhumane so is islam. So whenever there are human rights being violated by belief systems i will always be there to fighting against it no matter what religion or belief or system it is and yes that includes christianity. Islam just happens to be one of the most extreme and strict and uniquely brainwashing religion in the world.
@vald9inches if it was a race I'd call you racist.
Again depends where you live. Muslims across western countries (and there are a lot of them) are not subject to these killings because it is not a law in those countries. The issue is really because of countries using religious texts to dictate laws. People being barred from families for leaving their faith happens in every religion. Me explaining these things doesn't mean I think it's okay or right I'm just simply stating facts. We don't blame any other religion for the acts of a few horrible people so why do we do it for Muslims?
@Razp_Sorbet its not a few horrible people that is the problem. The problem is the ideology that influenced those horrible people and thats why we do criticize the religions and ideologies of the world. Islam is not uniquely criticized but it is uniquely worse than other religions when it comes to integration into modern society.
I am sure you have heard of honor killings? Even muslims living in western countries are susceptible to honor killings and other barbaric beliefs.
Here is an example of a recent honor killing
nypost.com/.../
Also if its not racist whats the purpose of calling me islamophobe other than to shut down speech? Its like if i called you capitalistphobe or christianphobe what is the purpose of that? lmfao 😂
@vald9inches there's 1.8 billion Muslims world wide in comparison to that it's a few people.
Do you have the same energy when it comes to christian ideology being pushed on people? Have you spoken out about the abortion bans? What about conversion therapy? Same sex marriage?
@Razp_Sorbet but thats what i am trying to tell you is its not a few people for other religions it might be but not islam and thats what makes it so unique among all the other religions. And yes of course i passionately defend women's rights in other areas as well as you know recently with the whole abortion issue with the supreme court reversing the roe vs wade issue
as well as same sex marriage and other humanitarian issues. While i dont currently agree with the current state of transitioning for a number of reasons i still believe they deserve compassion and help. If you would like i would be more than happy to talk with you more on the subject and exchange ideas.
I believe it can be a fashion statement of empowerment or oppression, depending on the circumstances.
Typical religious pricks. Men can't be expected not to act like rutting animals, so women have to be restricted in what they can wear.
Pathetic losers.
LOL no i see it as a human rights violation unless its done willingly.
And no It does nothing to curb sexual desire. If a man wishes to rape a woman (evil disgusting monster).. The clothing will not change it.
Yes and no…. Men can find hair sexy so it would work in that way but men can also find the whole innocent sweet pure girl thing sexy too so it can attract and turn some men on in that way.
Hijab is a symbol of oppression and nothing else.
Nun

Muslim womanWhy Muslim Woman Is perceived differently than a nun? Explain to me without bias or hypocrisy.
Huehuebueuhebehfufufushdhddhdh Men looking at our hair? YEAH RIGHT 😂😂
To me it indeed works: I see a Hijab - I turn away :)
No I don’t. If she’s got a gorgeous face I’m still going to find her attractive. I’ve watched porn w women portraying Muslim women wearing a hijab while giving a blowjob. So fucking sexy.
No, it doesn't make much sense. A girl I used to work with wore a complete covering. The first time she got in the elevator with me it was like, wow, a black ghost.
"Im a straight woman" those dont exist lol. But i think they work. With my experience with animals, i realllly dont like females who let the males do things to them and keep the males excited. Its ANNOYING. Fuck sluts
To me it's just a trend that isn't even really known about as to why. Guys look at the face, not the hair.
I don't think that is why the hijab is worn. I believe it is more like a religious observance. Are you a Muslim?
It’s probably meant to keep the wolves Off of you to protect the boyfriend from having a fit with all the wolves Going after you
Go to any Islamic country and you will quickly realize that it does not! Rape is a huge problem in those countries
For those who believe in wearing it as there religion states or culture i do see no evil in it, and hence it works since some most women look cute in stylish modest Hijabis.
It order from the Prophet of Islam, to waer Hajaab, when they leave thrir homes, so that males should not see them lust fully, all previous things are cared more, so women are also precious
Muslim majority countries have the highest rape rates, so it doesn't work at all.
90% useless if the gal has a pretty face things come to attention the hair just adds to it.
