There could be an infinite number. Not sure whether that's countably infinite or perhaps even more than that. But, really, who cares? As far as we can tell, even if there is a God there's nothing we can do about it. Prayer doesn't work. Misfortune falls equally on the devout and the skeptical. So why worry about it?

First you have to define what God is. If we say Thor is God, then why not have Odin!! It depends on your definition of God and what you perceive as God.

Who ever said god is possible?
Yea maybe if you consider a Kardashev type 6-7 civilization, so advanced they could control multiple universes and change reality, those could be gods in our eyes.
