Meaning if you have guarded your mind and your heart from the things and people of this world. For example: you stopped watching certain movies and hanging around certain people even after doing this do you still get tempted?

Thorns (See Paul) don’t go away. Man can not improve or protect himself except In and Through Christ Jesus. Man can not function separated and guarded from the individual and Culture as a whole.
—Outside of known people and places avoidance, Vigilance is found at…In and Through Christ Jesus. Self-Indulged and fallen/Depraved human beings do not Improve or Enlighten.
—Know it’s real, Give it over in real-time, Avoid the Obvious Temptations via people, place, event etc, and live as His image bearers.-We have, finitely, His Attributes such as Holy, Love, Judgment, Mercy, Indwelled with Grace…
—Serve Others…as exampled in the Bible and lots of 💩 can clear-up.

There's something about the human brain: once a threshold has been passed it is always something that needs to be guarded against.
Eating too many sweets, eating an unhealthy diet, drinking, smoking, drugs, certain types of porn, road rage... anything.
Once you "go there" it is always more difficult to stop. With discipline over time it gets easier. but that's why someone who hasn't had a drink in 30 years still says they're a "recovering alcoholic", or like me, wife and I have been faithful for 19 years but I'm still a "recovering sex addict".
It does get easier over time but it takes extra discipline in the beginning.

LBGTQ is not a lifestyle. It’s something that you are attracted to. A lesbian/bisexual can’t just stop being attracted to women as a gay male can’t just stop being attracted to men. If a religion is forcing you out being who you are , that’s honestly toxic.

I know I'm currently bisexual but I don't act on my desires because of my relationship with Jesus. I'm asking because I want to know if you can really be delivered from your same sex attraction.

@Inez27 I practiced a religion close to Christianity however it found it to be culty and I’ve moved on from religion. The point being is you simply can’t stop yourself from being attracted to who you like. That’s not possible. The fact that you feel like you need to do that is honestly awful
