Yes. I used to not bother. But I gave it a look into. Too much evidence for me to toss.
Even Jesus enemies never denied he existed. I find it interesting that most of the world bases its calendar years on the time he was thought to have been born.
I think each individual should take some quality time to look into the bible directly, no preacher, but himself/ herself personally.
Feel free to ask me questions if you are hung up on something that seems off in the bible.
oh Thank you for being wiling to helpš! I will keep it in mind, that's really kind of you.
Hay please do tell how you put an emote in your reply.
Oh sure no problem!, I drag my mouse to the text then I click on the left side button on my mouse and that shows me a list of options so then I click the emoji option and select the emoji that I want. i hope i'm making sense..
Nope :) but I followed and unfollowed and followed you several times clicking that little vertical bar to the left that has the thumb up icon in it. Thought that was the left side buttons.
While typing I have nothing in my text box at all. I am on a computer. Since you said mouse I gather that you are too.
Wait what? how did that smiley get into my text.

I don't accept any god claim, and I do not accept the claim that the Jesus of the bible existed.
Now, I usually have to clarify this, because theists will bring up records of some Jesus of Nazareth and try to condescend -
A real historical figure, and a mythologised figure are not one and the same. If 10,000 years from now Harry Potter is mythologised, future people pointing to records of Daniel Radcliffe would not prove that Harry Potter actually existed. Similarly, while a historical Jesus who was likely a travelling faith healer may have existed, a supernatural entity who performed whatever bible miracles you believe, did not actually exist.
I am a believer In God and in Jesus Christ and I wanted to thank you for sharing your views because they are giving me insight on why some people do not believe in God or in Jesus Christ.
Yet you seem to be a practitioner of the dark arts.
There is nothing to make me not believe other wise so looking at the world and the people in it how everything is made just for us and precise and a lot more other things I believe in energy and the higher power I also believe in a lot of other things I believe when we were born we were all given a gift
That gift was a choice we all get the opportunity to choose what we believe in who we want to be we choose who we want to be by the things we say and do have faith I know nothing about the Bible but I have faith
I believe in all positive things and I believe that we are all one
No. I donāt believe in a magical man in the sky, because I think itās just too far fetched.
This is what happenedā¦.
There was a bang.

But not just any bang, it was a BIG BANG.
After the smoke cleared after the bangā¦ā¦ā¦.
There were green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty-backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn
I love that song. The Irish Rovers

I was in Thailand and I went to a small electronic shop. I wanted to buy an iPod from the girl.
I asked the girl if I could add music to it. She looked down to the ground in shame. She said, no.
I asked her if the iPod was "Jing Jing". (Meaning real.)
The Thais have a lot of pride, but we all have to eat. She told me it's not Jing Jing.
It was a Chinese Knock off. The Chinese always rip off our technology.
Fuck it. I bought it, and I knew she needed to put food on the table for her and her kids.
The lord works in mysterious ways.
My fake iPod came loaded with the band "Gaelic Storm"
If you like the Irish Rovers, then hang on to your hat.

No, I define god for myself & that is the order I see over chaos (to me this is imposed), also represents truth to me. Look throughout history & you will notice kings corrupted the bible ages ago in a successful attempt to consolidate power over the people.
I was the same I believed the bible was edited,, because that's what I heard from historians so I stopped reading but then I read it and realized that it If there really is a powerful and mighty God in heaven he would not let anyone temper with the bible in a way that would make it useless to those who want to be believers of Christ and the Lord. The reason why is because the bible serves as a guide for believers without it we would be lost, who ever spread the story of how the bible has been edited may be an antichrist person trying hard to discourage people from reading the bible. The bible warns us about the antichrist and they sure do spread a lot of false information that's easy to believe if you don't read the bible.
@adronicus, The bible was not meant to be a story it's meant to be a factual manual to guide anyone who wants to be a believer in God and to teach them how they can Go about doing that. The bible was written to teach!. I have read the bible and I and many other people who have read and understood the bible can confirm that any editing that has been done on the bible is not a hindrance at all and it does not take away from its usefulness in any way at all! and you and I were not there at all at the times of King James, historians are not always accurate sometimes they lie so that they can get paid and put food on the table. If there really is a powerful God in heaven then he will never allow any soul to edit the bible in a way that will make it useless to any person who wants to read it or who reads so that they can know the true and honest word of God!.
Everything that is written in the bible is the honest truth! all the prophecies that the bible has made are happening and the ones that have not happened will happen!
Nope I'm an agnostic. I don't refuse the existence of higher forces but so far the only "proof" of them existing is fantasy book so I can't blindly follow that as truth.
May I ask why you are saying that the bible is a fantasy book?
To me every religious literature is by default if there is even one untrue statement. It's describing events and phenomena that is scientifically unrealistic or untrue or just outright goes entirely against science. Also some events in religious literature completely go against realistic events. Like how the Bible says the sun won't harm us or how in the Quran says Muhammed split the moon.
Those are just two examples.
If I wrote a religious book saying the Earth is actually made of glass and all the inhabitants are made of strawberry seeds people would call me a lunatic and my book would be referred as a fantasy book. Why would my book be any different from all of those other religious books?
I do not see the bible as a fantasy book at all I believe in it whole heartedly however I wanted to thank you for sharing your views with me I like knowing other peoples perspectives on such topics.
I appreciate your calmness regardless of differentiating religious views. It's usually impossible to come to any sort of "your opinion matters as much as mine" conclusion with religious people. Religion today is way too zealous and people lose human decency whenever opinions differ.
Religions need more people like you.
I agree with you nowadays it can be hard to discuss things with people because its almost like they cannot accept the fact that not everyone is going to share their beliefs!. Also, thank you so much for your compliment š
@MCheetah Exactly but whether or not it's stupid is arguable as blind faith has it's benefits. Regardless it's surprising for sure to see people of above average intelligence or mental capabilities follow everything written in a medieval text as absolute truth.
It's even more weird when they start to pick and choose. Like not believing that thunder is actually "gods wrath" because it's been proven to be scientifically untrue but still believing everything else outside of that simply because it's not so easy to disprove.
@jeemm
Yeah, the cognitive dissonance is insane. And while it'd be arrogant of me to assume I have all the answers because I obviously do not, I personally cannot take anyone seriously who believes in any of this nonsense, as well as believe them to be anything but a low intelligence fool. It is willful ignorance, and blind faith. If something can't stand up to scrutiny and criticism, then it was never strong to begin with. That's why I said people can believe in whatever they want. But if those same people get offended that others do not believe in them, then they are just ignoring how flimsy and ridiculous those beliefs are. It's like the same thing with transpeople and people who make up pronouns and fake sexualities. You can believe in whatever you want, but you show your weakness of belief the moment you start getting mad that others don't also believe in such fiction.
@jeemm
It's also weird how people just go with the whitewashed version of Jesus. We don't even know if he was real or not, but if he was, he certainly wasn't a blue-eyed white guy. People can't even accept IF Jesus was real, he'd likely been what he know now as Arabic. Not to mention, he'd probably been like 5'2" to 5'3", given the time.
@MCheetah I see people mentioning this a lot but do Christians actually believe him to be a white guy? No one I know that is Christian or was Christian actually thought he was white.
I'm Christian on paper as it was part of normal schooling in Finland and I never really cared about trying to be different religiously so I did all the Christian things. During that time I never once saw a "white Jesus" and he was always middle-eastern looking to me.
So you are a non-believer because unless you can see the LORD physically then he does not exist for you. But the material world is a your disposal therefore youāre more likely to believe in it than HIM.
Well thatās your problem if you donāt have faith and believe then you canāt be saved.
Hi Jeemm I see where you said the bible makes the statement "Like how the Bible says the sun won't harm us" Could you clarify that please. I have never run across that.
And this is an important point. - "To me every religious literature is by default if there is even one untrue statement."
Did you know, for thousands of years the bible has been scrutinized and never even in the smallest detail has it be wrong. Time lines, cities, historical figures, events you name it, its all been questioned and found accurate. Even the appearance of life. Evolutionists who care not for the bible see the order life showed up on earth. I wonder how Moses who wrote Genesis was able to get that right. Makes you wonder and leaves room for questions.
I have to respect agnostics because, for most of them, they did not just accept what was handed to them. They mostly base their belief on the evidence thay looked at. What would happen if you have more evidence to look at?
@Unfortunateguy27 Saved? From what? If you're referring to something like eternal hellfire then even if that was the case and it happens to me I'd be fine with it. At least it's eternal and not temporary. An everlasting existence regardless of agony or bliss is better than no existence at all so the concept of hell really doesn't concern me all that much.
@Wsx2wsx2ws
Regarding the sun harming us I only recalled something I read years ago so had to google to find out exactly what it was in reference to. I landed on this:
https://www.bible.com/bible/111/PSA.121.6-8.NIV
I don't really know what you're referring to when it comes to bible telling everything accurately and it just sounds like you're stating things as facts through confirmation bias.
What would happen if I was provided more evidence? By "more" you'd first have to give me a reason to believe at all. Even if you listed 50 reasons that make somewhat sense because they have coherent logic like: "How can the universe materialize from nothing? Of course it had to have been created by something." which I hear from religious people a lot it really proves nothing.
It only says you came to a conclusion through ignorance and abstract speculation.
Ok thanks for the time to reply. And doing the research to provide that verse. Wonder how in context that verse is unrealistic.
But not dwelling
Regarding "accuracy" I mean just that. Not one thing in the bible has ever been proven to be wrong or inaccurate. I listed a few fields. But here are some others. Science, History, Geography, zoology, biology, chronology, Astronomy, psychology, prophecy just to name a few. There have been many many attempts to prove even one thing wrong. Like did Abraham really ride camels? They jumped to the conclusion no they where not tamed in his time. But then they had to humbly retract that when they discovered much older images of people riding camels. Seems silly but hay it was accurate.
A better example: at the time the book of Job was written there where some strange ideas about the earth. It was flat and it sat on the back of elephants and the like. The bible says at Job 26:7 "... he hangs the earth upon nothing" Why does it say that and not elephants or any thing like that? Without instruments to see such things how did Moses get that right?
Also Isaiah 40:22 "He sits above the [circle, sphere, globe] of the earth" depending on what translation you read. How did Isaiah know it was a ball like shape?
As for the beat to death "how did the universe appear" even there, no one disagrees it started from nothing. So there the bible once again is not wrong.
However consider this please. To discredit the bible with out real evidence to do so, is your loss and no one else's. Honestly I don't need you to believe it. But I kindly take the time because I think you are interested.
You are saying "you'd first have to give me a reason to believe at all." I don't have to give you a reason and no one can. That reason has to come from you. You had a reason to dismiss it with out seeming much effort. I am asking you to open that reason back up for investigation and nothing more. But the choice is absolutely yours. And it always will be.
@Wsx2wsx2ws "Wonder how in context that verse is unrealistic."
It's talking about Sun not harming humans since God (I presume) will protect them. Whether that be about sunburn or not the fact of the matter is that in the future it's irrefutable that the Sun will eventually engulf the Earth and completely obliterate it. That includes all life like humans.
"bible says at Job 26:7 "... he hangs the earth upon nothing" Why does it say that and not elephants or any thing like that? Without instruments to see such things how did Moses get that right?"
Get what right? Sounds like you're grasping at straws as that statement doesn't really say anything at all. Not only does it not disprove the Earth resting on top of something as it's speaking about hanging from something but it doesn't refute the claim outright.
Even if it completely went against all beliefs of what the Earth was at that time and said the Earth was round, it was spinning and orbiting the Sun it would still prove nothing regarding religion. The only thing it would prove is that his information was correct but that information could have come from anywhere or even be purely speculation from observation.
"Also Isaiah 40:22 "He sits above the [circle, sphere, globe] of the earth" depending on what translation you read. How did Isaiah know it was a ball like shape?"
Curvature of the land can be easily determined. Doesn't take much.
Also from the same psalm:
"The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth."
Wait... Ends of the Earth? So the Earth is flat and it ends at some point? Sounds really clear to me what he was talking about and he clearly meant it the way I read it. He meant the Earth was flat and ended somewhere and God created it all. Damn.
You see how problematic it is to draw conclusions from a text that doesn't provide any form of explanation through calculation or experiment.
For sure in Science, Intelligent Design, and Morality just to start PLUS Attributes of God and man and fallen man Need. NO doubt in my mindā¦even the Quran talks about Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, Jesus as Messiah, Torah calls for Messiah, secular history confirming it, forensics of Body of Christ and all event veritable through linguistics, archaeology, history etcā¦
Frankly, āI donāt have enough faith to be an Atheistā, Norman Geisler.-deceased but brilliant.
Believe your god exists? Sure
Do I worship, respect or care about that god? Not even a bit
Do I believe Jesus the christ existed? I believe Jesus existed, he was a cult leader, not the christ.
Thank you for sharing your views, I have seen a lot of people claiming to be Jesus in this modern era, they most probably did the same thing back then but I do believe that there was the real Jesus Christ and that was not trying trying to create a cult but instead he was instead trying to help humanity!. of course you can reject his assistance if you do not want it after all we all have free will.
Thank you I hope that you enjoy your day as well, I will try to enjoy mine.
Why is the character of Jesus always depicted with long hair?
"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" - 1 Corinthians 11:14
I see biblical art as a representation but of course it is not always going to be accurate, for many various reasons... Historically I was taught that they painted Jesus as a Nazareth and according to the beliefs of the Nazareth people who never cut their hair, so that's why he has long hair in most paintings!. they thought JesĆŗs was a Nazareth
I can see how Nazareth can be confused with Nazirite
Nazirite
A word taken from the Hebrew for āOne Singled Out,ā āDedicated One,ā āSeparated One.ā There were two classes of Nazirites: those who volunteered and those who were appointed as such by God. A man or a woman could take a special vow to Jehovah to live as a Nazirite for a period of time. Those voluntarily taking the vow had three principal restrictions: they were to drink no alcohol nor eat any product of the grapevine, they were not to cut their hair, and they were not to touch a dead body. Those appointed by God as Nazirites remained such for life, and Jehovah specified the requirements for them.āāNu 6:2-7; Jg 13:5.
(Nazʹa·reth) [probably, Sprout-Town].
A city in Lower Galilee where Jesus lived most of his earthly life, along with his half brothers and half sisters. (Lu 2:51, 52; Mt 13:54-56)
Jesus was not a Nazarite. John the Baptizer was. Jesus drank wine, John the baptizer did not. So the matter of his hair has nothing to do with a Nazirite vow.
Its just the falacy of the dark ages knowing little of the bible but what is told to them by the clergy.
Remember that the commoner was not allowed to read it. Nor where there many copies because printing presses where not invented by Gutenberg till much later. Additionally to trample your enemies and have God on your side you had to look the same.
None of this stems from Jesus' teachings.
jesus christ (or jesus of nazareth) may have been a real person. so i am inclined to believe that this person has existed though not exactly like the bible describes him. i don't believe in god, cause for people we have a long history of people existing. so it's not unreasonable to claim that some person existed. with a "god" it's a different story tho. cause there's no precident for a god ever existing, so i can't just rely on previous similar things existing like with jesus.
No. I'm agnostic, and all man-made religions make no sense or have no valid logic to them. While Christianity is extremely silly, it's nowhere near as bad as Scientology or especially Islam, the worst ideology on the planet. I'm not saying none of these deities exist though; I'm saying humans are too stupid and selfish to know what created the universe and keep the story factual and unbiased, assuming even one of these religions were true. Almost all major religions (except maybe Buddhism) are twisted and filled with bias just to make a few select men rich.
TL;DR: Religion is stupid and rife for corruption.
@mcheetah, why would you call anyone who doesn't hold the same beliefs as you stupid or silly?, It's 100 percent okay to disagree with the religious individuals of this world but calling them names and dismissing them as being silly and stupid is not at all fair not all religious people cause corruption there are many religious people who do not impose their views on others and who are able to respect those who choose to see things differently than they do. I'm a Christin here so I'm speaking on behalf of all the Christians who do not cause any one who disagrees with them any harm!. I know some Christians are missionaries and they preach Gods word on the street, that seems to upset some people who are not believers of Christ but you can just walk away and carry on with your day and not listen to whoever is preaching that's what some people do. If I saw a Satanist preaching the satanic bible I would just walk away you don't have to listen to the preaching and you don't have to believe in them but have respect for those who do choose to believe. I for one respect those who hold different beliefs than I do. Us humans have had completely different experiences in this world so we are not always going to agree with each other for some of us God, Jesus and the bible are very very important in our lives, and for others They are not at all important and that's okay but let's respect each other regardless. that's how I see things.
You donāt have to go to church or be well versed in the Bible for God to reach out to you. Hopefully you can find the Lord because he wants you. So you can live a worldly life created by and for man or you can find God and do things in this life for HIM., not for yourself.
There is a almighty God and I know this for a fact as I have experienced his healing and had visions for approx 2years now. I always believed in God despite my lack of biblical knowledge.
Just repent. Plead with God either vocally or mentally and say sorry God please and ask for forgiveness for what youāve wronged and you must truly mean it with your heart aching and tears running. He will answer. I can tell my story if you are interested but I wonāt if not.
saying religious people cause corruption is not a fair statement at all because not all of them do, you have not meet every religious person in the world to determine that they all cause corruption, I know many of them who do not*
@unfortunateguy27, thank you for sharing š
@Starlight007
I said, "humans are too stupid and selfish to know what created the universe and keep the story factual and unbiased, assuming even one of these religions were true." As in, the entire species. Not just the religious ones. And I stand by that. As a whole, humanity is a selfish and stupid species.
I never said "you are stupid just for having faith." I said humanity is stupid overall. In another comment, I stated I can't believe anyone to be an intelligent person if they operate on blind faith and willful ignorance, which is required to make (most) religions work; especially in contrast to other religions existing. But I didn't say that here.
I also said I'm agnostic, so I don't disbelieve in the possibility of a higher power or a creator. I said humanity doesn't have the intelligence or lack of bias, to know what that creator could accurately be. And we don't.
I respectfully disagree with you, but I do thank you for sharing your views regardless!
No. Jayjay prob existed, though the only evidence is in the bible. Pontius had multiple references in Roman paperwork.
And god, wellā¦have him show up and weāll talk.
Jesus is God, many of us Christians believe in the trinity. And believe me when I say that he will show up Jesus is going to show up one of these days.
Jesus is going to come back to Earth when all of humanity least expects it and when that day comes we will see who has been wrong all along and who has been right all along!. you don't have to believe me but when Jesus shows up on that day you and everyone else who ever doubted his existence will believe that he exists.
we will all see Jesus Christ on that day!
Why are you in a hurry to see Jesus Christ?
Jesus did not say that he will come again during the apostles life time you are the only person in my life who I have heard say this, Jesus said that he will come again but he never specified when he will come!
The end days are happening they have been happening ever since he left earth and went to heaven everything the bible said would happen is happening and has been happening throughout history and this modern era, what's happening now all over the world is a sign to show that Jesus is coming these signs are here to remind Christians to remind Christians that Jesus is coming and that they must keep following Gods word so that they may be saved when the world ends, that end is near even the bible says that when the world finally ends it will be a big surprise to everyone on earth its going to be on the day when we all least expect it!.
What's said in that quote is true everyone who is dead is not dead in a spiritual sense because they have not yet been judged for their sins, we will be judged when Jesus returns and then those who have sinned against the lord will be charged with the penalty of eternal death. the death that people die now since Jesus has not yet come is due to our mortality. The eternal death is the death where everyone who has sinned will go to Hell or the eternal fire. "And if anyoneās name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15 ESV). In verse 10, we are told that the Lake of Fire burns āforever and ever.ā the book of life is the book that has all the names of the people who will go to heaven and who will be granted eternal life!.
The bible already prophesied that they will be more people in hell than in heaven because not many people are going to be willing to Follow Gods word and Believe In God and on top of that the bible did tell us that it is going to be immensely difficult to be a Christian and that very few people are going to follow through with the word of God so I already knew that what you are telling me will happen because I read the bible. All the Christians who have genuinely believed in and loved God and who Accept Jesus as their savior and who continuously carry out God's word and his teachings will be rewarded in heaven though so all the difficulties that Christians endure here on this world will be more than worth it! and that's the truth!
Like I said initially, They did not taste death, the "death" that Jesus is referring to is the spiritual death that will be endured when he comes again to judge our sins!, I already explained that the spiritual death is also called the eternal death and it will be the penalty that all the people including the disciples will pay if they sinned against God. The death that the disciples have died is due to them being mortal, everyone dies because we are mortal but just because you have died does not mean you have experienced the spiritual death/eternal death!. I
The spiritual death is what I and some other Christians call it but the bible refers to as the second death and the eternal death. since you don't believe the things I am saying google it for yourself, look up Bible verses about the second death and bible verses about the coming of Christ and bible verses about the eternal fire.
In Revelation 21:8 we read: "[A]s for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." here's an example!
here's another one !
Daniel 12:2 ESV
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Here's another one!
John 5:28-29 ESV
Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
Revelation 20:12-15 ESV
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Also Jesus is God, the bible teaches about the trinity of God.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
Matthew 24:44
Here is a quote proving that Jesus will come on the day where no one expects him to come!
Here is another quote proving that no one on earth knows when Jesus will return
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Matthew 24:42
she will prove it when you see him walking the earth and kicking butt and taking names. Melting Tanks and stopping wars. Then he is going to rule earth for 1000 years. Odd ball you will bow to him whether you want to or not
@888theGreat Thank you!š
no he didn't , read Revelation
No you are the one who is mistaken @OddBeMe, I have literally done everything you told me to do regarding proving evidence for the things that I am saying about the bible but still you don't get it! you see the evidence in front of your eyes i have sent you the bible scriptures which say the exact same thing that i have said but you still don't get it.
The bible is a Holy Book written by the Holy Spirit , and it cannot be understood by just anyone God chooses who he wants the bible to be understood by and if God refuses to allow you to understand the bible scriptures than you never will even if a person provides you with evidence like I just did right now!.
here look the bible says exactly what i'm saying to you!
1 Corinthians 2:14
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
you just said yourself that i am rationalizing the bible which i am not, i was literally telling you exactly what the bible says and i proved that everything i said is written by quoting the bible but you do not see the evidence and i do not think that it makes any sense to you!.
Isaiah 44:18
They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.
For it is written in the bible that God blinds the eyes of the non believers so that they may understand the Holy bible when they read it, I'm not that smart!, I cannot rationalize anything all I did was tell you exactly what the bible says!. I think you have already decided that you want to be an unbeliever in God's word and i can tell by how you talk about God and Jesus that you do not believe in them wholeheartedly, so if you have already decided that you do not want to believe in God and in Jesus Christ and the Holy bible then don't, go on with your daily life and Leave God alone and leave everything that has to do with God alone!. and God will do the same, if you reject God he will leave you alone and his Holy text the bible will also leave you alone because it will never make any sense to you!.
For it is written in the bible that God blinds the eye of the non believers so that they may NOT* understand the bible when they read it. is what i meant to say
I meant to say Go on with your daily life not don't* go on with your daily life
Essentially @OddBeMe, The world will end infact it's already ending and Jesus is going to come! and we will all see him and we will all be judged! nothing anyone on Earth says is going to change that fact!. You can do what ever you want, you can disagree with me but the fact is that Jesus will definitely return!
I do seriously appreciate you. But you're not showing evidenceā¦. you're preaching what you beleive. In your head it sounds like evidence. But to me its preaching your opinion.
All you really had to say was that Jesus was mistaken. And we could leave it at that. But your beliefs can't allow jesus to be fallible.
Like I said and like @888thegreat also said, we will see who was right and who was wrong when Jesus comes again! lets leave it at that!
that argument your saying right now is like saying did you know the word John initially meant graced by God but then the people living in the Victorian era started using the word John to refer to a Toilet or a bathroom. All words and names have different meanings to different people, The Holy bible bible has always said that the word Messiah means the promised āanointed oneā or Christ; the Savior.
After Jesus died on the cross he did go to live in heaven though so what's your point?
You can keep saying what ever you want to say, anything you want to say it But the fact is that Jesus will return one day! end of story! I am not going to say anything more about this, You will see the truth with your own eyes oneday!.
I won sir. in fact My obligation is to give the info not change your mind. I am told to brush the dust off my feet and leave if you don't care for it. I will say this with all due respect and leave you be.
But that DID happen. The temple Jesus was specifically referring to did get destroyed and their Jewish system dependent on it ended. He described to a T what it would look like. That Jerusalem would be surrounded by encamped armies. They where to flee. That happened In 66. Now how are they to flee? The Romans withdrew for some uncertain reason. The Christians fled and did not return. And for 4 years the remaining Jews reveled in their mistaken victory. But 70 came and so did the Romans. The temple was broken into tiny pieces to get the gold that melted from the intense fires from the stones.
Not a letter of what he said went unfulfilled. Hopefully that would make one think.
The beginning of that was to say " I won't argue with you sir." not sure why that got clipped like that. Sounds completely contrary as "I won sir" lol
That's a bit of a disturbing picture given the reputation of Christian authorities concerning children. Just saying.
I saw this painting that I thought was lovely and heartwarming art piece done by an artist who I do not know unfortunately and one thing I know about the artist community is that they usually do not get a lot of appreciation for their work so I thought I would put that painting up to represent Jesus and the love he has for all the children in this world. The man holding the hand of the child in that painting is a representation of JesĆŗs. and I know a lot of people do horrible things to children and use Gods name to justify their actions in some cases and that breaks my heart, I did not have any cruel intentions when i put that painting up at all.
I also put the painting up to give some recognition to the artist who did this art work*
I will start to believe in "god" once people stop doing bad things in the name of it
its so sad to see that, there are a lot of people who do scary things and use Gods name to justify their action!
actions*
Yep!
Of course I do!
Here's a picture of Him: Black Jesus
I am not sure what you mean by believe in, and my God may not be your God.
I'm not sure if he was ever real, or if he ever said those things, but I love what Jesus said in the Bible.
I've had too many things that happened to me in my life that I cannot deny that there is the creator.
Nah from my point of view that belief just doesn't hold water or wine
God is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is God.
God the ultra being
Jesus = God in physical form
Holy Ghost = God in Spirit Form
I call it "The Mystical Hand Of The Universe"!!!
The human mind can't comprehend even the simplest definition of "god".
Watch this series "Excavating The Empty Tomb"
https://www.youtube.com/embed/4jOzCMy9e5EI believe in god but I don't believe Jesus is a god or the son of god.
Not sure the label matters. She told us what she believes. It don't need a sticker.
@Wsx2wsx2ws
I assumed she was deist. I don't know a monothestic religion outside of abraham religions.
There is definitely a caption missing from photo A.

Of course. My life has been too shitty for God not to have a hand in it.
I do think god could exist, but I do not worship him.
But Is that behaviour stringent? If he Is really God would he not deserve your worship?
@standardguy No, not at all. To deserve something is earn it or being shown worthy of it, and to me, he has not earned that devotion.
Bit If he Is God then he Is also the creator of the world. Then you live because he has given you life. Your life Is worth nothing? š¢
Jesus existed, I doubt he was Christ or the son if God.
If you chose NO - what if you're wrong?
They will find out then won't they
@MCheetah you mean the devil? Yea that is not my God. that is the god of this world who you are already serving like it or not
@Whatever2929292
The one who was written like a petulant teenager with no friends and will punish people both on Earth and in Hell for no valid reason and wants you to kiss his ass for literally all of eternity? Yeah, that's who I meant: Yahweh. Also looking at the state of the world, he's doing quite a sh*tty job at being supreme leader, as well. And saying "free will" is a cop out. That's like being a bad parent and letting your toddler get into dangerous situations and then claiming they have "free will."
Again, believing in this sh*t is beyond retarded. At the very least, if someone is going to have faith, it should be a "my relationship with God is only between me and Him" spiritual kind of way. Actual religion itself though, as in all the man-made books and whatnot, is the dumbest sh*t ever.
@MCheetah I don't think you know what you are talking about there buddy and you are angering my heavenly father
@Whatever2929292
My initial response wasn't even directed at you anyway; it was directed at sage2021, who asked the question. So you shouldn't have responded if you don't like me pointing out facts and reality.
@MCheetah even though YOU responded to the post... Don't tell me I can't reply to stuff when you did the same thing
@Whatever2929292
I don't have a problem with you responding. It's with you jumping into the conversation and then getting all offended over it and trying to claim "I don't know what I'm talking about" just because I don't share your silly beliefs.
@MCheetah which is what YOU did exactly
@MCheetah you came in here all angry about God and everything and just jumped right on in. GOD IS GONNA GET YOU IN JESUS NAME!!!
@MCheetah I don't even know you and neither does my heavenly father
