No. I suspect he MIGHT'VE been alive at one point but, none of the praise and attributes accredited to him were needed.
Funny how we only have fables of his birth and death but very little about any other aspect of his live. When do we get to hear about his terrible 2's, his childhood years, his troubled teens, his struggle to find and keep a job, or even a girlfriend, how many times he got laid, zits, when did he lose his virginity and to whom? He was into wine, how many times did he get drunk and wreck his dad's chariot?

I believe Jesus Christ was a fictional character created by men to control other people in a society. Just like Zeus and Apollo or Odin and Thor or Ra and Isis. Myths and fairy tales have been used to control the rabble for thousands of years.

Jesus was used to reinvent Christianity when the version with a vengeful Old Testament "God" stopped selling well. They softened it up and shifted towards the eternal life marketing and away from the hell fire and damnation sales pitch. It worked!

No, personally no. I see believers pretend they follow his teachings and leave him in the dirt while carrying his cross as a guard against any & all criticism / responsibility though which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I support lifting up others, giving a voice to the voiceless, standing up for whats right, and preaching the good word of every American because an American is a good American whether I agree with them or not.

Sorta? Honestly there is decent historical evidence to point that jesus or a fugure/person similar to jesus did exist. However, just bc this figure may have existed, it is not enough evidence to prove there is a god in my opinion, and so i do not believe in any god🤷‍♂️

Proof of god is by des cartes, even the most extreme doubter proved god. And other logical necessities proved there is a god.
Now try to determine which messages are from god.

The Black one, The White "Hollywood" one, The Jewish one, The Aramaic one, The Michelangelo one, or the spoiled brat from Luke (2:41–50) one, and many more?

The reality is no one really believes in Jesus - they only believe in an idealised vison of one, instead.

I suppose the Muslims have the only real belief in Jesus - i. e. he was a top bloke, who was not dealt with fairly.

There is evidence that Jesus Christ existed. Whether he was anything other than a man is open for discussion, and belief.

Growing up we were taught to pray a lot

Now I don't really believe in Jesus in heaven

But as a tiny dot in the universe I find myself reaching for that "god" in times of difficulty

I find it helpful/necessary
