because...
in my religion,
lord krishna once said [bhagvadgita] that to protect the dharma you shall choose to be right... it shouldn't matter how much loss it causes to you or the other one.

Trending & News I like your question very much. In this term, I would go as being kind rationally.
I remember when my professor giving me a situation about what will I do as a legal entity to a woman who being accused of stealing foods from a store? Of course the answer is punishing her by making her pay the damage to the owner. But when knowing the context why she choose to steal would make someone think twice. So Im going to ask you the question, is it right to punish her for stealing foods because she wants to feed her children? By law, it still wrong regardless the context (this show being right).
As we going through Human Revolution, what is right then, it may not be right now (killing is ok in certain era, but now its not right). And its going to be the same in future. What its right now, might not be right soon.
So in my humble opinion, kindness would always prevail when making judgement.
And doesn't matter what your religion is, I hope we have respect for each other belief.
? Being right does not equate to being unkind... so I am not sure if I get the question...
Being right in DIRECT relation to kindness OR two separate situations?
If situations are separate, me choosing between a person calling me for help and a person calling me for a debate, I will choose to help.
If being right is linked to being kind,,,,,,,, example, the person will be upset because I told them something right or did something right? And it is the correct time and a place.. like if the person questions me, they want to know but will not like the answer, .. then I will choose to be right.
Great and challenging question.
It depends on the situation, I go towards right, but sometimes right is being kind:) If you fight for right in every engagement, expect to fight a lot.
I respect that Lord Krishna fought for the women who were being abused against their will, freed them and restored their honor by marrying them. That's what a man should do, ignore the rules and do what is good and generous. That was right and kind.
Indian people going to take over the world. Now if they could get rid of that caste system, I think Krishna would...
It is better to tell the truth. I am not saying be a dick or a bitch about it but tell the truth or don't say anything at all. You know you have the right to remain silent. You don't have to say something.
But I will tell you this. If you tell the truth and don't give false complements then when you really do say something they will know you mean it.

That would severely depend on the situation and what we're talking about.
Nobody is right about everything, we're human, and we make mistakes or do wrong things. That's just how it is.
I don't back down from everything just to be kind, and I don't force my opinion on everything just to be right either. I don't do ultimates.
What is the subtext of this question is what I ask myself here?
in my opinion it's be honest or deceive the person. Even if it's well intentioned I believe personally this is wrong. I don't wear a red dot but I have a really unique bump with a hollow center where I see people from India wear. Not something I had done but was born with it.
"Always try to be nice but never fail to be kind." - The Doctor.
You have your Krishna, I've got my Time Lord. But at least I know mine is fiction.
Krishy also killed his cousins and did a lot of raping and murdering, kiddo.
Don't take the Gita literally - you'll lose every time.
lmao first of all,
all the killing's [mahabharat] was due to dharma... to protect dharma
he never raped anyone
and ur fake jesus isn't going to save you
I'd naturally choose to be kind but being right can also mean being kind because you would do the right thing.
Frankly, if your basing any decision on some irrelevant ancient book, chances are you're being neither right nor kind.
Be right. Kindness is fine but it's like wine, good in moderation so it means something, but too much causes harm and cheapens the experience
i don't choose to be right. either i am or i am not. kindness has nothing to do with that. if someone chooses to be offended, cause they're wrong, that's not my problem.
While kindness is important, I don't believe in bullshitting people.
Right.
who gaf about being kind, you do that too much, you be a bish
Kind, but often it is unkind to let someone believe a wrong thing.
I choose kindness. Because I live in reality as opposed to the fantasy world of ancient folklore and treating people like shit for the sake of being right doesn't win a lot of friends.
Being kind is always nice, being right can be dangerous. Even more so if you are wrong. I would consider everything first than make a move and make sure I am right
To be kind because if I’m kind then I won’t care when I’m wrong and people have to correct me
depends on the topic. kindness isn't the right choice in an important topic
a better question is would you rather be kind or good. good is always the answer
I’ll be right in the kindest way. But I will be honest instead of lying to spare feelings yk
depends on situation. try to be right but if necessary i will be kind too
i like to help people fell good
Be right.
I'm always right by the way
sometimes
I go with right.
Being right is kind.
Being kind
