The people who are known as Christians, get angry when I tell them a deeper interpretation of the bible. It's also called esoteric for a reason.

  I don't think they want the real truth. Seems to me that they really only want a sense of superiority. I've had deeper theological conversations with atheists than I've ever had with my 'fellow Christians'.
  
  Even something as simple as the importance of Christ saying "no one has ever seen God" is lost on most.
