Could someone tell me why homosexuals are not as accepted in Islam than in Christianity?

İf a people live homosexual relationship this is a sin for İslam. But ıf a people only feel homosexual but dont live a relationship this is not sin. He/she should work for changed this feel and save themselves of sin. Allah bless peoples. And if a people has sin but they want become clean before dead already Allah accept it.
