I will say I believe spirits & spirits do exist, because I've had a number of inexplicable experiences not just from myself but also from relatives.
When I was young I lived in a maisonette townhouse and shared a bedroom with my parents on the top 2nd floor of our home. It was one morning in December 87 just after Christmas and I was excited about playing with a new JVC ghettoblaster my family had bought me which was placed on the landing just outside the bedroom. Anyways I woke up around just before 8am and sneaked out to listen to it using my headphones. I was there for about half an hour when I heard and saw my dad in his white vest coming out of the room and walk down the stairs near me. I didn't think about it much and continued listening for like another 15-20 minutes. When I finished I opened the bedroom door and went back into the room (thinking I'd chat with my mum). To my surprise (and horror) I see my dad still lying asleep on the bed! My face went white as a sheet and seeing this my dad (who had just woken up) decided to comfort me. I told him what happened and he believed it. He also explained this to me. It was very possible that the 'person' I saw going downstairs was an apparition because it definitely wasn't him as he was in the bedroom all morning - and that somehow it was able to 'mimic' him. When I told him about it he also mentioned to me he actually did hear footsteps going down also!
Strange things happened in that house for sure when I lived there. Another time was an incident when we had a family friend staying in the house. One Saturday afternoon, I'd just come back from shopping, and not long afterwards the phone went off. My grandma was there and answered the phone. It was asking for our family friend, so she called for her in the house shouting up the stairs 'Sue, telephone!'. We heard a reply come down 'Yeah, coming!'. But we waited, and waited. After about 5 minutes of nobody turning up we decided to go up and investigate - and we found she wasn't there at all. In fact she'd gone out for the day! Real scary stuff.
It seems that belief in ghosts is even more widespread in much of Asia, where ghosts are characterized as neutral and can be appeased through rituals or angered if provoked (as opposed to our scarier depictions of ghosts in the West), according to Justin McDaniel, a professor of religious studies and director of the Penn Ghost Project at the University of Pennsylvania. If another culture's strike us as totally unfounded, let it serve only as a reminder that though the ghosts we believe in may be different, they are ghosts just the same. The estate is inevitably haunted by madmen, ghosts (13 ghosts), or some other form of deadly spirit.
I believe God exists and so do angels and fallen angels (demons). I don't believe people can come back from the dead as ghosts but that it's demons.
As for mythology - there's a bit of truth in it.
lol Christianity is mythology
@Subarugirl ignorance isn't always a bliss
@AndrésC64 I believe in angels and demons because of Bible. I believe in Bible because of some 10+ years of research I did on occultism. If you read it and are observant enough, you will see it tells the truth about our past, present and future. I believe in God because I searched for Him and experienced Him in my life, the Holy Bible is His word. Unfortunately I also experienced evil, but it has no place when you trust Lord Jesus. When you search for the truth, you will inevitably find God.
@AndrésC64 Why should she? You'll just dismiss it anyway.
@AndrésC64 everything that's worth anything takes time and work to obtain. If I lay out for you, something that took me so many years to research you will not be able to appreciate it anyways. Knowledge is precious precisely because it's difficult to obtain, especially occultic (hidden) knowledge. Why would I bother spending even more time and effort trying to prove it to you? Seriously, get off your high horse. If you're interested, research it for yourself. If you convince me that you're willing to put in the effort I can give you some places to look. Don't wait for someone to put it under your nose so you can criticize it without putting any effort at all into obtaining that information. Of course you can just stay ignorant, that's fine as well and most of people take that road because it's easy. Be like most people or not, it's up to you. What do I care if you live in truth or not? It's your eternity, not mine.
@AndrésC64 "You can lead a horse to water..."
@Subarugirl no, that’s wrong
@jengeorge26 the only difference between believing in the Christian god and the Nordic gods is the level of acceptance. Christianity basically stole all of its major beliefs from other religions. Where do you think Christmas came from, or Easter, or birthday parties?
@Subarugirl Christianity didn't steal anything, but I'm not surprised you think this way because it's very prevalent among atheists. I used to believe it too, but you only hurt yourself with your lack of knowledge. You confuse Catholicism with Christianity. Catholicism is paganism, similarly to Nordic, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Celtic etc gods and that's why all those religions have similar beliefs with changed names. But all those religions are pagan and are described in the Old Testament with their source in Ancient Babylon where they began with Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz. The existence of Catholicism is confusing because it teaches about God, Virgin Mary and Jesus in a way that makes them seem like, say Osiris, Isis and Horus (or whatever local names those pagan deities had). But that is only because ROMAN Catholicism was created in Rome to allow people to worship pagan gods under Christian names when in reality it had nothing to do with Christianity. Many people believe that Christianity stole those traditions from indigenous people or from those ancient civilizations... the reality is quite the opposite. It's pagans who adapted the Christian names for what are STILL pagan traditions and beliefs. That means that a large portion of the society even those who consider themselves Christian (Catholics) know very little about what Christianity actually is... the don't read the Bible. But the ONLY source of knowledge on God and Lord Jesus Christ is the Holy Bible. So until you study the Bible you don't know much (if anything) about Christianity and when you say such things it really shows. You've been deceived because you only look at the surface. Bible Christians don't celebrate Christmas and they certainly don't celebrate Easter (research the origin of these holidays, you'll be shocked), neither do we consider Virgin Mary to be a deity like Catholicism does to make it fit the pagan trinity of "Sun God - Female Goddess - Sun God Reborn".
Well that is your first mistake, I am not an atheist. The grand majority of Christians celebrate pagan rooted holidays such as Christmas and Easter, those who do not are the minority. I grew up in a very Conservative Christian household where my father would spend about a half hour reading the Bible to us every morning. I read the Bible cover cover twice before I graduated form a Christian high school where a Bible class was required every year for all students. I have done reports on the origins of both Easter and Christmas, so thank you but am very aware of the origins hon. What I have learned is that the Bible has been heavily doctors and miss translated over hundreds of years. That there are inconsistencies all the way though and if you fail to recognize that than you aren’t as well versed as you claim to be.
@Subarugirl then you have no excuse not to know... and as I said, you only hurt yourself in the end. Still, true Christians do not celebrate Christmas or Easter.
I believe that, when you keep a pure heart and believe in god. That'd be enough in my opinion. I can't imagine that god gave us a life so we can serve him on earth by participating in religious events frequently. God is the most beautiful being to ever exist. God wants you to be happy, live your life and have freedom. Everyone is doing sins and god is aware of everything and probably knew since the existence
I know the Bible is drenched in the blood of the innocent and is full of inconsistencies, thanks but I’d rather not submit to and worship an abusive, manipulative, narcissistic, bloodthirsty, deity, obsessed with oppressing women and mutilating the genitalia of infant males. But you do you. It’s ironic how “Christian’s” are some of the most hatful and judgmental people I have ever meant despite their instruction to be kind and loving…
@denizlikestennis We have free will... to sin or not to sin, but not to decide what is a sin, that's up to God. But you're right, rituals don't mean anything because we're saved by God's Grace, not by our works. None of us "deserves" to go to heaven because only God is good, there is no such thing as a good person because not a single person in the world is or was capable of following the Law from Old Testament their entire life. We're all sinners. And God's only requirements in New Testament are that we love Him more than anything, with all our hearts and that we love our neighbours like ourselves. And that we repent for our sins instead of excusing them. If we follow those then naturally we won't do things that upset the Lord or other people. And participating in pagan rituals such as Christmas and Easter upsets God, he doesn't want anything to do with paganism... these pagan rituals have a bloody history and origin. There's only one ritual that the Bible asks us to observe and it's the Passover (at the same time as the Jewish holiday but Christians should then remember about Christ's sacrifice and resurrection that took place at the same time - so not at the time of Easter).
Lol and the Bible doesn’t have a bloody history? Right lol
I don't believe mythology, but I do believe that ghosts are real (because they are).
@AndrésC64 The overwhelming evidence for their existence, among other things.
@AndrésC64 Try driving a Tesla through a cemetery, and you'll see them pop up all over the place.
@AndrésC64 Haven't you heard? That collision-avoidance feature that Tesla cars have can detect people who aren't there physically. Look into it, it's true.
@AndrésC64 Oh, is that what it is? A "glitch"? No, I don't think so! Funny how these "glitches" seem to make themselves known in places where one would expect to see dead people (like graveyards). Oh, but that's just "coincidence" of course. LOL
Can You Fix Tesla Ghost Glitch?
As of the moment, there's now an actual fix for the Tesla Ghost glitch. But, you can go to the nearest Tesla service center so staff can check your vehicles for faulty camera sensors.
On the other hand, you can also reboot your Tesla software autopilot. For Model X and Model S vehicles, Find My Electric reported that drivers need to do is press and hold both scroll wheels on their EV's steering wheel.
After that, wait for your car's touchscreen display to turn off. It will automatically refresh after a few seconds. If you want to see further details on how to reboot or restart your Tesla autopilot software, you can visit this link.

Interesting how fixing a bug in the software suddenly makes these ghosts disappear.🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
@AndrésC64 Now you're pathetically attempting to change the topic. No, I don't believe the Earth to be flat. Do you?
Look, you asked us if we believed in either mythology or ghosts. Did you want sincere answers or not? Why bother asking if you chuck a hissy-fit whenever someone disagrees with you, or gives answers that trigger you?
@AndrésC64 Your linked article doesn't give any reasons for why a "glitch" may be occurring, why they think it's just a "glitch" and not real ghosts, nor does it give any explanation for why the "glitch" in question seems to be at its worst when the car is taken to a cemetery. Nice try, but you fail here. I give you a big fat F for effort.
@AndrésC64 That's just it; I'm not deluded, but you most certainly are rude, arrogant, and just plain wrong. Why can't you admit that?

I lived over 6 months with it after exgirlfriend and her friend used a psychic circle and summoned a spirit and didn’t release it. The good part was my ex’s mother had a bad experience and would not come back to our place and I had let it slip to a friend I worked with on a window crew where we would go to peoples homes and businesses and clean their windows. Our crew was 12 guys. My friend told everyone I worked with about the spirt in my mobile home. When Halloween rolled around the teasing was horrible going to peoples homes with Halloween decorations in their windows. I was finally able to move and my friend moved into my place. The next day after he moved in. He took me aside at work and apologized for the teasing and apologized again lol. He said something was hitting the underside of his bedroom floor hard enough to make his bed jump off the floor. The hallway light kept turning on and off along with footsteps up and down the hallway along with pounding on the front door lol. Makes you kind want to be careful who you tease……….. lol NOT!!!
I rather belive in those, than in Bible/God, etc... when i was young i used to be told if... i don't finish my plate, angels will get mad at me, if i don't say my pray before bed, God will be sad at me etc, etc... Soon as i had Grown, i realised that the "bible" has been written by humans, when one of my friends have died quite young age at 14, God wasn't there to Help him out, and many other things... But when i encountered a "force" in an abandoned house, and i have been literally beaten with a piece of wood, i belived that! Look at today's issues... Climate chage, Viruses, Rich getting richer, poor getting poorer, War... i'm wondering... WHERE IS GOD NOW? Annoys me when i hear on the street... Jesus is coming, Jesus is King, Jesus Love's you, and he will take you with Him in Heaven... Really? He is coming since 2000 years ago, and still not here... So Religion for me is just A Brainwashing System, same like TV, and Indoctrination of the mentally poor...
No. Its not a myth if its something you feeling is true.. I narrowly escaped countless times that would have left me dead or severely injured... I've seen them, or maybe they were angels in the middle of a vehicle accident, 3500 Dually tboned the S10 I was driving. Right before I seen just the grill of the truck through the driver window, then a dream of some weird shit, in the end, the truck got scraped down the side and fender popout is what destroyed the front end. I can't explain how or what I saw but I know that truck wasn't moved by its driver... When you think your senses are playing games, thats how you know they are close...
Do i believe in myths as they were written or spoken? Generally not. Many ancient myths have been more or less correlated to natural phenomena that we expect ancient people didn’t fully understand. I do believe in many of those explanations. In cases in which our modern explanations seem as ridiculous as the original myth or legend, i’m quite comfortable believing the original story until a superior explanation is developed. For good reason. Long story short: the giant squid debate. If you don’t know it, i’ll share but this response is already pretty long! Ell oh ell!
I also believe in paranormal explanations of contemporary phenomena that practical sciences have repeatedly failed to explain or explain very poorly. I have personal experience and anecdotal evidence that defies my own natural skepticism to boot.
The creepiest thing I have heard of recent was on a podcast, about a year before Sharon Tate was killed by the Manson family in the Hollywood Hills she was living in Jean Harlows old house with Jay Sebring, one night she was restless and trying to sleep, and was on her own, anyway in a interview she told a journalist she had either a vision of either her or Sebrings death, in a bizarre supernatural experience. The house that she said was most definitely haunted, many people died in this place, Jean Harlows husband supposedly commited suicide in it.
I used to live on Long Beach Island, NJ growing up you used to have to go through a section of the the quote Pine Barrens on route 72 which was about 20 - 30 miles of nothing. When I got back after serving 18 years in the military the last 8 years in the middle east. I would wake up in a cold sweat Yelling, barking out oders just as we were about to be Overrun, we were Overrun and suffered heavy casualties they Never took OUR POSITION DOWN RANGE My recurring nightmare is that an almost white demon is chasing me through the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, No matter what I do I cannot escape the demon I take my kevlar off and go inside compound removing kevlar as demon approaches. It approaches and tries to fight through and becomes impaled through the throat hanging through throat just screaming my name just then I wake up in a cold sweat yelling. I didn't know what it means
I believe that people strongly believe there are ghosts.
That thing you heard go bump in your basement? Definitely not a pipe or your water heater refilling, it was absolutely the spirit of someone who died there 500 years ago, physically manifesting itself in your house and smacking walls just to fuck with you
mythology exists. mythology as in legends and stories. obviously those exists as fiction that people tell each other.
but they don't physically exists. and spirits/ghosts are simply some bullshit that came out of people not understanding how air interacts with the human body. i can go a bit more into the ancient ignorance that lead into people thinking there's some sort of otherordly entities that exist outside of what we can experience.
Yes, but only in a very specific context. Ghosts/spirits don’t just appear once someone dies. They probably have to have something that’s keeping them on earth and refraining them from passing on fully. That makes the most sense to me as opposed to the world being overrun with spirits and ghosts from throughout history.
I'm Muslim so I do believe in spirits but mythology is just some fun and cruel tales for me.
Interesting! You must know so much stuff then. I can confirm that I do believe in spirits too.
I vote A but I think that there are things in the universe that humans cannot perceive with their sensory apparatus. Sometimes conditions happen when people get a glimpse of something they cannot explain.
I don't believe in mythology or ghosts/spirits but I do believe that there are demons. We just can't see them and like us they have free will and can be good or bad.
This is my belief.
Only Clash Demons can be good, even still most aren’t. Original demons already had their chance and once were good but then chose to transform. Do you even know how they came to be?
@Dinosaursandanime65 They were created.
Well sort of
Ghosts / spirits are actually just evil angels trying to scare you. They aren’t peoples souls stuck in pergatory or something from another dimension. People die, they just die. Their is nothing. They cannot become ghosts. They do not go to heaven or hell. It’s just nothingness until the 2nd coming.
I've had a few odd experiences in my life that have affirmed my already existing belief that there is more to the world than what our 5 senses tell us. I do not know how "correct" the average interpretation is though.
There are too many reports of extrasensory activity... you gotta at least consider the possibility of spirits and ghosts
I’ve had too many encounters not to believe in it lol.
Well kind of. They kind of take form of negative energy
I believe in ghosts. I saw ghost face to face when I was a kid, I swear.
I do not but I do believe there are spirit beings. And some are demonic in nature.
Mythology certainly exists. Ghosts and spirits and the like do not. I weep for humans if the second meaning is what you were trying to get at.
