Is the Jewish demographic small in Canada?

I only had two classmates in school which were obviously Jewish but I studied humanities and I think there might be fewer Jewish people in those classes. I met a lot of Hindus and Muslims and Christians but not a lot of Jewish people.

Stats say Canada's population is a little over 38 million. Of that about 400,000 are Jewish according to a recent survey.
