I know a lot of racist people that God has punished during the pandemic. Some suffer extreme physical pain and others get life threatening health conditions. I also know at least one that was fired from their job. I’m lucky God protects me because I make mistakes but I try to change and improve.

No. I believe God is a security blanket. I think that the Bible portrays him as self-righteous hypocritical and a narcissist..
He is self righteous because he demands that people bow down to him,
He's hypocritical because he used magic black magic mind you to create Adam and Eve yet tells people that if we used magic were devil worshipers and we'll go to hell..
And he's a narcissist because again he demands that people bow down to him..
Let me ask you something when you're short on money and can't pay the last $20 of your rent or you can't buy enough groceries or medicine or even you're out in public you see somebody crazy and you get down on your knees and you pray "God please help me".. is that all you do? do you just stay there and keep praying? Or do you get up and go to work so that you can make the money or do you go out and sell something of yours so that you can get that extra few dollars in cash?
And when something bad happens to you if a prayer isn't answered do you ever question him on why? Does he answer you? Why is it that when something good happens it's because of God and he gets all the credit but when you ask God to help you and he doesn't help you then bad things happen and it's the devil's fault? How come you're God demands that you take accountability for your actions and your inactions, yet he doesn't do the same thing?
Many of people were here before him and many of people have been here after him how come he's the only one who gets to claim that he's dying for all of humanity and nobody else is allowed to? Isn't that what cult leaders saying do?
I'm not an atheist I'm not a devil worshiper I don't practice voodoo or witchcraft or anything of the sorts.. I absolutely believe in the spirit of Earth and I absolutely believe that we got here somehow. But I don't believe that there is one person who deserves all of the credit for the good things while having a scapegoat who takes all the blame for all of the bad things.10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI believe God works in our hearts if we listen but doesn't interfere in the physical world. If we get sick through disease, posion or genetic disorders that's either chance or as a result of human action. If a drunk driver hits you its not God punishing you, its a reckless driver who got intoxicated and made a bad choice.
Certainly a lot of racist people suffered in the pandemic, got sick, lost their jobs maybe died but that's not the punishment of God. There's probably more good people who suffered during the pandemic than racist people.
The belief that people born disabled were being punished by God used to be prevalent in Christianity.
God neither protects nor abandons his followers and the wicked are not punished by God in this world. In this world often the wicked punish themselves by their actions and feel real world consequences. In Nigeria right now where Christians are being attacked, persecuted and murdered is God turning a blind eye to their plight or is the actions of wicked men with hate in their heart that is responsible for the evil they suffer?
It's humanity that perpatrates most evils in this world and the righteous Christian must protect themselves, their families and others from them. Plagues, wars and natural disasters are nothing new so we must be peppered for such adversity. I know so many people who don't own a single gun or prep for whatever natural disaster or nationwide crisis comes their way just relying on the government. That's blizzards, hurricanes, tsunamis, tornados, wildfire, drought, heatwaves, floods, earthquakes, solar flares, solar flare, civil unrest, terrorism, pandemic, posion gas, food shortage, rolling blackouts, economic collapse, inflation, gas shortage etc any myriad of possible disasters thar often depending on where you live should be prepped for.
I lost my job during the pandemic but was able to survive quite comfortably why? Because I had prepared. I owned my own home, I had savings, I had prepped food stores, I hunted, I fished, I grew my own vegetables,, I have two generators, I had solar panels on the roof and a heap of battery storage devices so I wasn't relying on the energy companies. I had guns so was able to defend my family when the time came. We ate well during the pandemic when some of out neighbours were losing their jobs& homes.
The rain falls on the just and unjust alike.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/7FTv06szcW0Check this woman out on Doomsday Preppers. She prepped for a pandemic a decade before covid hit. Everyone said she was crazy, but if anyone can say I told you so it's her.

+1 yI don't think it's god punishing them, after all a lot of good people caught the virus and had complications too.
BUT the reason your seeing so many racists catch it is because rightwingers tend to be anti vaxxers or just plain deny the virus exists20 Reply God is testing us. If he wishes, he will protect, if he wishes, he will not. But there is something good in the bad. Thousands of people died because of Corona, but the survivors learned from it and paid more attention to cleanliness. This is a sign that God is testing us.

+1 yYeah, I do. He doesn't make everyone's lives great all the time but he knows what he's doing, he cares for us all the best he can. I sometimes wonder about it, of what he thinks when he sees so much suffering in the world.

+1 yGod is a father to me. And I really do think he influenced me to stay away from evil a lot more frequent. I’m sinful and sorry a lot though. But I love him and he loves me. I’m only 14 and considering taking Holy Orders!
245 Reply- +1 y
If he's a father to you, then I really do feel sad for you. Seriously. What kind of a father does the things that this God does? Murdering children? Murdering nearly everyone on the planet? Sending bears to tear apart children? Standing by and watching as his children by the millions are tortured? Really? That's the kind of father you want?
- +1 y
@AndrésC64. God is isn’t killing children because he can. He kills them so that they have everlasting life, or saving someone from a horrible life, or got somebody’s attention to him. Besides death isn’t a bad thing. Depends on your life on earth if you die or not.
- +1 y
LMAO!" He's killing them so they can have everlasting life." 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
So when he killed the firstborn of Egypt, he was only doing that so that they could have everlasting life? When he drowned and nearly every single thing on the planet, including virtually every animal, men, women, children, infants, unborn, etc he was doing that so that they could have everlasting life? When he watches someone get murdered he's doing that so that they can have everlasting life? When he watches people suffer starvation, disease, torture, etc He's doing all of that so that these people can have everlasting life? You think that putting people in a situation in which they are being tortured starved, have a disease, raped, etc and then removing them from that situation somehow makes him a good guy? You have a seriously twisted view on things. - +1 y
@AndrésC64 if you read the whole thing it ALSO says to change somebody’s life (the pharaoh). It changed his mind to set the people of Israel free with Moses.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 he does this to change or to redirect there lives to him.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 if you talk to your pastor (if he exists) or priest or monsignor you would know about this.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 stop arguing with me because you don’t own a purpose I do.
- +1 y
You honestly don’t have a point on me.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 it’s called divine providence nit wit
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 This isn’t your suit so shut up!
- +1 y
Ooohhhh... Okay. So murder is divine providence. Cool. You're just like every other Christian on the planet. Why am I not surprised? Anything that goes right and you give credit to God. Anything that goes wrong and somehow God isn't responsible then.
This isn't my suit? What the hell does that mean? And no, I won't shut up. If you don't want to hear what I have to say, don't read it. It's very simple, kind of like you. - +1 y
@AndrésC64 murder is human choice. Also created by Satan himself. God then sees this as any opportunity to get attention from a VERY VERY VERY sinful human and changes them so that the have everlasting life IN HEAVEN instead of spiritual death AKA HELL
- +1 y
Again, typical Christian reasoning
"Do as I say, not as I do."
"Might makes right."
"I brought you into this world and I can take you out."
Such good qualities for a leader.
And no, murder was not created by Satan. Satan was created by God, therefore God created murder. God could stop murder with less effort than a blink of an eye, but he chooses not to. He chooses to let murder, rape, torture, disease, famine, war, etc continue. Again, he could stop it, but he chooses not to.
And why resort to murder, rape, torture, disease, famine, war in order to get our attention, when he could simply get his ass down here and introduce himself to everyone? Why do we not get proof of his existence until we are dead and meet him face to face at which point it is too late? Why give evidence when it's too late? You really haven't thought this through very well, have you? I mean especially for someone who's as knowledgeable about this as you want to appear. - +1 y
@AndrésC64 by the looks of it you don’t have salvation with the lord.
If you are so bothered by Christians than “murder” (you call it) them. - +1 y
@AndrésC64 I’ll see you in court and maybe Hell.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 murder was created by Satan not Murderers
- +1 y
God didn’t make Satan. God made Lucifer. Which means “lighter bearer.” Lucifer was supposed to be the best angel and he was. God gave him free will just like you and me. Got loved us more the Lucifer. He didn’t like it (jealous). He left God. He then got the name Satan. He choose to hate everything no he is the head of Hell. Hell is a fiery furnace where people suffer their decision on earth. Your decision on earth reflects to afterlife. People have psychics to tell about the afterlife. Satan also wants you to hate me. Even though your against God and I both love you.
- +1 y
Lucifer is still a light bearer because he set the example of everlasting death which isn’t the best and you know that. But, It looks like you don’t care. Jesus will judge you by the way spread his word. Because you are denouncing Catholicism. I would think that you won’t have a good time. Up there.
- +1 y
I’m done talking to you because God will give you his final judgement when your physical form is dead.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 coal gives warmth I wouldn’t care if I got a coal
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 your not reading the passages I’m sending. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND. I’m trying to prevent you from going to Hell. You’ve at least rejected God five times while you’re talking to me.
- +1 y
No, you do not understand. I am just as worried about your God and your hell as you are about Santa Claus and coal. In other words, not at all. And I guarantee you I that I have rejected your God more times than you can count and I'll do it many more times. I'm not in the least bit worried. I've even blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Do I seem worried? What reason should I have to believe in the existence of your invisible friend in the first place?
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 you shouldn’t be here if that’s what you think. What’s the point of you being here just to say that you don’t believe. You’re only protesting. Atheist like you I find annoying sometimes right now I’m just trying to point out a point. Which obviously isn’t working seeing as you don’t like to listen at all. I’m sorry you might have had a miserable life when you were younger but just because you had a bad life doesn’t mean you can affect others like me. Jesus told us to spread the word not to denounce it like you’re doing. I am not the judge of you he is and when it comes to the final judgement you will probably be sorry. Right now you are not you are full of hate right now. I’ll pray for you even though you probably want to join Satan. God will grab your attention and save you before it’s to late. Goodbye
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 And yes this is why I do think of my father and my God. He is holy, perfect, forgiving, loving, and all knowing. This is the type of father that I have. I’m not too sure what type of father you have.
- +1 y
I shouldn't be where? What's The point of you being here just to say that you do believe? You're only preaching. Theists like you I find annoying because you refuse to look at things logically. Which obviously isn't working and because you didn't use logic to get yourself into this belief so trying to use logic to get you out of it is really kind of pointless. But I enjoy the game.
And again with the old typical Christian BS that you think something happened to me when I was younger therefore I mad your God. Are you mad at Zeus? Brahma? And I couldn't care less what Jesus said. He wasn't magic, unless of course you've got some evidence that no one in the world has ever been able to produce yet. Do you have that evidence? Right now you are deluded. And again with the delusional theist BS. How the fuck could I want to join something that I don't believe in? Are you really that stupid? And how do you know that God will grab my attention? Do you know God's mind? Of course you don't. You're pulling all of this stuff out of your a$$. - +1 y
@AndrésC64 first of all, do you literally just copied and paste my paragraph and edit it to atheists way instead I am pulling swearwords into the situation is not gonna change my mind either.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 when you say typical Christian that isn’t me I am far from any normal Christian. A normal Christian just believes in Jesus. Deepest you can go into being the Christian life, is being a Christian Catholic. Which is the strongest suit or the strongest area to be in. This isn’t your suit, because you are way out of line in this zone. There is no point of you protesting against us.
- +1 y
No, I didn't copy and paste. I simply reworded to show how silly your argument is. "I am far from any normal Christian.", says every Christian. And guess what genius? I was raised Catholic.
Still waiting for any reason whatsoever to believe in the existence of your invisible friend. Do you have any? - +1 y
@AndrésC64 how old are there millions of saints. How do people have visions ones are getting anointed by a priest. Why do you psychics have visions of demons and angels battling over a Chapel.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 How are you raised Catholic and act like this. This kind of reminds me of Lucifer rejecting God.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 It is a natural cause to be killed isn’t a natural cause to be murdered. He doesn’t stand by and watch us to be tortured. He wants us to join him to have peace in heaven rather than everlasting spiritual death and hell.
- +1 y
Except I haven't seen your invisible friend face to face. And if your invisible friend is so impressive, how is it that nearly 1/3 of the Angels told him to fuck off? Didn't your omniscient god see this coming? Why didn't he do something to stop it? Why does he allow those fallen angels to continue to rain havoc upon his children? Why does he punish his children for falling victim to his creation?
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 in this sense that you have put it yes God does watch us get tortured us get casted into hell why, because he gave us so many chances on earth to redeem ourselves to him and we said no every single time, like what you’re doing right now.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 He will be sad but he wouldn’t care because you don’t care.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 I will no longer answer your rampaging because this is pointless the several points that I have made and the several points that you haven’t made aren’t working. Goodbye
- +1 y
You will no longer answer my questions? And when did you answer them in the first place? And what points do you think you have made? And what points do you "think" that I've made that aren't working? You sure like to make a lot of claims without anything to back them up.
But that's the typical Christian.
GOD guards his people because I know how he has provided and protected us from the first day in the year 2022 till this time even if I know that many people have died ( eg. my course mate that died last week Friday) but he has been so faithful to us by keeping us alive to see this brand new day.
Thank you very much.
Always remember that there is a GOD that sees in the darkest place.

+1 yNot really. I will say many things for me have happened that seemed incredibly lucky but to look upon all the tragedies that have befallen others I believe free will trumps that. Who knows though
21 Reply
+1 ySo here’s a question for you that I want you to take a minute and think about instead of answering right away: where does God’s provision for humans to act out their free will intersect with his claim to punish the wicked?
011 Reply- +1 y
I would describe that as a horse or camel - the camel can run a long time but eventually it will need to eat and drink and if it is not given provision it dies. Wickedness is the same way, it might be prolonged but it’s not eternal.
- +1 y
So we have the freedom to choose good or evil, but if we make the choice he doesn’t like we’re going to get struck by lightning and then spend eternity on fire? What manner of freedom or choice is that?
- +1 y
God gave us free will because He wants us to choose what is good, not because he wants to punish us for what is chosen in poor judgment

What, other than embarrassing the one making them, is the point of making threats in an essentially anonymous online forum where anybody could be anywhere on the planet?

Is he looking after the little girl who's being raped right now? What about the little boy who's watching his drunk father beat his mother? How about the child dying of some horrible disease? The child dying of starvation? The person being tortured? The people living in a war zone? The mother being ripped away from her child for slave labor?
You called that looking after his people? - +1 y
@AndrésC64 you to go to a Catholic Church
- +1 y
I already told you, I was raised Catholic. What does that have to do with anything that I said?
Is he looking after the little girl who's being raped right now? What about the little boy who's watching his drunk father beat his mother? How about the child dying of some horrible disease? 07 Reply- +1 y
@AndrésC64 You asked if God protects his people. I explained God allows His own to be tested. What do you not understand about it?
- +1 y
So you think giving a child a deadly cancer is a test for him? Why would a child need to suffer a deadly disease when your omnipotent God already knows the answer to that test? Why would a woman need to be raped as a test? Doesn't God already know the outcome of that test? Kind of sadistic being would torture or allow to be tortured his children under any circumstances? Would you do that? Under what circumstances would you torture or allow your children to be tortured?
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 No one is asking you to believe anything, as it is clear to me you are an atheist. You don't seem to understand that God is not responsible for our problems, such as global warming. That is on us, and we have polluted our planet and destroying it, not God. It is the powerful and rich you can blame as they are responsible for the policies, not God.
- +1 y
Cool. Now would you like to answer my questions? How do you think giving a child a deadly cancer is a test? Wouldn't your God already know the answer to that test? Why do it in the first place? How is a woman getting raped a test? Didn't God already know the answer to that test also? He dislikes to watch people go through shit that they didn't have to.
- +1 y
@AndrésC64 Are you sane? I just told you God does not give people cancer. But you are more mouth than ears apparently. If you want to blame God for everything, be my guest. You seem to excuse man for all the chemicals in our food and water, which is what gives people cancer.
God is the almighty he guards his children all through the day..

What about the little 3-year-olds that are being sold and married and raped? How about the ones with disabilities who don't understand what's going on around them that are being abused beaten and raped? Why does he get to choose which ones of his children he'll protect and which ones of them that he won't? All children are innocent right? they don't understand.. so what makes a 3-year-old from the Johnson's family any different from the 3-year-old in the Richardson's family? (Those were just general names nobody in particular) how come the Richardson 3-year-old was beaten tortured raped and murdered but the little Johnson's 3-year-old wasn't? On what grounds did God stand when he decided which one of the three-year-olds was going to go through such a horrific thing?
- +1 y
Why would God only protect one and let the devil get a hold of the other one? But again more importantly what scale does God use when choosing who is and isn't going to go through such a traumatic event whether it be rape torture beating kidnapping getting lost whatever the case may be.. I have four children not once have I ever played favorites not once have I ever been able to even consider allowing one or two of them to go through something horrific while protecting the other two.. as a parent you don't do that you protect all of your children so what's God's problem?
God allowed the Romans to feed his followers to the lions. He will protect your immortal soul but he couldn't care less what happens to your body. He had his own son crucified.

And did did your invisible friend not know that they were going to do this before he created them? He had to know or else he isn't omniscient. So why did he create people that he knew he was going to have to destroy? Why not simply skip all that BS? Why go through the trouble of drowning them and why have them go through the pain and suffering of drowning?

@SnoopBean9110 In interest, neither have you, all the miracles that you claim your "god" has done, were done by the hand of another human, the skill they put in to only be revered as a miracle from "god" must have been a massive insult to them.
And those ones that are too outlandish to be proven were probably just made up, but you don't question that, you're just filled with blind faith and nothing I will say will stop you from doing that.
My life is actually fine when I want it to be, the only reason why some days im angrier than others is because the world is filled with annoying, stupid things that were oddly created by other humans, your god on another hand is as insignificant to me as an ant. - +1 y
