My pastor said God protects those who do His will, do you agree?

I can't lose weight cause my dad will not let me eat a keto diet. When I used to eat keto, I lost 30 pounds in one month. But my pastor says God will bless you if you obey the Ten Commandments, even if it seems like God is cursing you for it.

What did he mean by “protects?” What scripture or longstanding tradition did he base this upon? Bad things can happen to good people. Consider the story of Job.

Here's your divine intervention. Look up the dr mcdougall diet. And watch the documentary, what the health.

It works just as well as the Atkins, only its actually good for you. I have friends who did this diet and totally turned their lives around.

One friend had diabetes and has been consistently lowering his blood sugar this way, another person fixed their over eating problem because you don't feel hungry when you do this diet.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure out of those two diets, this one is leaps and bounds more in line with adhering to Christian teachings.

Try it for 2 weeks and I bet you'll already be feeling overall much better mentally and physically.

Everyone on earth is a sinner. We are all sinners that was why he brought his son our Saviour to come die for us in purification of our sins. When we ask for forgiveness, we will be forgiven. God protect everyone no matter who you are, we are all his sons and daughter because his ways are different from the ways of man. In all of this, God still have a special hearth for those who abide to his will and do his will. If we want to be among those that will make God happy, we must abide to his words and do his will. That doesn't mean we won't die, although God didn't wish for us to die but the system that man later found himself after going against the advice of God in the garden of Eden made man that way. God loves his own and if you want God to help you in all your ways, you will have to show him love in reciprocation.

Physically protect? No. In John 16, Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulation." Stephen, Paul, Peter, etc. did God's will and were martyred.
