Feeling bored so you felt like smearing organized religion a bit, eh? Fucking atheists. All you do is piss and moan about religion converting people by trying to—wait for it—convert people.
Real fucking enlightened. Don’t be in that club—those guys are dogmatic and accept things on faith—not like us free thinkers... who are also dogmatic and accept things on faith. 🙄
Good question! It's because lying in court is called perjury, which is a criminal offence. If you're not in court you can lie your head off, just ask Mr. Giuliani.

"It's accepted for making money, ..." By whom?
Reports like the headline you linked "Cold case..." are not true. There has never been a verified report of a cold criminal case being solved by paranormal investigation.
That is a good question actually I’m not sure maybe because there is a separation between church and state but in a sense one could use the idea of demons to say I was possessed therefore I did this crime. But I honestly have no idea
@slatyb Not necessarily although I could see how you might think so. An inability to assist counsel or a complete lack of knowledge regarding court functioning would be enough generally for a finding of incompetence to stand trial, but sometimes not enough to impair living independently. I do these kinds of evaluations.
