In the parable of the rich man, what kind of death did the man die after he attained his wealth?

I think it might be a symbol for spiritual death because I know many rich people who are alive physically but not alive spiritually or morally, Mohamed Bin Salman is an example of somebody with a living body and an empty heart.

The flesh is always at war with the spirit Galatians 5:17 "For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do".; remember Mark 10:25, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Romans 8:13 "For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live". Romans 8:6 "For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace". Romans 8:7 "For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot".

I could go on for a longtime but will stop here as it's getting rather long. What I learned was Jesus chose to love = sacrifice for others & not his own benefit so if a Christian is a good Christian how can this be if they serve themselves? = rich?

There wasn't supposed to be any specifics on how he died. The point Jesus was making was that once you die, you can't take it with you. And that all this time on earth, you're being concerned about worldly riches and image, all the while neglecting your soul.

We don't need to know how the rich man died, and I for one am not interested in worldly fame, mansions, owning multiple cars, etc.

he can't get into heaven with his ill-gotten gains, so yeah its his spiritual death that's what i understand :)
