Do you believe in reincarnation?

I'm wondering if a psychological sick person would die, would he be still psychological sick or has got mental health when he gets reincarnated?

I don't think it matters, if I got one life I should do the best with it as I can, if I have multiple, I should do the same. If you believe in the bew age stuff and their wishful think is that you choose your life, which is pure bullock, if you really accumulated knowledge you would need retain the knowledge of what the point and goals of this life would be. I think life is as simple as it seems, you are a unique combination, that will stop existing. What remains will be reused but that will not be a new you.

When you die, you go to heaven or hell, you can go in to purgatory till god decides what to do with you in some cases but most of the time you go to heaven if you’re good hell if your horrible, reincarnation I believe is from the Indian beliefs they believe that you are reincarnated as an animal or a higher being depending on how good you were in life.


I believe that when you die you go to heaven and you get a new body and are made whole again no pain or suffering you live with god and Jesus and your family and friends in paradise.

No, the Bible makes it clear that once you die you won't be back, but will be resurrected for judgment. People don't want to believe that so they prefer to think they may come back as a Rugulan Blood Worm, or Denevian Slime Devil.

From whatever I have read and heard from MY religion, I don't think he will have the same condition of health. In fact it is also written that we will be brought back in a new physical form... there is no reason to believe it will not be a human form. When I was reading the scholars' commentary,. It said the indication seems like we will get our own makeover as if we got younger.

One thing I have heard but have not been able to certify to pass forward is that we will be woken up while doing roughy the same deed that we were doing when dying. The idea being, i we were in a condition of sinful act while dying, we will be doing the same when woken up so better avoid being in that situation. I really need some research on this.

Reincarnation is an absolute fact in nature. Problem is there’s not much natural about how we handle dead people these days. There’s no guarantee you’ll come back as a human though. Some would argue it’s highly unlikely while others might say it’s impossible.

I don't even know why I would pretend to answer it correctly but from what I gathered from my very little knowledge on this stuff is it's a completely clean slate. No disease of any kind will be carried over and that includes mental illness and/or mental disease.

I am 100% convinced that I was a sea creature in my last life. Not because I have any concrete memories or because I have the "soul of a whale" or anything silly like that, but because I've had a memory of being in a murky pool of water for as long as I've been alive. It's a consistent memory and I don't remember any of my limbs being there or anything beyond particles in the water.

All that is left after death is electricity. Something that cannot die. Whether or not that electricity has a form of intelligence still attached is the question. But any physical illness would be left to rot with the old hosting body.

I do believe in reincarnation but I also believe it works along with karma, whatever you do in this life affects your life in the next and so on. So no I don't think someone will have mental issues in the next life because of having it currently. That being said I don't want to be reincarnated, this life was already fucking shit, I am sure someone out there is purposefully making my life suck and the next one will most likely to be worse.

You believe in half the Bible? That's strange in itself, isn't it? I am not knocking it. Believe as much or as little as you want. I would just think it would be strange to decide half the book is bullshit and the other half is not. Isn't that how new religions are born throughout history? Like I said, enjoy or believe anything you want. Either way it has no effect on my life. But while we are at it, just so you are aware, there is about the same amount of evidence for the Bible being true historical accounts of what actually happened and reincarnation being real. And that evidence is none. I'm pretty sure the have proven Jesus was a real man but no evidence found for anything the Bible says he did. I believe throughout history people have forgotten the whole purpose of the Bible and got it's origin all twisted. When the Bible was written the world was in an extremely dark era. It was extremely violent. It was just dark. I believe the Bible was written to give people hope. To give people a reason to be good to one another. To love instead of kill. The teachings in that book are timeless. It's something that could be taught throughout the books history that never lost it's importance. Overtime the books followers became so obsessed with it's teachings that after a couple generations they just understood to be nonfiction.

@slatyb man, Jurassic park has a lot of times in the book with ordinary actions. Ordinary actions don't make a book non fiction. I don't know if I was ever clear on my view of the Bible. I can't say I actually believe any of it. I do think it has a purpose. That purpose has nothing to do with anything that should be considered nonfiction. I don't think people should look at this book like they were actually events because it's just like you said a huge portion is mythological. And the other half has all sorts of incidents that have never been recorded since in any way. I don't think a man can part the seas. I don't think someone can turn water into wine. I don't think anyone has ever walked on water. These all sound like Vegas magic tricks. It sounds like it was written to raise people's spirits when not too many other things would. But when it comes down to hard facts and evidence, reincarnation and the Bible share the same amount. And that's zero no actual evidence either one exist. In more recent times that have definitely been recorded I would actually say reincarnation has came a lot closer with strange phenomenons. Kids claiming to have died 3 hundred years prior and can give names and how they died. And from what I watched these two kids had stories that actually matched up with people that did die during the times they said and cause of death even matched up. But it's something I watched and I don't know what these kids were coached to say off camera. I just don't know how much was horse shit. I always have my doubts but it was extremely interesting to watch.

We are discussing our own but in no way is our intention to talk anyone out of their religion. Feel free to believe any thing you want to. It's not a bad thing to have beliefs. I just wanted to throw that out there. I really should not speak for Mr. Slatyb and I do apologize if I just over stepped. I would feel terrible personally if someone stopped practicing their religion because of anything that I said. Everyone I feel has the right to search for their own answers and come to their own conclusions.
