+1 yI'm on the fence. Bible says no, but then it says if you are saved, you get another life and a new body. Um... so that is reincarnation!
Scientifically speaking, matter is not created or destroyed [blowing a hole in the big bang theory right there], and so if it isn't destroyed, then maybe our core energy" is turned back into new life.
I doubt we remember the old life though.
So I use that to treat others and other animals with extra consideration. It could be someone I know. But at a minimum, it is a life and worthy of respect.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI do not. But from my human (daydream) POV I believe it would be the fairest way to reward or punish people for their life decisions. You should be rewarded an improved life the next around if your decisions helped humanity vs. punished with a worse future life if you didn’t.
But to me that’s inaccurate. Your spirit will survive and what happens after depends on your relationship with Jesus.
It’s an extremely bitter pill to swallow considering “there will be more chaff than wheat”. But I have to follow Gods commands for his purpose (which my human mind is not capable of comprehending).

u +1 yYes and no. I believe in “the theory of an egg”. So I suppose in a way, that is a form of reincarnation. We have lived every life there will ever be, you are me, I am you. We are all interconnected. It’s a tough theory to wrap your head around, but I’ve found a lot of comfort in it. Google it if you haven’t heard of it before.

467 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Maybe. It doesn't matter, we don't remember our former existences. Maybe subconsciously like instincts or some dreams which feel more like memories. In other hand maybe it's like a deja vu that is false flagging as memories of information our perception renders in real time.

+1 yIt makes sense. Whats creepy is there are about 8 billion people alive. And there are about 8 people that look the same in the world.. meaning we are supposed to be 1 billion. And maybe thats why a lot of people are born without souls..
Just a random theory though!
So yes I think its highly likely.

+1 yMy wife does since she's Buddhist. Or at least she acts like she does. She keeps saying that the worst people will reincarnate as a cockroach. But I keep wondering if being a cockroach is so bad. Gazelle seems worse since you're probably get eaten to death by a lion just wanting your limbs get chewed off and you're like, "Help?" And all the other Gazelle are like, "FUCK YOU!"

Imagine being a little baby Gazelle. And you're drinking from your mother's titties and are like, "Yum, yum." Then mother might rub her snout on your sout and she's like, "I love you." Then a lion approaches and everyone runs and you can't run so far with your little feet and mother is like, "Fuck you! I can make another one!" And you're like, "Mommmmyyyy!" And she's in the horizon while some tiger has your entire bleeding leg in her mouth.

I read this and all I could think was a phrase that came from so deep in my gut that it made everything I’ve ever said before it sound like a lie: “Cowabunga.”
- +1 y
@TooHot2Care Cowabaguna!
God as we understand Him is a Being than which no greater being can be conceived.
Therefore Rincarnation exists, because God can in fact perform Reincarnation of mortals.
IN fact, contrary to commentators before me, the book of Malachi claims God will send Elijah back from the dead before the "Day of the LORD".

"People have past lives, but they can't remember them." Except that there are more of us than ever, so it's not possible unless multiple people had the same past life.

Unless quantum mechanics and string theory and eternal recurrence have anything to say about it.
- +1 y
@TooHot2Care They don't.
- +1 y
Or do they?
- +1 y
@TooHot2Care No, they don't. I have no idea what "eternal recurrence" is, but when someone brings up quantum mechanics in a discussion about metaphysics, it's a certain sign they have never taken a class in quantum physics.

I just want to make a family happy and live a simple good life without the yoke of humanity binding me into a complex and frightening existence.Also, puppies get kisses from their humans.
