Why is Islam the fastest growing religion in the world?

How is that possible?

I'm atheist but lately I just been having doubts about life in general

The reason is simple. Islam is the only religion which does not have the scandals as we see with Christianity, nor the population decline as we see with Judaism.

Neither does it have the abhorrence of Hinduism. Hence gets a lot of reverts to the faith.

It's a happy accident for Islam. It happens to be the most widely practiced religion in countries where they make it the law and these countries also have the lowest levels of education for women. Whereas in the western world where women are educated, religion in general is in decline in favour of reason and science over superstition.

Simple: it's the second largest, and is the biggest religion in most parts of the world where wealth-induced population decrease hasn't kicked in yet. I'd be surprised if it WASN'T the fastest-growing.

I'm a Muslim, too. Everyone has their own belief. Islam may be preferred. But even the number of atheist Deist agnostics is high, in fact, in the world.

Because Muslims have higher birth rate than Christians or non-religious. I'm not sure about other religions.
