What Is The Difference Between Christian, Catholic, And Jewish?

I am Christian, have been for a long time, but I am curious about the difference between these religions.

The first thing to remember is that contrary to what is sometimes asserted, Catholics are Christians. I am a Catholic myself and we believe in, worship, adore, and love Jesus Christ.

The real question here is what is the difference between Catholics and, say, Protestants (Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, and so forth), Evangelicals, and Orthodox? The main difference is that Catholics believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in Holy Communion, which is the center of the Catholic Faith. We believe that at the Last Supper when He said of the bread and wine respectively "take this and eat, this is My Body... take this and drink, this is My Blood", that He meant it and was not speaking figuratively, which is often claimed by Protestants and Evangelicals. Some of these other churches have a communion of sorts, but they believe it is symbolic.

The next difference is what we believe about Mary and the Saints. Protestants and Evangelicals believe that Catholics worship them, that we love them more than Jesus. This is totally, abjectly, and completely false. We honor and revere them and ask for them to pray for us. We believe that these men and women of varying ages, backgrounds, personalities, and callings in life ought to be formally recognized for how they worked, lived, and in many cases died for Christ. Protestants and Evangelicals do not.

The last major difference would probably be that Catholics are often accused of ignoring and rejecting the Bible, of not knowing the Bible, and other such things. Again, this is false because for one thing, the Bible does not say or even imply that the Bible is the primary or sole rule of faith. And as a matter of historical fact, the Church produced the Bible and not the other way around. The simple fact alone that the New Testament describes events, places, and people and was written either by the first men of the Church, the Apostles of Christ Himself or by their own followers itself proves so.

Catholics believe the Bible, but not the Bible by itself. We also believe in and follow sacred tradition and the authority of the Church, both of which are commanded in the New Testament.

differences are much more complicated of course but I could narrow it down and simplify it to numbers...

Judaism believes in one God and your connection with God...

Christianity believes in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit... and the three of them being your salvation

and Roman Catholics focus on the worship of not just God, and Christ but also the saints and the Holy Virgin Mary, and they also like the Pope a lot

Christianity is New Testament based and does not accept canons outside the two testaments. Catholicism combines sacral history and culture and mandatory rules to the old and New Testament and Judaism is Old Testament combined with The Collective Interpretation, alongside with the Rabbinical or Pivotal Individuals who shaped it and is both ritualistic and pseudo literal as well as moral and sectarian and quasi legal.

Catholic is a form of Christianity. The big differences between Judaism and Christianity is 1) that Judaism is an ethnoreligion (meaning that it's both a religion and ethnicity) and 2) Christianity believes that Jesus is the Messiah promised in the Jewish scriptures that Christianity calls the Old Testament, and that Jesus was simultaneously God and human. Both of those claims Judaism rejects.

A Catholic is a Christian who follows the Church. Whereas, a Jew is one who is neither.

It's quite simple.
