What Are differences Between Catholic And Orthodox and Protestant? Do they love each other?

http://christianityinview.com/comparison.html
A bit simplified;

Catholics are somewhat viewed as traitors by Orthodox for turning on Constantinople and fucking it up so bad Constantinople never recovered (as Greeks didn't expected their brethren to attack them) which led to future easy invasion of muslim barbarians.
en.wikipedia.org/.../Sack_of_Constantinople_(1204)
It also was basically the point where Christianity from a single entity split into 2 branches: Catholics (meaning "wholeness, complete as having everything") and Orthodox ("Ortho" meaning "correct", "true", "right" and "Doxa" -- "to have an opinion", in overall meaning "true/right belief").
Protestants are a group that after a few centuries split from Catholics, are they had enough that a guy sitting in Vatican (Pope) is giving orders to countries he doesn't even know, nor has any idea whatsoever about it's culture, internal issues etc.
There’s a lot that I could get into but a simplified answer will have to do. The orthodoxy split from the Catholics around 1000AD basically as the RE was splitting between the Latin west and Byzantine east. As the Catholics were expanding they invaded and pressured the Italians (orthodox) to practice their Latin practices. The orthodox sect sent a delegation to the Catholics and both excommunicated the other and they’ve had a feud pretty much ever since.
The Protestant reformation came much later and was more or less started by Luther’s mailing of his 95 Theses to the door of the church in the early 16th century. He argued against the sale of indulgences, purgatory, and taught that we should have the scripture in the language of the people, we should get rid of tradition and be solo scriptura and solo gratia. Etc. he was excommunicated and I think He was eventually killed as a heretic although I can’t remember.
The Orthodoxy didn't split from Catholics. Christianity was a single entity.
It was the betrayal by western Christians during 4th Crusades when crusaders were sent by the west to liberate Jerusalem, but instead they turned on their Christian brethren in the east and sacked Constantinople, and looted it so bad Byzantine was never able to recover, which led to a Great Schism (dividing Christianity into Catholics and Orthodox), and later Byzantine falling apart to muslim barbarians due to extreme damage done by crusaders -- which also opened road to muslim subhumans to invade Europe.
metal to call muslims as subhuman is insane crusaders were criminals
@Metallsturm the orthodoxy split from the Catholics when they all excommunicated each other no? Saying that they were betrayed doesn’t change that there was a split. That’s what the term schism means
They excommunicated each other because that was the point where Christianity has split and both at the time felt they're "right" Christians.
@markjohn9696
As atheist, I'm calling them what they are. Islam is by far the worst ideology in human history.
@Metallsturm Christianity was never a single entity. Even if you look at the earliest texts we have you can see a variety of sects from the pulean sect, the pro-Jewish sect, and we may even have a reference to docetists. The point remains though that the schism between the catholic and orthodox sects occurred in the early 1000s, but I don’t think you’re disagreeing on that.
As for Islam being the worst ideology, I’m not convinced of that. Today it’s certainly one of the worst (discounting communism), but Christianity during the dark ages and even for several centuries after was quite egregious. I don’t think we should, but if we take the Torah as a valid accounting of the Jews exploits they were certainly quite horrific too. Not to mention any of the other religious ideologies that led to the suffering of untold numbers of people. Aztecs here in the US, Nordic religion and the effect on the surrounding people, African tribal religions etc.
>> discounting communism
Considering the amount of good they've done in a short amount of time (although I greatly disagree with communists in how a country should be run), I have to acknowledge they've industrialized my country and we have sent the first man into space, let alone every other progress; islam remains the same cancer it was 1400 years ago and is worse than both communism and nazism combined.
@Metallsturm I don’t know about your country, but communist regimes have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions.
My country got to the moon without communism so I don’t think communism is the reason why your country did, but presuming it is one boon or even several can’t justify the cost it’s accrued in human life.
One difference I know is that Orthodox and Protestants can marry but Catholics cannot.
@Nadim171 I meant their priests not the common folk to be clear.
@Nadim171 they have dude priest and lady priests

differences Between Catholic And Orthodox and Protestant:
1, they each say the other is wrong, but that doesn't conflict "love caring" wishing they would find the truth.
Catholic follow pope and respect pope but other 2 rejected pope.
similarly orthodox follow respect their patriarch but other 2 reject.
protestant lack hierarchy in contrast to patriarch n pope.
2, Do they love each other? In a way yes. Criticism doesn't mean hate! I have catholic friends now, but back when catholics were hostile...
3, orthodox do Easter and Christmas different date than catholic, also show the cross symbol on shoulders different order, in contrast my protestant church ignored Easter, both of their dates.
Faith differences are quite small

The main difference have been social and political, control of the masses.
They are all Christians, but the Catholic institution isn't true Bibical Christinity.
For one, Jesus commanded not to call anyone on earth "Father" for God is our Father only, yet the Pope is called Father.
#2 The Catholic institution prohibits priests from marriage, yet priest in the old testament got married and in the new testement a requirement for a man to be a clergy is he must be married to a wife.
And I can give you more of stupid rules that are not Bibical the Catholic institution makes up.
If you want to know whether they love each other, take a look at the history of Catholicism and Protestantism throughout Europe, particularly places like Ireland.
😂😂 what about ortodoxo
on egypt we have tons ofthem
Well I personally wish the church reunite and be one church.
The Catholics and the protestant are ok with each other.
I'm born to a Coptic orthodox family but both me and my father were raised in catholic schools. I now personally became a Catholic because I prefer going to catholic churches and catholic priests
But the protestants kinda hate both of us because they are strongly against saints.
I'm Catholic and my mom is Lutheran/Presbyterian. We love one another.
explain difference
There's less pedophilia in the non Catholic Christian denominations as there is no power structure outside the church to protect them. Most non Catholic Christian religions have a thing against centralized power. Martin Luther posted his 40 thees on the church door to address the problems he had with the church.
The difference is that they read the Bible differently, which is the best indicator that the Bible is a bad tool for God to get his points across, from which follows that God must be dumb.
Is there such a thing as orthodox prodestants or do you mean Lutherans?
Martin Luther a Catholic priest started a protest to reform the Catholic church which at the time was super corrupt, eventually it led to breakaway groups of Christianity which are all protestant. Prodestantism is in the name Protest.
orthodox vs catholic vs protestant what r difference i dont talk about lutheren or martin Luther
The differences are very minor between Catholic and orthodox church except for certain religious dates and practices like circumcision. The orthodox don't believe in the pope. Greek is the language of the orthodox church while for the Roman Catholics it's Latin. Orthodox priest can marry before being ordained, Roman Catholics can't be priests while married unless their wife is dead, religious doctrine can be changed by the Catholic church not so in the orthodox. The Orthodox church rejects the stations of the cross. They don't believe thst the virgin Mary was free from orginal sin.
The differences between Catholics and prodestants is that prodestants believe in the bible alone while Catholics believe in Catholic tradition and the church along with the bible. Prodestants don't believe in the pope as God's representative on earth. Catholics and orthodoxs believe in the 7 sacraments while prodestants believe...
... in faith alone is all thst is needed to be justified by God. Catholics believe a man can and must atone for own sins while prodestants believe that believing in Christian all one needs to be saved. Prodestants reject the idolatry of the Catholic and orthodox church. That's generally it. There are a lot of protestant sects each believing in different things.
Most Christian churches have the Nicene Creed.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.
...
We believe in one holy
catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one
baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
it seems Protestant seems more liberal andopen minded than others
I'd say the Catholic is more liberal and open minded these days than the prodestants, at least in 2018 in general.
cuz pope Francis i love this man the greatest man all over the world 😍
Yeah he's a Jesuit.
explain this word please
اليسوعي
The Society of Jesus (SJ; Latin: Societas Iesu) is a scholarly religious congregation of the Catholic Church which originated in sixteenth-century Spain. The members are called Jesuits (Latin: Iesuitae).[2] The society is engaged in evangelization and apostolic ministry in 112 nations on six continents. Jesuits work in education (founding schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries), intellectual research, and cultural pursuits. Jesuits also give retreats, minister in hospitals and parishes, sponsor direct social ministries, and promote ecumenical dialogue.
Basically it's said to be a shadowy NWO group like the hospilars (knights of malta), Templars (freemasons), ilimunati, Zionists, the Vatican, opus dei, the British monarchy etc if you believe in that sort of thing.
They have historically been thrown out of every country at one time or another from England to france to to russia to japan for interfering in politics , seeking power and amassing large amounts wealth.
Catholic and protestant do not love each other actually when protestant first started a feud started between the Catholic and protestant and from what I know the protestant is simply more relaxed and filled with less tradition than the Catholic
Just Slightly Different kind of IMAGINATION and OPINIONS regarding After Life...
The difference is the Catholic religion is more Satanic than Satanism
I'm not sure.
