The Bible is full of contradictions. If it's the Word of God then God is one confused dude! I won't even get started on other religions.
So if newer religions like Mormons and Scientology started as a hoax what does that say about religions as a whole?

The first thing I think of is all the atheistic idiots who don't know the difference between "religion" and "theism/deism".
"Religion" is usually a system of idiotic temple traditions that people wrongfully think pleases God.
"theism" is the belief and conviction that God exists and is the First Cause.
those are two different and quite unrelated concepts.
I can't choose from the given because none closely suit what I think. Well, when I hear the word religion I'd instantly think about worship. Y'know, when they ask me "what's your religion?" It automatically translates to my brain as "who do you worship?" and that's when I think about my God
