First thing that comes to mind is people who worship evil. Over the last decade in particular that have become even more apparent. Most know religion is evil kinda in general, but nobody takes the cake like Christianity.
I thought it was interesting though reading the gospel of Judas. It kinda even sounded like Jesus thought the same. Like according to judas, Jesus looked down on his disciples cause they worshiped the God of fools. What essentially Christianity worship is an evil God who gets a kick out of messing with them, which makes perfect sense with the bibel. Cause in the bibel the God there clearly comes off as pure evil, but somehow he is the good one and Satan bad. God killing millions for no good reason, Satan killing maybe 1, on behalf of God. Yet again God = good, satan = bad. But yes, the God of fools, the one Christianity worship could be seen as basically Satan, he had a different name for him that I can't remember, but dear lord does that make sense.
I think the bible teaches people to worship evil, excuse evil, support evil and reject good. This you see everyday, if they had their way the world would only go backwards.
All of these but A. The church (certainly in the Southern USA) has been more about networking and making contacts etc. for as long as I can remember (1960's) I suppose there must be churches that actually go by the things they claim to be about.
In the past there are things like all the holy wars, the inquisition, witch hunts. We've seen priests preying on little boys, and then the church helps to cover it up...
The two most prevalent religions in the world today are both patriarchal monotheisms. I don't see how this can be anything other than harmful to women and the feminine aspect in general. Most often ladies cannot advance in rank beyond a certain point. They are often portayed as property in literature such as "The Bible", and we haven't even discussed trying to ram their beliefs into law while not paying taxes. Excuse me but if you even DISCUSS politics from the pulpit, let alone try to force everyone else behave according to your mythology then YOU need to PAY TAXES. One of the reasons people came to this country back then was to escape religious persecution... well here we go again right?

Religion is extremely important to a society and human life. Whether or not you choose to recognize it your brain is wired to integrate with such a social system of believes and accountability.
This is why even atheist often find themselfs turning to some kind of spirituality. At the end of the day its hard to trust people who don't believe themselfs accountable to a God.
As for @bigslab 1 sided poll, in addition to needing an option of disagreement, he also needs to Read the 1st amendment of the Federal Constitution and the history of theses united States. Not only is there NOT a "wall of separation between Church in State" in the constitution.
The 1st Amendment's prohibition on Congress (the federal legislator) establishment of religion was passed precisely because soo many of the States already had different and rival established State religions which they didn't want the others using congress to overwrite. The meaning of the 1st amendment couldn't be more clearly demonstrated.
That saying "wall of separation of church and state" which leftist have been parroting for 100 years came not from the Constitution nor any author there of but from Thomas Jefferson. A man who did not take part in writing the Constitution and was in fact referring to his inability to intervene against the Connecticut's then established religious laws on behalf of the leaders of a religious minority that had written him.
Somewhere along the way 100+ years later some dishonest lawyer and court cherry picked the phrase out of context from said letter to push for State Atheism.
You asked for it...
@AsaKyo lol You don't say! XD I have no idea how they got to depict him the way he looks now. I've got even more extreme naked memes of him, buuut I'd rather hold on to them XPP
This is a load crap. Nothing about healthcare, workers rights, trade unions, love, sacrifice, loving your neighbour. Theses are all a result of Christian values. Answer it’s Christ like. I like Gandhi words. “I like your Jesus, I don’t like your Christian, they are so unlike your Christ”.
I think they are a bit possessive to have a decent conversation with but I don’t disagree with most of what they say. In the in end, I’m religious too but a muslim.
Just let them be, man
Hypocritical bigots who aim to push their sensibilities and dogma on everyone else, or elect people who will.
How tolerant of you!
Lately, I've seen a lot more of what you're talking about coming from the woke mob.
Beto is threatening churches that they either have to forsake all common sense, biological truth, and the Bible itself, and endorse sodomy, or he'll have their tax exempt status revoked.
Who in that picture sounds the most like the intolerant, spiteful, dogmatic one trying to force his agenda on everyone else?
It only begins with taxes. You also turn a blind eye to the reality since forever in other countries. If you think being forced to sing the praises of that which is anathema to you is the same as you not being allowed to molest kids, then you truly have a warped view on things.
Have you seen what happens in India, for starters? And that's been that way forever. Hindi nationalists waste millions of dollars trying to guess who might be covertly Christian, just so they can form lynch mobs. Suspected churches get burned down, with women and children trapped inside. All the time.
And that's humane, compared to what happens if your cave is discovered by the Taliban!
I don't want to hear one peep about the church being "oppressive," coming from pagans who have a bitch fit because they can't engage in lewd public conduct without being arrested, when real persecution happens everywhere!
First thing is the Fred Jordan Mission and Run2Rescue (they help girls saved from trafficking). Second is the TV charlatans and hypocritical scolds who are anything but Christ-like.
Interesting how you use cartoons made by blasphemers and the bitter, but don't allow the Syrian Christians who know every single day could be their last a chance to present their side of the story. That goes for you too, @Malgaran.
Imagine, if you will, a world full of degenerate sickos. Who beat off to the sound of babies being torn apart limb from limb, without any anesthetic at all. Who think THEY are the victims, and not the babies they're murdering! All because someone sensible - Christian or otherwise - had the gall to say that chopping up babies and harvesting their adrenochrome for sick fun and profit is wrong!
And that's the crowd that wants to lecture about how "evil" Christians are?
Im not sure what your point is, my opinion has nothing to do with some cartoons or bitterness. I can agree with a lot of Jesus teachings for example, but heavily disagree with "God"'s teachings, since a lot of it even contradict each other. Im open to hearing anything also. Even more so since I dont know much about Syrian christians, like what is the difference in belief between a regular christian or catholic compared to a "Syrian Christian" ?
Didn't read your second comment until now.. but see, I thought you were describing Christians.. cause that's exactly what happen in the bible, with the 7 plagues. When God took all first borns who didn't sacrifice some goats and painted their doors with their blood. God murdering babies for fun or the sins of their parents. Killing the innocent, pointlessly so.
In places like Nepal, where Christians are few in number, and rarely do anything to bother anyone, locals still squander millions of dollars in fanatical obsession with the idea of weeding them out.
The OP is an absolute dunce to make light of persecution!
@Malgaran : God alone has the right to decide to end the lives of anyone at any time. It is wrong when Man does it, because it is Man acting on what is God's exclusive jurisdiction. Get a clue!
Moreover, it was to be a symbol of faith in a promise to come. Anyone who refused to do it, because Pharaoh ordered everyone not to paint their door, was saying that they allied themselves with Pharaoh and slavery instead. Given the atrocities Pharaoh had committed, it was an endorsement of atrocity.
What God did was revenge.
OP asked a question, pretty sure his answeres was more aimed towards in this day and age usa, with their political problems between church vs states and of course the history of Christianity forcing their believes down everyone throat (Ironically you could call that persecution which you are supposedly against), not some obscure worshipers in Nepal.
See here again, it is a perfect example of worship of evil. What is one of the main problems with religion? That their rule doesn't apply to themselves. "God can kill" but you can't. Rules apply to you. Not me. Christianity is swimming in all the blood they have shed over years cause of exactly this mentality. So they sin and sin, ask God for forgiveness an all is well, but a moral person would not think so. A moral person knows apologizing to a broken mirror won't magically fix it.
Then that second part, the black and white mentality. With us or against us. Lets not mention the irony too that Jesus tried to teach about turning the other cheek, rather than revenge. Contradictions again between teachings of God vs Jesus. I'm pretty sure too back then as well, it was people who didn't lean either way, who werent on Pharaoh side nor Moses. Although history seem to dismantle a lot of those theories again, showing that the "slaves" was treated pretty good, that they weren't even slaves at all but respectable members of their society, but sidetracking I suppose.
But yeah, looking into you a bit.. I see exactly again proof of what Im saying. A worshiper of evil.
*Sigh*. You forget.. the kids God killed, were innocent, they had no choice in this. Just irony upon Irony. I know is no point for me to say anything, but same old. Proved everything I said, even though I wasn't even trying to do that at all. I was even trying to prove myself wrong.
I ain't saying that is what I am supposed to think. But there it is.
Republican evangelists/"Christian nationalists"
I am a Christian myself by the way, but non-denomenational, and certainly not Republican. Or evangelist.
Jesus and salvation. God's ultimate sacrifice to save humanity, if we want to live an eternity with God we have to accept His son Jesus.
Lunacy.
I find transgenders to be rather normal than religious fanatics, who tell us how to live life as if the bible/quran are manuals to do so.
Neither. I don’t think of a stained-glass window, or any of those propaganda rubbish. I just think of people to which I don’t belong. Xtians have different opinions, and I actually do agree with some.
The true Jesus was black and it's offensive to think he's not. You're a racist if you don't accept black Jesus.
None of those. I just think they're like any other people.
All of these lol. But most "brainwashed". Cultists. Sheep's.
All of the above kind of resembles Nazi-style propaganda against the Jews. It's not an accurate depiction of Christianity, just one that suits your prejudices against them.
liars. manipulators. stuff like that.
Religious nuts
Of the Lord's family.
