If God rejects a guy for you, does He have something better in mind?

I had a new interest recently and only told 2-3 people without showing any names or details. But I feel this guy might not be God’s plan cause our paths don’t cross, I’m always too busy to talk, something always comes up.

Of course yes because he said that " His plans for us are not of evil but of good".

So I know that whoever GOD rejects for us, is not destined to be with us. GOD always have something that is more than better for us in his mind, which is why he doesn't want us to go astray.
