"Jeopardy" fans found themselves stunned Tuesday night after all three contestants failed to answer a question asking them to complete a line of the Lord’s Prayer, the most widely recited prayer in Christianity.

Contestants Suresh Krishnan, Laura Blyler and Joe Seibert stood in silence, with none of the three attempting to fill in the blank, until host Mayim Bialik revealed the answer: “Hallowed.”

The moment went viral, with viewers on Twitter expressing their shock at the contestants' inability to answer a seemingly common-knowledge question.

@BCRanger10 I was able to recite it per verbatim when I had to attend UMOS LODD or Memorials. Since I have been out of the game a while. I remember it vaguely.

Yes I do. I also learned it in Latin and French, in addition to English.

But recently, three Jeopardy (TV show) contestants did not. No one could answer the question "Our Father which art in Heaven <what> be thy Name". Of course, the correct answer is "What is hallowed?".

to go, good start now compare luke version and the footnote that the ending was added in later documents not in ancient ones. in fact n. i. v. shorter for this reason

Not The Lord's Prayer but at least its one that I can remember from my childhood that I still use to this very day.

ooh yeh!! you reminded me of preschool when we chanted pledge of allegiance and i was aware that i did not know any of those long words lol. if they want kids to say it they need to use kid words or it is worthless.
