They aren't people... All the people in the Bible are Thought people. Adam and Eve represent the Conscious and Subconscious mind. The conscious being the male and subconscious being the female. I’m a Christian and I don’t believe that Adam and Eve were white. I believe they were black. Anthropologists will tell you that the first human beings were black. We do know, from the Bible, that humanity was once gathered within a particular region before spreading out to the other regions of the world (story of the Tower of Babel). Anthropology agrees with this as well.

Anthropology tells us that differences in skin color among individuals was and is caused by variation in pigmentation, which is the result of genetics, exposure to the sun, natural selection or a combination of all 3. The Bible does not explicitly give us the origin of the different "races" or skin colors of humanity. In actuality, there is only one race - the human race. Within the human race, there is vast diversity in skin color and other physical characteristics.

That seems a very minor problem. Just think about the next generation after Adam and Eve - and the issues with inbreeding and incest. The only way humans could have survived is if God was manipulating their genetics.

This is of course assuming we ignore the fossil and archeological record - presumably God created those, and transported some people to the more remote parts of the world (like say Tasmania)

It's only artistic licence which makes Adam, Jesus and others "White". They were in hot regions. They would most likely have been Black or dark skinned.
