Do nightmares or bad dreams have any spiritual meaning?

For a long time there have been different ways for interpreting the meaning of dreams around the world. In ancient knowledge, dreams are our connection to the spiritual world, you should know that there are many spiritual levels on the dreams that you could have entered. There are clairvoyant dreams about some fact to take care of, in other level you would find spiritual gurus.. and there are evil spirits too that can enter to scare you.
But don't worry about it, your bad dreams may have been telling you something important for your life.
I have entered the spiritual world of dreams at deep levels while conscious and I am spiritually healthy. Just believe in yourself. In my town someones call me the shaman. however I have a degree in psychology by good university, so my perspective and my books mixes scientific and ancient knowledge.
The neurological theory explains dream production mechanisms but does not contribute anything relevant to understanding the meaning, however psychoanalysis links the meaning of dreams with the unconscious, that is those things and thoughts about our life that are still difficult for we to see but it can be expressed very hidden in your dreams and it can be deciphered.

not always but god gave me my bro and my friends a vision the same night, its what cause me to turn my life around so its possible but dont assume they all are, if it feels 100% real to the point you wake up not knowing if it happened and you are relieved it didn't then that is probably a vision my bro saw our deaths on a different alternative if we didn't change our lives around, it is indeed possible, god can also try communicating through a dream if im not mistaken but im not too sure how it all works

Depends on the nightmare or bad dream. Some can have meanings, others are just your brain being random.

I don't believe so, but that's for me. I think that each person's dreams not only have specific meaning for them but also can be spiritual for a person who is spiritual themselves.

in my opinion they're reflective of your subconscious. If you're stressed or eat poorly you will tend to dream more. They give you an indication of your emotions and things you're pondering on.

But what is the subconscious exactly? Sometimes I dreamed about what I couldn't have known will happen, and it happens that day. Subconscious must be very intelligent then.

Maybe there is slightly more to dreams than just random crap.

Some people astral travel and have been hired to locate lost people for example.

I myself was unintentionally remote viewing every morning when I was about 7, the way it usually sent is I believed I woke up so I tried talking to people but they didn't answer me, then i go back to sleep. Minutes later when I actually wake up i find the people in the EXACT same place doing the EXACT same thing as i saw in the dream. I ask them why they didn't reply, they'd say they never saw me.

When I do dream , which is very rarely, it's usually related to something that happened during the day.
