Do you believe God rewards secret good deeds?

It's hard to know when somebody does good deeds in secret because they don't talk about it but sometimes a donor will indirectly disclose they help others. I know two cases where the girls served society in secret, and prospered in all areas of life, financially, socially, romantically, religiously, parentally, intellectually and professionally. I also know people who bragged or served with a hateful attitude and they got no rewards or had to suffer tremendous and unimaginable suffering before they could be rewarded for their good deeds, because they did it full of judgment and hate and they did it for honour and social interest.

I don't believe secret deeds are rewarded and here is why because of my morals and as a Catholic I'd like to think that it isn't that way but I'm unsure, you are not able to lie to God and it wouldn't surprise me if two or three people would do it willingly and out of pure heart knowing that they will get a blessing in exchange, it isn't about good deeds only is about being genuine about your sins and put your faith into God choosing to believe his word. You could do it out of pure heart but that doesn't reward you with a life constantly filled of joy problems happen and what we decide to believe in and act on certain situations is the thing that decides if we go above with him in the end

The bible literally states that secret good deeds are rewarded. Folks really don't know their bible...

The bible has many verses about how showing off is an evil and a sin. Good deeds in secret is the best kind of good deed. God indeed rewards the deeds in secret.

"Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

If you are really doing anything good, you will constantly have evil at your door step. You can realize that evil hates good and they will always be nipping at your heels. You can understand that while challenging, you are shielded and protected or you can see it as being tested God... Rarely do you do good, and good is returned in favor. Many in the halls of power are very bad people...
