Which religion cares more about the homeless?

Christians care much about the homeless. The Salvation Army is a Christain organization, though they have a lot of debatable views and are often opinionated about those views, but they do help a lot of people.

They provide shelter for the homeless, meals for the poor, food pantry weekly, and they help with housing. There's a Methodist church down the street from me that gives out meals every Monday. Last year I was homeless because I was a victim of narcissistic abuse and it wasn't safe for me at home anymore, and I was still safer on the street!

I really didn't even feel comfortable asking for help, and then I found out I had diabetes, so that didn't make it any easier. From my experience though, Christian organizations are helpful. If I ever become a published writer and sell any of my books, I'd like to donate some of the money to help these organizations, since they helped me. I'm sure there's other religions that care about the homeless also.

I would imagine it would be one of the Christian sects. I know that the Catholics have a number of shelters, food pantries, and the like. I also know that the Mormons are very generous with their members who are down on their luck. They have their own food pantries, work centers, and will cover housing. I also know that the Quakers (Church of Friends) are known for their charitable contributions but as they are not a large organization they don't make much of an impact.

As far as global impact I would guess the Catholic church as they are large, well established, and have significant resources. Followed quickly by the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). But that is off the top of my head without searching it up.

I don't care what the social media shows, i have helped mostly christians and muslims in Iraq and Sweden and what i have seen is the christians do a lot without posting about it on any social media and i am one of them. I know muslims do help a lot too and i helped few times in Iraq but i am not sure which one does more. I know a friend of mine whom is hindu and he showed me that they do help homeless too with massive numbers of people and even on social medias, tv news (Indian media). So i would say! All religions and none religious do help without posting about it on social medias. But! Christianity is my choice.

I only know Christian's doing such out of their heart and care, but it isn't a religion, it's individuals leading it. One church I attended put a lot of effor tinto helping homeless including helping them recover and find work.

Muslims do so, as far as I know, out of obligation.

Don't know about others.

I believe Sikhs. Because at the Sikh temple always provide food for the public. Especially if you visit the Sikh holy city of Amritsar, Punjab India ☺️

They all do. It's one of the tenet's of faith.

Only Hindu's don't give a fuck about the homeless, they think themselves "brown Jews" but are no more than the dalits they hate so much.

Christians are generally enjoined to be charitable but Jesus did say:

Matthew 8:20 (NIV) "Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
