Anonymous(25-29)+1 yYes but the Bible was a tainted version of the Quran. We believe all these books belonged and came from Islamic ideology.
Before, Allah sent down The Quran, he sent down two other books (The Bible and the Hebrew Torah) but these books were altered, corrupted and interpolated so he sent down his final, unchanged preserved book: The Quran.
You don't believe me? Look at the similarities between the old testament and the Quran. The bible has been changed so much throughout history, how could you possibly take it as the true word of God?

reminder quran itself said book of jesus was light and good , if so not corrupted. sheiks who teach it was corrupted violate the quran, so dont you prefer the quran over a human sheik?
Opinion Owner+1 y@strateguy632 The Quran never specifies the bible as "the book of Jesus" first of all. And yes whilst the book that Allah REVEALED to Jesus (The Injil) may be considered light and good, the Quran empathises that this same book was later corrupted and changed through the ages.. hence why Allah had to send the FINAL word and book to Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
Sura 3:78: And there is indeed a group among them who twist their tongues with the book, that you may suppose it to be from the book. But it is not from the book. And they say, “It is from God,” though it is not from God. And they knowingly speak a lie against God.
Opinion Owner+1 y@strateguy632 so now this is not just a claim fabricated by sheikhs
Sheikhs take from the Quran and the hadiths- +1 y
YOUR QUOTE itself, " it is not from the book." was the problem but no problem IN book itself according to quran. many converts join christianity from islam because of starting with assumption quran is true if so the book bible is good.

to dear, content jesus, good points. the order was "first Bible exist before the Quran" and revealed BEFORE jesus, it got assembled "last half of millenia" meaning between 500 bc -1 bc probably 150bc, called old testament in which Jesus was prophesied=foretold. next jesus taught around 26 a. d. then 2 students started writing new testament book same generation (see my mytake for sources) probably 30 a. d. later more added by paul around 50 a. d. maybe 13 books. other books added to new testament by later councils.

The final issue of the Torah, the first five books of the Bible under Judaism, took place during the 6th–5th century BC). The entire Hebrew Bible was complete and compiled by about 100 D. The books of the New Testament were written in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The Koran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad beginning in 610 AD and ending with Muhammad's death in 632 AD.

Jesus was not known to have written anything, only spoken. It is this gospel that Muslims believe as "The Injeel".

omg, each denomination has various TRANSLATIONS of the Same stories. every story and book in protestant version is also in catholic. about date archeologists FOUND old bibles from 2000 years ago so older by 600 years.
also jesus students john and mathew WROTE, they were in day of jesus, as specified inside the book.
Even quran said book of jesus is good and light so not corrupted. - +1 y
No as technically there is no such thing as "the bible," only "a bible according to,"
It is according to the Holy Spirit, which effected the compilation of the Canon 66 books.
"as each denomination has it's own."
That is false. Evangelical and Catholic denominations may prefer certain translations into English and other languages, but with rare exceptions, the message remains the same.
But as you know, any Koran I can read is not the authentic Koran because it must be in Arabic and therefore, any other version, according to Muslims is not their Word of G0d..
as each denomination has it's own

10 moMuslims are retarded as shit. The very word you use for the Christian Bible in your own Quran, indicates that Christians still have the Bible of the time of your false prophet. Injil is an Arabic transliteration of the Greek word Euangelion which means The Good Message or Gospel. Your own holy book the Quran tells you that the Injil is the Greek New Testament by the very word it uses to describe it, but you don't even understand the words in your own book so it flies right over your head. It's comical really. Christians have the Greek Bible. It was never corrupted. Your Quran confirmed the Greek Bible and told you that it is with the Christians. Your Allah told you that the word of God can't be changed and that you can't accept parts of the scripture. Then your Quran went on to contradict what it confirmed proving that your entire religion is false. Islam is a big joke.

Muhammad lived in the 6th century when he was confirming what the Christians had with them. The Greek Bible... Christians today have many old copies of the Bible including the following which all come earlier than Muhammad and these Bibles are the same as what Christians have today.

tho the bible is a collection of different texts written by different people spanning across probably a time frame of over 1000 years. the quran was written by one person in a time frame of around 20 ears.

@HippieVeganJewslim you’re right I’m about 170 years off. The events of the Bible was about 610-632AD years but the official writing was 100 AD
- +1 y
Have You any evidence? Thanks for the clarification!
- +1 y
Actually, The Bible came centuries after Christianity, I’ve heard. Nu?
- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim no but I’m using Britanica as a the source www.britannica.com/.../When-was-the-Bible-written
- +1 y
Thanks for the link! ‘The books of the New Testament were written in the 1st and 2nd centuries CE,’ so that brings the latest year to be CE 199. Not exactly centuries in plural after Christianity, but definitely after CE 99.
- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim were still talking about 300-400ish years between thr Quran in the Christian Bible. (Trying to draw a distinction between the Jewish bible, the Christian Bible and the Islam Bible aka Quran.
Either way there all from the Abrahamic tradition

+1 yMost of the religions are a competing game behind one mastermind who started that religion.
05 Reply- +1 y
All religions ultimately acknowledge and worship the same God. It only divides the masses and from my understanding God wants unity. It’s a trick of the enemy. I’m Not saying religion can’t bring us all closer to the God but since religion has already done the opposite of that, it’s almost impossible to see how we can combine all religions and lean on our spiritual brothers and sisters while we all journey to the Kingdom God has for us.
- +1 y
But doesn’t most all religions say they are the only true way to heaven. So how are we suppose to know the correct choice. Since God loves us why did he create such problems in choices, because he was supposed to have told them in dreams what to write.
- +1 y
God didn’t create religion, men did but if they were built on his principles and people followed them, it wouldn’t be so much confusion about religion and it wouldn’t be religion against religion. Even if you claim a religion, God is who you follow, not the religion and that’s how you will know that there is ultimately one God despite the many religions.

to dream, content only, precisely for example jew teach must do old testament laws , so following n. t. is not enough. similarly n. t. teaches jesus is "only way" if so jew alone or islam alone not enough. the exception is quran that said if believe christianity "no worry" source 2,62, christianity is the only one validated and confirmed by a competitor
+1 yPretty sure it did! However, King James lived after the Qur’ān was written, and many Christians only take the King James’ version as the ‘true’ Bible.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yYes. Even a Muslim won't dent it. Quran is supposed to be the "latest/most updated/newest" word from the God.
19 Reply- +1 y
I’m a Muslim and I know that all those books that make up the Bible were put together after. I mean, one book made of five is the Torah, and then several books by/about several prophets (Nevi’im) and a few writings (Ketuvim). They make up the Tanax, or Jewish Bible. There were also four gospels and many writings of Paul, that were uncovered 50 years after Yeshua’s leave. Were all those books put together before or after Muhammad’s death, the completion of the Qur’ān?
Opinion Owner+1 y*won't denY it
Opinion Owner+1 y@HippieVeganJewslim I'm not sure of what you're asking.. Or if you're telling me. You seem to have a lot more knowledge than me on the religious subject
Was it a sarcastic question cuz they're compiled after Quran?
Opinion Owner+1 yThese are all the book that compiled the Bible. Right?
Well I didn't know.. Thanks. But yes, pls do clarify what you're asking- +1 y
It wasn’t sarcastic. I think of myself as a curious person who’s seeking knowledge, rather than a knowledgeable person who has lots of knowledge. I’m talking about the book known as the Bible, from Genesis (in the beginning) to the Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah. I am wondering in what year it was originally published. It’s OK if You know not.
Opinion Owner+1 yI don't know😟 but I hope you find what you're looking for on the internet😊👍 I myself read about how Torah, the Bible (came in parts) & Quran came to be.. But I don't remember it much😅 probably cuz I never read the history part in much details :( like I didn't remember it, esp. in so much details & with names, like you
@HippieVeganJewslim
I'm also interested in knowing more- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim Its not a simple comparison. All of teh separate books of the bible predate the Quoan by centuries, the Gospel of St John writtten in maybe 100AD. But the books were collected and modified many times. The first complete version was around 400 AD (still earlier than the Quran by a few hundred years) but was in latin, only later translated to other languages.
- +1 y
@richardcory thanks. Latin is fine. Pity the original Hebrew/Aramaic/Koine is lost
- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim clever wording "put together later" hinting bible later but not claimed "written" later.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yYes by several centuries. And the Talmud and Tanach predate the Bible.
This is not up for debate.
04 Reply- +1 y
Tanach is in the Bible, more or less than the Old Testament.
- +1 y
omg tanach is same book as bible. change your sentence order tanach and christian bible "predate talmud and quran".
Opinion Owner+1 y@strateguy632 The Tanach is not the Bible. Get yourself to a library.

for example tanak includes book genesis, and bible does too. SAME book.
