Have you been to the church of the last saints of Jesus Christ?

Never heard of it. That's kind of an interesting idea, though; a church that changes who it's named after as time passes and new Saints come along.
Wait a minute- isn't that the big Mormon church in Salt Lake City? Those guys aren't about being the last saints, just saints of the last DAYS (which is why they're going to feel very silly in six or seven thousand years). Also, given that sainthood is union with God, you inherently don't have it down here on Earth. Saint aspirants or future saints, sure, but you're not there yet.
Anyway, while I've never been to a Mormon service, I've liked every Mormon that I've met; they tend to be good people.
Once when I had serious diarrhea. It just happened to be the nearest building.
Lets just say that bathroom was no longer consecrated ground after I was done.
No I'm Catholic. I'm afraid the last time I spoke to someone Mormons I insulted them. They were trying to preach the book of mormon to me but I already know a little bit about mormonism. They believe in the bible question they asked me was what if there was another book as holy as the bible and I basically said that they were actually Christians and that Muslims were closer to Christianity than Mormons are which they took offence to but i was just being honest. Mormons are generally good people in my experience and I pray for them🙏
I didn't mean too but they did ask my views on mormonism.
Christianity is basically one faith and we believe in one book the Bible, yes there are variations and slight differences in on or faith but its generally the same. There's no belief in ancient Jews living in America, no becoming God's ruling planets and populating those planets with spirit children, no talking hats
Local Catholic Church.
Mormons don't believe in becoming gods to rule other planets with spirit children. Or talking hats. The Book of Mormon is another testament of God's works in the new world. It follows the Jaredites, the Nephites and the Lamanites; neither of which are Jewish. Though the Nephites and Lamanites are Israelites; just not of the tribe of Judah. They were of the Tribes of Ephriam and Manassah.

@shortster was the church of latter day saints making cartoons in the 1830s?
@shortster it's well documented in the book orlf mormon.
“They will receive everything our Father in Heaven has and will become like Him. They will even be able to have spirit children and make new worlds for them to live on, and do all the things our Father in Heaven has done.”-GOSPEL FUNDAMENTALS, page 201, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
@shortster That's right, and Irishgirl02 talked to the Mormons in his reply, telling them that Islam was committing a crime against Christianity. I also thought that mormons were muslims from here, I may have misunderstood the answer
