That all depend on your spiritual strength and the closer you are to God, the harder it is for witchcraft to effect you, if you know the word it speaks on how the enemy works so you'll know the ways to make it powerless basically, most of it is fear believe it or not, the faith we have for God makes us powerful and fear of dark magic shows lack of faith when it comes to being protected spiritually by god, you should know God protects you and the closer you are to him and the more you know, the stronger you become spiritually.

If you are a genuine "saved" Christian, your heart and body are inhabited by the Holy Spirit, and where the Spirit is the Devil can not inhabit. So any demon can not possess you. My question is why do you want to deal with witchcraft? Witchcraft is Satan’s realm, and he excels in counterfeiting what God does. When Moses performed miracles before Pharaoh, the magicians did the same things through demonic power (Exodus 8:7). At the heart of witchcraft is the desire to know the future and control events that are not ours to control. Those abilities belong only to the Lord. Anyone who hates in the name of God isn’t a real Christian either. 1 John 04:20 “He who says “I love God” but hates his brother is a liar. He also tells us to preach the gospel so that sinners come to repentance. Trying to explain the errors of your thinking is not judgement, it is quoting from the Bible. Seems you are judging yourself. Anyone can be saved, even queers, gays,... or even a serial mass murderer for that matter. As long as they are sincere when they ask Jesus into their heart, and repent of their sins, they can be forgiven and join with their God in Heaven when they die because Jesus took the penalty for your sins, and you are therefore blameless.

That’s what I was afraid of 🤦🏻‍♂️. I’ll stay clear of witches. What if I studied it and didn’t practice any of it? For example what different spells do. I wouldn’t think it would hurt to have a knowledge of it. Thank you for your honesty.
