  True... sort of... I was not handcuffed, but put in the back of the police car and rushed "downtown" so to speak. After the cops called a judge, I was let go of my own recognizance but had to go to court. I was facing some violations and a misdemeanor. I ultimately was ACODed after I got a public defender (I was unemployed and homeless at the time.)
