Do you believe the universe has a noble secret?

I learned 10 new facts about the book of Deuteronomy this week and it’s been less than 50 hours and I’ve already had humongous personality changes. I believe the two things that changed me the most were the bible and the academic lifestyle. I might not even be alive right now if I did not have those 2 things to guide how I act and think and behave.

The greatest question of them all is this one: "What IS the Universe? How come it exists and why does it behave this way?"

If you think about it, it's logical that something must exist, but why this? And at the same time, why must something exist? Couldn't there just be nothing... no life? The Universe exists, that's obvious. So when did it begin? And what was before that? I find it all incredibly mysterious. I believe that the Universe holds answers to everything, except the existence of the Universe itself. I think that no matter how hard we try, or how much information we succesfully gain from it, we will never know what was before or will be after the Universe.
