Ouija boards , crystals, snakes, dream catchers , idols budda souvenir that includes catholic statues and pictures, Horror movies in order word inappropriate movies. Halloween decorations even famous paintings. Now all of these items are curse and bring demons and distractions ti your home. As a christian we need to be considerate about what things we bring inside to our house. You yourself as a christian are you careful about what things you bring inside to your home?

+1 ymyself as a christian AM careful about what things bring inside my home.
i distinguish between occult and stuff like it: ghost stuff, to avoid, Ouija boards, catholic statues and pictures of dead, idol statues budda statue as very bad.
less bad but also avoid those certain crystals claimed to have powers. picture of snakes.
i don't believe so avoid "dream catchers" magic.
in contrast i did see some Horror movies, not a sin just to find i don't like them. not even jurassic park!! but not stop due to sin.
only promiscuity is considered "inappropriate movies" like pg13 due to nudity etc. but some rated r for other contents might be fine for adults.

All good points, although I would imagine if you already have a fairly strong relationship with God then you probably aren't going to have much of a mind to want to bring those things into your home, but I'm also sure even strong Christians have times of weakness or feeling lost and will do things they shouldn't, just like anyone else.
For me I am much more concerned about what people I bring into my home. People have much more of an ability to disturb your peace than objects do, and humans carry all kinds of energies that can be disruptive or even demonic.

You are absolutely correct. I like your abswer. Yes you are right we should becareful what people we invite inside our home. I had hear from brothers and sister testimonies about people having envy amd all this negative feelings. Even family memebers can be jelly about us.
- +1 y
Right. It is the reason why I honestly do not keep association with too many people in my real life. Not that I want to be a hermit and not even that I don't want to be social, although I am more of an ambivert, but I just tend to be careful about who I get connected with. Some people can seem great in the beginning, but the more you let them in the more they will try to drain you of the goodness they see in you or feel around you, because they don't have much inside their own selves or their own homes. And a lot of people want you to be a follower and start doing the things they do that you know you aren't agreement with. This is a major issue for a lot of Christians, they bend to peer pressure and judgment from the world.
Objects can be bad like you said, but when God is in your heart and your home, those objects have no power over you. But I would most definitely not have anything like a ouija board or tarot cards in my dwelling whatsoever.

+1 yI’m honestly more careful about who i bring in my house. After one guy, i had sleep paralysis twice that year and felt like something was trying to fck me. I immediately started praying and t went away. It was scary that i had a similar feeling last night while otp with my current guy. It felt like something was trying to part my legs. I woke quickly and screamed his name.

Your absolute correct I agree with you. Yes we need also be csrefuk what people we invite over. I believe you. Do you have Ointed oil?
- +1 y
I think my mom does
+1 yAbsolutely as a God fearing Christian you need to have your own copy of the Ten Commandments on slate, a life sized crucifix in your entry way, and a room of your home should be dedicated as a chapel so you can invite God and the Holy Spirit to your home.

Good answer yes you are correct.

the sizes here are troll style exaggeration. obviously not big. not even those "superficial" physical objects.

Absolutely! As a Christian who likes to salvage and repair, I have to make sure whatever I drag home isn’t infested with bugs. 🙂
Anyhoo, I like Halloween decorations and activities as long as they’re G-rated. Anything that crosses the line into the occult, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 metre cattle prod. No religious symbols or statues for me either, particularly that fricken’ Buddha; seems to me that Buddhism is the go-to religion for godless celebrities.

u +1 yYes, we should. And isn't it a bit of a stretch to lump images of the most devoted servants of Christ (the Saints) in with ouija boards and crystals?
126 Reply- +1 y
We sgould only trust in Jesus Christ not saints they can't do nothing for us. I would becareful about saints it opens portals.
- +1 y
They do nothing for us? How is that so?
- +1 y
The bible refers to all believers as "saints". And it never says anything about particular dead saints helping you. Calling on a dead person to help you would be divination, which is a sin.
- +1 y
@SquareWave That sounds incredibly atheistic.
- +1 y
@SquareWave This your statement is absolutely CORRECT!
- +1 y
BCRanger10 When people pray orbeven put alters to saints it bring misery to that person. Saints can't do nothing for us they're dead. Only Jesus Christ can help us.
- +1 y
@alwayreckles93 again, do you know how atheistic that sounds?
And no, I'm sorry but @SquareWave is not correct because that is not the definition of divination. - +1 y
BCRanger10 wow you really need to go to a local Christian chruch and have a Pastor speak to you. You do realize when you bring saint statues inside your house your bringing demons along to.
- +1 y
@alwayreckles93 are you interested to hear my case for what I said?
- +1 y
BCRanger10 Not harming your case just making a point.
- +1 y
@alwayreckles93 Make your case then please. In what way is brining images or statues of Saints into my home bringing demons along?
- +1 y
Because they're dead! And demons enter threw that open door. It opens doors to demons. And Mary is a demon not the real Jesus Mary.
- +1 y
Are they not alive in Christ?
- +1 y
Please provide a verse from the bible that tells believers to pray to Mary or other 'saints'?
Even John from Revelation was told off for almost worshipping at the feet of an angel. The angel told him straight away: Don't do this, I'm a servant just like you - worship God ALONE (Rev 22:8-9). Praying to saints and thanking them like you would with God is a form of worship. - +1 y
@SquareWave Your absolute correct. Thank you for proving us with correct statements.
- +1 y
@SquareWave In what way is requesting prayer "worship"?
- +1 y
BCRanger10 we should only request prayer to Jesus not a statue made of iron or clay.
- +1 y
Whoever said that we're asking a statue or an image to pray for us?
Follow me on this. Is God, as Matthew 22.32 reports, "... not God of the dead, but of the living"? - +1 y
Please provide a verse from the bible that tells believers to pray to anyone except God/Jesus.
- +1 y
@SquareWave Can you tell me where in the Bible it states that all matters of practice and belief are to be explicitly stated in the Bible?
- +1 y
BCRANGER10 A statue made of clay can't save you that's all I have to say.
- +1 y
When, where, and how did I suggest so?
- +1 y
The bible is meant to be God's word and is the foundation for christian belief. For something as important as who you should actually pray to, it should definitely be backed up in the bible.
If someone makes up their own christian beliefs later on, what ground do they stand on if it's not based on the bible?
It's like the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses coming along 1700 years later and making up stuff like Jesus and Satan being brothers, and that Jesus visited America after rising from the dead, and we know all this because God told me in a dream, etc etc. - +1 y
@SquareWave Okay, so where does the Bible say so? On what authority?
- +1 y
Read Salm 115
- +1 y
@alwayreckles93 Done. What's your point?
+1 yMy house has never been more peaceful since I bought my evil doll 🧟♀️ & crystal ball 🔮. I also have on display my oujia board. But I put out a little wooden cross upstairs. And I have olive oil and garlic in my kitchen, which should cancel out most of the evil. Also, I have pictures of people who have passed away but I think only one is of a person who is said to be a ghost 👻. Her name is Olive Thomas. You can google her. She currently haunts a theater.

+1 yYes. Some items could be demonically infested also. Allow noting into the house God would not approve of. Our homes should be a heaven of peace, where God rules.
I also suggest having Christian music playing often and lots of Christian art on the walls. This way we may always have the memory of God and his decrees before us and cultivate an environment that is literally infused with God 24/7/365.10 Reply- 497 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic.
+1 yWithin reason. I am not going to throw out the Chronicles of Narnia because Aslan speaks of the Deep Magic or the Lord of the Rings because of its wizards. I can also differentiate between fantasy and reality, so I have no issue with books of mythology or science fiction.
That said, I'm with Desii. I am more concerned about whom I let in.21 Reply- +1 y
even if doing witchcraft is a sin, that differs from reading about it.
+1 yAlso you should be careful of people, things people give you can have negative energy in it to. Also be careful of eating everybody food and cooking which can also have negative energy in it. I try to be positive.
20 Reply435 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. I don't see how a snake is going to bring demons and evil into your house, it's just an animal. Crystals are just a rock and dream catchers are supposed to protect you. This is just a bunch of naive ignorant nonsense. You really should stop believing everything some idiot tells you or everything some idiot tells you on youtube. You know why some guys go to church? So they can find naive gullible women to con out of their money.
02 Reply- +1 y
My pastors and preachers have told me this.
+1 yits alright if you remember all these items are FAKE and don't do the things people claim they do, crystals have no powers, they aren't from the devil, they are pretty rocks.
dream catchers are wood and string. they have no magic, the indians were just savages and nothing they believed was real.
horror movies are people in costumes, they aren't actually filled with murder only fake blood. (i'm less sure if this one is bad values but that's a question for your priest)
01 Reply- +1 y
Priest? You mean pastor I'm not catholic. Also catholicism doctrines are all wrong. You better get all those objects out of your house unless you what to have problems later.
+1 yThey’re OK, except they should be used for fun/decoration, and not superstitious things. If the Christians believe in no superstitions, fine. Moreover, statues and pictures of prophets are banned in Christianity. If I bring a dream-catcher home as a decoration, that’s fine, as lang as I don’t assume it will catch all the nightmares.
00 ReplyIs Christians paint or sharing the cost of your home, hell not it's no one's biz what you drag in your castle so grab old Satan by the horn and have and have a drink or what ever you want to do it's your place do what you like
00 Reply607 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. What did the snakes ever do to you? Aren't they god's creatures too? Think your taking that Metaphor from Eden a bit far, guess you shouldn't have apples either.
04 Reply- +1 y
Hey I didn't make this up. If you don't believe me go to yourblocal christian church and have a pastor speak to you. Snakes is satan he used the sanke to lie to Eve.
- +1 y
The snake was a Metaphor...
You do know the bible is full of them right?
Snakes are just creatures made by god like every other creature in the bible, they aren't something the devil made or has possession over otherwise riddle me this why wouldn't he just possess all other creatures on earth? Spiders? Cows? Hamsters? Bats? What makes a snake any different?
- +1 y
The snake is the debil so is the dragon. Please go to a christian chruch. In the past I was kust like you I didn't believe in evil or demonic possessions until a Iwent to a christian church and I learn andopen my eyes. Havea talk with a christian pastor.
+1 yI use to have bad nightmares. It was more like night terrors. But hung a dream catcher above my head board and they all went away.
12 Reply- +1 y
As your friend I advice you to pmay christian music demons hate that. And bless ounit Olive oil. Be in constant prayer. Please throw away that dream catcher that opens doorsto demons. Yeah one demon moght go away but a way worst one may come.
- +1 y
I haven't had a bad dream since. No demons in my house. My house has to many ✝️ in it. Its been blessed. One reason it hasn't fallen in on us.
