+1 yWell it's not that simple, when you die no one goes to heaven or he'll directly, everyone rests in thwir grave until the day of judgment where God will rise the dead and take the living, that all depends on your connection with God, we shouldn't sin but people forget God is loving and forgiving, it's something he doesn't want you to do or like but it all depends if you repent for it or if you even accept him into your life and the truth is that if you've accepted him into your life, you'd most likely not be out there on Halloween dressed as a witch so if that person does go to hell it's not for the simple act of dressing like a witch and celebrating Halloween but for living a life of sin without remorse or repentance and for rejecting God and the gift of Jesus sacrifice on the cross, that's because no one is worthy of going to heaven that's the truth, we are all sinners and imperfect and are unworthy of the kingdom of God but Jesus paid that price of our sins, it's why we can repent and it's why he is the savior he saved us from sin with that crucifixion, it's why you can repent for sinning and be forgiven but if you reject God and reject the sacrifice that saves you from your sins then you aren't worthy of going to heaven, if that witches dressed Halloween celebrating person has Jesus in their life then no one but god knows their location and it's hard to say they will just go to hell because it all depends on their connection with god.

@ChicoFromThe305 That is incorrect. When Christians die their soul goes to Heaven right away. Their bodies stay in the grave which will be resurrected on Judgement Day. The unsaved stay in the grave and their souls go to Purgatory. Their bodies will be resurrected on Judgement Day also, but for judgement.

I believe that is incorrect, the physicals bodies stay on earth, their will be no purpose to resurrect the physical bodies if we will get new spiritual bodies in heaven.

Your old bodies will be changed into a body that can stand the glory of Heaven. If your body was the old one it would not be able to be in the spiritual world of the New Earth. No old body could survive the glory of God. Remember, even Moses was unable to look at God's face without perishing. Instead, God allowed him to see His back, but not His face. In your new body you will be able to see God face to face.

John 5:28-29
28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice
29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
"A time is coming" it's written in future tense which means it hasn't happened yet
Revelations 20:5
The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
There's many other verses that point out to the idea that everyone rests in their grave until after the tribulation when God will create a new world and a new heaven, from my own personal understanding of the verses in the bible, I believe no one enters heaven until after judgement and everyone will go through judgement on the same day at the same time which only leaves the idea that no one goes to heaven until the resurrection of the dead that happens in revelations, which is also the part of the bible that speaks about the end of the wicked days and the tribulation and the destruction of the evil and wicked. - +1 y
The body does, the soul does not. It goes to one of two places. Remember the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke?

So they go to heaven before judgment?
- +1 y
The saved do now. In the Old Testament they went to Abraham's bosom.

Do they not get judged? Hm I don't know about that

+1 yIsiah 45:7 KJV! There is but ONE Sentience who gets to sit in judgement of your eternal disposition; DON'T buy into intermediate religious liturgy 'manuals'.
The CREATOR, whom 'owns' ALL life... corporeal and/or etheric... amuses itself generating ultimately-meaningless potential conflicts, not unlike a child playing "what if" with little green army men before calling them 'home' ... back into the Creator's box.
"WE" exist SOLELY at... and FOR... the Creator's amusement~ ANYTHING GOD can 'make' , GOD can unmake: "Let there BE..." (divine 'FIAT')02 Reply- +1 y

All of this doesn’t even answer the question. Isaiah 45:7 just says “I form light and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Which still doesn’t answer this question. Please take your nonsensical religious babble elsewhere if you’re not even going to answer the question asked.
+1 yYes, it's a known fact, and you do not pass go or collect $200... so it's best that you be buried with pennies on your eyes so you can pay the ferryman so you can go to the cool part of hell with the serial killets and such instead of the lame part with the lawyers and bad accountants...
Unless you're the type who gives Bibles or toothbrushes to kids instead of candy and you die by getting hit in the head by an egg from the resulting egging... in which case you go directly to a special place in hell reserved for child molesters and people who talk in the theatre.

+1 yNot if you die with a piece of candy in your hand. Saint Peter is known for having a sweet tooth, and he accepts candy as payment for entry to Heaven, no matter how you're dressed. That's why giving out candy is so important on this night.

So is everyone naked or do they give you like an orange jumpsuit or something?
+1 yThe short answer is no.
Personally, I honestly don’t believe that what you’re wearing has any influence on if you go to Heaven or Hell. It’s the type of person you’ve been, etc. Celebrating/dressing for Halloween doesn’t make a different.20 Reply648 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Second it's the actitude that is the problem. Why should a good christian wear something that is in opposition to God on any day? A non-good christian won't go to heaven anyway.00 Reply505 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. No. Only Puritanical Protestants believe that crap.
00 Reply435 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Nobody knows what happens after we die because they are not dead yet. Anybody who thinks they know is a fool.
00 ReplyNope. You go into limbo in the space between heaven and hell. As you are only playing the part, hell doesn't want you and your not dressed for heaven.
