I’m not Muslim but in the Christian bible, it says your chances of going to heaven are higher if your not exceedingly rich, and it says God measures your charity by the level of effort you put in, not by how much you have to give.

No, not necessarily. It has more to do with what the wealth does to you and how you use it. Don't let it grow on you that you get attached to it and hence, the dunya that you put the Hereafter lower in priority. Also, being stingy with it won't do you good. Serve the community with the health and you'll be greatly rewarded. This reminds me of a wise saying:

'Put the money in your pocket, don't get put in the pocket of money.'

@cherriibly indeed. He was greatly blessed with wealth. Even the companions of the Prophet ﷺ like Uthman رحمه الله‎‎ were very wealthy. Yet he's one of those who is guaranteed Jannah. He is known for his piousness and humility and detachment from this dunya.

nice idea, now lets see action anyone richer than somalians, who believe in janna and zaddak should be arranging food shipments to Somalian chad niger even south sudan. but they are all suffering in poverty, despite the nice words. and the greed of oil rich Muslims is worse than capitalist.
sending money to the government, which is the few rich people not poor, doesn't help the poor people.
