She’s actually a Scientologist. In my opinion, the Hulkster needs to be careful. It looks like she has simply been tasked with taking him to the cleaners and lining the coffers for David Miscavige. She is currently love bombing him in order to get him ripe for the picking.

The tell is that she has not been disconnected from her family or declared a suppressive person. That is a good indication that she is undertaking a mission. And Hulk is a shell of his former self. He is vulnerable.

I hope he comes to his senses before it is too late. Unfortunately, I would say it already is given that they are married now.

I've thought about it but we're saved because of what Jesus did on the cross, not by any ritual. I've heard arguments both ways as far as whether to be baptized again or not and if it should be by total immersion.

That is not Biblical to baptize infants. Christian baptism is the means by which a person makes a public profession of faith and discipleship. In the waters of baptism, a person says, wordlessly, “I confess faith in Christ; Jesus has cleansed my soul from sin, and I now have a new life of sanctification.”

Christian baptism illustrates, in dramatic style, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. At the same time, it also illustrates our death to sin and new life in Christ. As the sinner confesses the Lord Jesus, he dies to sin (Romans 6:11) and is raised to a brand-new life (Colossians 2:12). Being submerged in the water represents death to sin, and emerging from the water represents the cleansed, holy life that follows salvation. Romans 6:4 puts it this way: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

Very simply, baptism is an outward testimony of the inward change in a believer’s life. Christian baptism is an act of obedience to the Lord after salvation; although baptism is closely associated with salvation, it is not a requirement to be saved. The Bible shows in many places that the order of events is 1) a person believes in the Lord Jesus and 2) he is baptized. This sequence is seen in Acts 2:41, “Those who accepted [Peter’s] message were baptized” (see also Acts 16:14–15).
Notice it says "after" salvation. A baby has no ability to accept salvation so it is useless.

@Daniels1982 I agree that infant baptism is not in the bible, that total immersion is the way it was done, and that baptism is not required for salvation. In my own defense, I should add that I made a public declaration for Christ when I was confirmed in front of hundreds of people. One of the reasons I left the Lutheran Church MO Synod is because they focus so much on baptism and communion. To me that sounds too much like Roman Catholicism. As I said previously, we're saved by Jesus, not by rituals. I'm searching for a good biblical church. Thanks for your reply.

@docster That is true, but the Bible does talk about Babiism. Even Jesus was baptized. The Last Supper was what communion was all about and Jesus told His followers to do so when they were in groups as part of their worship. It reminds us of what Christ did for us - His shed blood and broken body.

i got banned for my interpretation of the bible not to do water baptism but that is what the bible said several times. even those who do it taught not needed but i taught the parts not to do it and got banned.

Yep. I was christened as a baby - which means nothing - and in my 20s I decided I chose to be baptised. Never regretted it.

So your major barrier is evidence? I thought that was addressed by countless others, apologetics, etc.. But I know there's always those that can doubt and disprove...
Note the list of people that were is substantial and they aren't all stupid... so must be something right?
You find the evidence inside yourself when you examine yourself emotionally and Christ you read yourself and see how it resonates inside. God is love, ain't' complicated, religion though is a mess. There's a reason for it, ya know?
But Jesus said in essence, not everyone would "get it", so no problemo, took me long time to figure out.

I require evidence to accept any proposition. I'm certainly not going to waste the time and resources I have on an unsupported fantasy. "You find the evidence inside yourself" -- I looked there, and like many people, I found nothing. I live in Seattle. None of my friends and few of my colleagues are religious. Jesus said? No one knows what Jesus said. The gospels were written decades after Jesus' reported death.

It's resonance, what do you resonate to. God being energy that resonates to what we describe as love. there were many "God's" humans found and explanations of what is beyond. all recorded and passed on, some better than others. Of what I see, it's talking about right brain "emotion", not left brain.
there is free will... in a world where fear rules, it leads to selfishness...
its all out there for you to seek and find.

Speaking as you do id ask deeper questions from your own life experiences… that is what is in charge … and to overcome…

Interesting, I didn't know they existed then. At 10... you'd hae a strong emotional reason to leave... which would now be an emotional barrier, right? e. g... you have a dis-belief because you didn't' get something you wanted or it felt bad. Even Jesus said not everyone was his, so I have no issue. But generally speaking, when I find such person, they remain with some issues that need resolved... emotionally. If they are doing well without, so be it. It's your life path, not mine.

It wasn't the least bit emotional because I didn't have abusive parents. My mother attended church, my father was a lifelong skeptic. As a child, it was just another thing that the adults around me believed that I decided was unsupported by the evidence. I was a precocious independent-minded child and was used to being the smartest person in the room. Sounds arrogant but where I grew up it was almost always the case.
