I've read about Wicca and attended classes where I tried to feel the power of different stones and plants.
I attended a few Wiccan rituals. It all seemed very benign. They were about love, nothing Satanic or malevolent. They focus on the Earth's gifts, including the four elements - air, water, earth and fire. The opening and closing ceremonies thank the six directions - north, east, south, west, up and down.
I like the idea. It's similar to the beliefs of certain indigenous people with their reverence for nature and connection to all beings from plants to animals. They call them their relatives.
I, personally, couldn't get into the rituals, though. Some of the stuff seemed a bit make-believe like religion.
I never met anyone who tried to cast spells.
My religion is respect, reverence, gratitude, love and awe for all creation. I do sometimes talk to the sky, water, plants, trees and animals to encourage their health and happiness, and to share my gratitude for their gifts. I've seen experiments in which plants and even water are effected by positive and negative emotions. Everything has spirit and perception. I think the universe is alive, but I don't believe in gods.
I have participated in Native American rituals, too. Again, they are all about reverence and gratitude toward nature.
I also like homeopathic and Ayurvedic medicine a lot. Knowledge of the properties of plants has been systematically undermined for profit by allopathic medicine that steals, patents, and tries to copy the gifts of the Earth that were already known to indigenous people.
And it's possible that crystals have beneficial properties, too.
The Earth is a pharmacopia.

Witches are magical beings. They don't learn magic. They learn how to use the power of the elements they were granted during the ritual. They learn how to use the power of Mother Nature. In most cases, they don't need to voice what they do. The power they were granted is part of them, so there is no need to "cast spells". Spells are needed mainly for rituals because the way witches' combined powers are used there requires a frame to control them.
I don't like the word witchcraft. Because of this word, many witches lost their magical souls and died forever.
Witches don't exist and if you don't stop asking question about Witches I will lay a curse on you

Yeah when I was a kid we copied some stuff from the 'The craft' movie. We even poked our fingers and put our blood in juice and drank it lol. Kind of nasty, but as a kid it seemed cool and luckily none of us had aids or something lol.

I’ve dated a couple of girls that were pagan, although one was heading towards Shamanism.
My mother is wiccan, so while growing up i looked into it to understand wiccan spells and understanding of the supernatural. it's fun research and I don't regret it.
It is indistinguishable from any other religion, to me. Although, Wiccans do tend to be much better people than most of the other religions, and that counts for something.
I am Pagan and know a little about the Craft. There are two basic forms. Gardnerian and Alexandran. Hope I spelt them right... it's been a long time! 🤣🤣🤣
