I had a friend at my old job that might be Muslim. He did not talk to me outside of work cause he was afraid it would lead to job dismissal due to conflict of interest lawsuits but I still think about him and want the best for him.

Currently no muslins around me and yes im fasting because is a good opportunity ti do so. Christians fast too… or should.
See my post… it isn't hust fasting. Muslims got this right in a lot of ways.
Most americans should fast because they are pathetic physical, spiritual, and emotional specimens.

i wonder how many of the 1 billion muslims really believe in islam and how many say that they muslim due to threats or bullying and due to fear?

My grandpa is Muslim, even though I'm Christian lol. He's fasting and going to the mosque everyday and celebrating

No, he's not blood related but he's still my grandpa. I celebrate mostly just Christian holidays, and he mostly Muslim, but occasionally he also celebrates Christian ones too

No but I have dealt with Muslims that observe it. I always make sure they have space for their prayers and a open location. If they are there long enough they can eat something I make sure they have some food

In Islamic belief, the wisdom of fasting is to remember hunger for a certain period of time, to enable the person to put himself in the place of the hungry and poor (empathy) and to be thankful. For example, health etc. Muslims who cannot fast for any reason must cover the food and drink expenses of a poor person to compensate for this.

@turk55 I don't think you'll find any wisdom from fasting, but sharing some food with the poor and needy could is a kind gesture. You should probably go with option B.
