Seattle is the least religious (most atheist) city in the US and also has the 10th lowest obesity rate (23%) among 52 US metropolitan areas. Birmingham, Alabama, one of the most religious cities in the US, has the third highest obesity rate (66%).

Religious belief is negatively correlated with intelligence. The cities with the highest GDP are the least religious. I work in buildings full of people in the top 2% of intelligence and almost none are religious.

@slatyb religion has nothing to do with money or intelligence. Osama bin laden was a billionare who spent his life we all know how. Many smart people are religious. Many famous innovators are jewish. Religion is like being given a name when u r child u just accept it regardless of how smart or rich u r. It works on a different level.
