Where are the most religious and least religious places in America?

In my opinion, the most religious state is Texas and the least religious state is California. what do you think?

i've lived in the capitol of tx my entire life. i cut off catholicism in my early years. my dad punched me in the face for doing so. and i went through school learning science and none of those people were religious. and outside of college through side jobs those people claimed they were religious but they didn't go to church. i take it they were more spiritual or had a belief. i don't see that as religious.

so, when someone checks a box on a piece of paper or online survey, don't expect that to be accurate or representative of the population.

Seattle is the least religious city. The deep south is the most religious. The west coast and the northeast are the least religious. Cities are less religious than rural areas.

Mississippi and Alabama are more religious than Texas. The least religious state is Maine

I think it might be Georgia or Mississippi for most religious and possibly Cali for the least
