u Why did Jesus come to earth? Why did He take on human flesh and live as one of us?
I don't care if you believe in Him or not, if you think He's real, fictitious, or a ripoff from other religions. What I'm asking is, based on what you have read or know of the Bible, what was Jesus' reason for being here?
Repentance. If you look at God throughout the Old Testament, He's pretty clearly unworthy of worship. At best, He's petty:
-retroactively claiming to be the sole creator of the world.
-demanding unceasing praise for not killing people.
-punishing Job to ensure the praise he gives is entirely unearned.
Sometimes, He's outright evil:
-repeatedly twisting the heart of the Pharaoh to prevent his releasing the Hebrews, then punishing people who had nothing to do with his decisions, culminating in the murder of hundreds if not thousands of innocent children.
-instructing his followers to kill every living thing in the lands they conquer.
-being willing to kill righteous people just because the majority of a city was wicked, which kind of makes you wonder about how many good people died in the Noahic flood.
And sometimes, as in the case of confronting the celebrating proto-Israelites (and angels!) dancing in celebration as the pursuing Egyptians were drowned, He seems outright schizophrenic, asking them "Why are you celebrating? Those were my children, too!". Sadly, the records don't record anyone asking Him "Well then, why didn't you intervene to stop them from chasing us, dumbass?"; much suffering might have been avoided if they had.
Things get a little better once Israel is established, but not much. Jesus represented a great change, but not, as many think, only on Humanity's side. The book of Malachi (the last of the eighteen prophetic books that end the Old Testament) is all about how the Jews have "lost their love for God", and I have to think that after giving the message, God starting wondering why Himself, and went into contemplation for a time.
The messages of Jesus bear a striking similarity to those of Kahlil Gibran- not just in content (I mean, duh), but in delivery: the Word is a hopeful one, but not a peaceful one. It's just as vehement as before, and just as forceful and important, but it's not the rantings of a perpetually pissed-off godhead with a superiority complex; it's one who's determined to actually SHOW His love, rather than simply demanding praise for it. So too is it one who will show His power: Jesus took human form, went through human life, and died a human (and rather nasty, though far from the worst we've got) death- then bounced back two days later. In short, Jesus came to finally put some divine skin in the game, and prove He actually backs up what He says.
It's also why He places so much emphasis on forgiveness- it's not just from human to human, but from human to God. If a human king, with all his human limits and failings, treated you the way God treated the Hebrews, he'd be overthrown and fed to rabid dogs. God does NOT have human limits, and prior to the Incarnation, showed "love" only in refraining from destroying His followers.
If nothing is outside the power of God, then that includes sinning against humanity- and there's no lack of evidence of THAT. And when God saw that, He came down to make things right; to show that He, too, could suffer and seek forgiveness- and that if we chose, we could grant it, and move on together.
You must understand that the entire word of god is a representation of how we must live. Things such as going and killing every living thing when you're taking land represents ridding yourself of sin. You must go through the battle of leaving no sin behind. I've seen this done before, the people lived (and many are still living) sinless lives. And when the lord calls them home, they won't be seeing God the father and God the son and The holy spirit. They will be seeing the one true God of the heavens and the earth, JEHOVAH GOD himself.
He didn't create us in sin, he created us in free choice. We are not living to sin and ask for forgiveness, but we are living to live a life of no sin, which is only possible through God's divine laws, his ten commandments.

Actually we were. As children, we have the tendency to sin, but we have not made it our own. As we grow older, we do those things on purpose and start to make the sins our own. That's why children are so much happier than adults ar bc they're not bogged down with sin. But as an adult starts to attain No Sin, they then are child like, yet they're mature as an adult who has truth and wisdom to live life.

God have business being in everything. Everything in this life has a correspondence to things in heaven. For example, you're mad right? It's because you want to teach but you have not yet been taught. I don't fully understand everything, but I do know this.
1 John 5:3 says- For this is the LOVE of God that WE keep his COMMANDMENTS and his commandments are not grievous.
Matthew 5:48 says- Be ye therefore PERFECT as your father in heaven is PERFECT
Matthew 19:16&17 says- And behold, one came and said unto him, what good thing shall I do to inherit eternal life? And he said unto him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God But thou if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
These are things the Lord has taught, showing we can be perfect by keeping his commandments, which also means NO SIN.
Sir, get your facts straight before you come at me sideways. Regarding God, I know MUCH MORE than you. We were given free will and free choice, and I want you to see that God loves you so much that he wants you to know the truth about him.

Lack of sin very explicitly doesn't mean blindly following the commands of God; look at Abraham telling God off about murdering innocent people. Look at Peter being clearly told that Kosher laws don't apply. Look at JESUS HIMSELF confirming that "to love God with all your heart, with all your understanding, and with all your strength is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices".
You don't get to have it both ways. Let the rhetoric go; you won't find God there.
Well, we should've been the creator if Jehovah God, who is Jesus Christ wanted our opinion on how to save us from our sins. Jesus came to the earth to fulfill his purpose. His purpose was to come to earth so He could give us eternal life! The Book of Matthew is defined as "The Fulfillment of Jesus Christ", the book of Mark as "The Mission of Christ", the book of Luke is defined as "The Story of Jesus Christ" and the book of John as "The Purpose of Christ ". In Matthew 10:34 the Bible says "Think not that I am come to bring peace on earth: I am not come to send peace, but a sword". As he explains in the verses after, he has come to bring salvation to all humanity. He says that as he did come to do that, and people choose to believe on him, there will be division. The division will be between family and friends... and so on. The reason there will be division is because the way to heaven has been made simple, and as the truth is believe by someone, their family or friends may not believe the same. The gospel of Christ is much different than what most people believe. The Lord wants everyone to be saved, but sadly some will never accept his free gift of salvation. Salvation is easy to receive. It is easy to get to heaven and unfortunately most people make it seem like it's difficult. The true gospel of Christ is you must believe that Jesus Christ and what he did (does to pay for our sins) was enough to get us into heaven. There is not one good thing we can do to earn our way to heaven. Most people or religions though, believe that you must DO to get to heaven. They believe there is a long list of things you must DO and can't DO. But no! That isn't salvation, that just pushes people away as they feel they will never be good enough. It causes people to resent God thinking, why would such a God make salvation so difficult, he knows were sinners, so why does he expect us to be perfect to get to heaven. The gospel that is preached by most people, the DO "gospel" is not a reason to have hope. It gives nobody hope whatsoever. If you really thought, I have to be good to get to heaven, and if I mess up I have to repent, change my bad behavior or I'm going to hell. Would you have hope? Would you truly be at peace? Could you say, I know my Savior is taking me to heaven when I die? Can you say, I know where I am going when I pass? No, I have never (other than people who are high minded, met a person who had hope from believing in that kind of "gospel". This "gospel" gives nobody hope, but instead makes God sound like an angry God up in heaven accepting nothing but the good we can't even do to get to Heaven. If our parents were like this, they didn't love us because we messed up and the moment we messed up they kicked us out of the family, and then expected us to do right to be welcomed back home, would you feel very loved? Probably not. That is what Jesus meant when he said he is come not to bring peace... he meant that there are people who will teach you have to DO these things to get to heaven, and if you don't believe that, than you are wicked. But that's such a hopeless "Gospel". That is why God is Soo good, and he has made salvation Soo easy for us. He loves us so much, that he sent his one and only son to come to earth, to be beaten and mocked for us, so that we could have eternal life. I'll explain what the true Gospel really is. In Romans 3:10 it says "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Then in Romans 3:23 it says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;" these verses are saying that nobody is perfect. We all have sinned, wether we like it or not, were sinners. The moment we committed our first sin, we were a sinner. Now, in Romans 6:23 it says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". Focusing on the first part where it says "For the wages of sin is death..." This verse is saying that a wage is a payment, so when you go to work, you get a wage=payment. It's saying that our payment for sinning is death. Now it's not talking about a physical death, it's talking about a spiritual death. In Revelation 21:8 the Bible gives us a list of all the sins that have us condemned to hell. And that is every sin. It lists liar. The moment we told our first lie or commited our first sin, we were condemned to eternal death. That death isn't a physical it's a spiritual. Which is h*ll. But do you think God wants to send us to hell? Nope, he doesn't. That is why back to Romans 6:23 it says "For the wages of sin is death...(Because we sin we are condemned, that would be our wage for sinning, but God doesn't want to send us to h*ll). Now the rest of the verse says "BUT the GIFT of GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD". So this is saying that God is offering us a gift and that gift is life in heaven for forever. If someone were to give you something for example we'll use a car, if someone said I want to give you a brand new car, but you have to wash my car. Would that be a gift? No, it wouldn't. If they said I will give you this brand new car, but you have to give me a dollar... that is still not a gift. While it is a really wond deal, it is in no way a gift. A gift is something given to you with nothing expected in return. The meaning: a thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present. So, you see a gift is something that is given without anything expected in return. If something is expected it's not a gift. So, God is offering us a gift, and so he is expecting NOTHING in return. Then the verse says "the gift of God is Eternal life" so... that gift he is offering us is life in heaven for forever. It is an eternal gift. If he were to tell us we can go to heaven, but then expect us to behave, or follow a list of rules to get to heaven, is that really a gift? No, it's not. So, then it says that gift is Eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Meaning, God is offering us the gift of eternal life, and that it is a gift through Jesus. In Romans 5:8 the Bible says "But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." This is saying that God loved us so much that he sent his one and only son to die for us. In John 3:16 the Bible says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever Believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." He gave his one and only son so that we could have a way to heaven. Because we aren't perfect, we cannot get to heaven. In order to go to heaven, you must be perfect, and we aren't. We are sinners and we will never be perfect, and God knew that. That is why he gave us a way. That way is through his perfect son Jesus. If you got in trouble for something, and had a punishment you are guilty. Say you had to go to jail for a bit, but you tried to offer them money or a really expensive car or something else in stead. Do you think they'd accept that? No, they wouldn't. Well, it's the same with God. We deserve to go to h*ll. But God doesn't want to send us there, and so he made a way so that we didn't have to go. Jesus came to take our place upon himself. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, he lived a sinless perfect life, he was God in the flesh (the Trinity), he healed many people and did many miracles. Because he was so perfect and holy, people hated him for that. So he was crucified, he was beaten and spit on, wounded, mocked, had the crown of thrones put in his head. Then nailed to the cross. He was tortured for hours, bruised to give us life. He took every sin you and I and anyone has ever done upon himself as if he did it. He became that sacrifice we needed so desperately to get to heaven. He was so perfect and holy, the only one who could make the way for us to get to heaven. And he did that for you and me and everyone who believes that, so that we could be saved. He was despised and rejected, oppressed, so that we can be loved and accepted and go to heaven. What a wonderful savior Jesus really is!! You see, he did that because he loves us. All we have to do to get to heaven is believe that he did that for us, that we are sinners that cannot get to heaven in our own, we need to accept Jesus' sacrifice for us. You don't have to do anything for a gift, but you always do have to accept it. You don't have to accept it with a grateful heart, but you do need to just accept it and take it. When I say you don't have to accept it with a grateful heart, or show your thankful for it, that is because we can accept the gift of heaven, and we can go out and live a life of sin, not serve God. Pay no attention to him, and still we have that gift. You can accept a gift from someone and throw it away or leave it in the floor, let it become damaged. We can do the same with the gift God is offering us. We will forever get to go to heaven once we believe, because again. That gift of salvation is an everlasting gift. There is nothing we can do to lose that gift. We can accept the gift of salvation and then go out and live a horrible life of sin and still get to go to heaven...
We can act like we aren't thankful for the gift of salvation by our actions. But that doesn't ever mean we won't get to go to heaven. In Hebrews the Bible talks about how once we believe we are adopted into God's family. So if you were to adopt a kid, it would be yours right? If they lived a life against your rules and how you would like for them to live... will they ever stop being your child? No, they'll continue to be yours, but you may punish them because you love them and want them to do right, right? Our parents, there is nothing we can ever do to stop being there's.
It doesn't matter if we get mad at them and tell them we hate them and want nothing to do with them... we will still be their child. Our parents may punish us because they want to teach us. It's the same with God, once you believe he was enough to pay for your sins, then you become his child. All you have to do is believe that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless perfect life, was God in the flesh, was crucified and died for our sins (Jesus could have stopped his crucifixion, he could have stopped it all, but he didn't. He had the power to stop them from torturing him, but you know what is incredibly amazing? He never stopped any of it. He endured the pain, the mocking, and beating. He endured it all.
Not only that, in the Bible it says "As Jonas was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so shall the son of Man be in the heart of the earth." Jesus came to pay for our sins, and he did exactly that. Our payment for sinning is h*ll, and so that means since Jesus was paying for our sins, he went to h*ll for those three days and three nights he is as dead. It is a very hard thing to accept that he really went through all that for us. It's so sad. Because of our sin a innocent, righteous man, the Lord of lord and King of kings was wounded and died for us. Then on the third day, he arose from the dead. If there was no reassurection, there's no heaven, if there's no heaven, there's no hope, if there's no hope, we're left feeling empty, feeling bad. All we have to do to get to go to heaven is accept that Jesus was enough to pay for our sins, he died for us, so that we can have eternal life.
Once you believe that, no there is nothing in this world bad enough you could do to go to heaven. Once you believe that, no, you do not have to live for him and do right. Now, should you? Yes. But will you go to h*ll if you don't? No! His blood shed on that cross washes us white the moment we believe and are saved. When we're washed white, all our sins are covered for and that is why we are able to go to heaven. That is why now we are perfect when we get saved and able to get to heaven. Jesus paid for our past, present and future sins, for all of them. Any sin you commit once you believe and are saved, is already covered by the blood of Christ. You don't have to repent to be saved. You don't have to go to church, you don't have to stop sinning. Because Jesus already payed it all for you.
Now, that isn't to say we should just go out and live the most sinful life now just because we're saved. No, you should do right. The Lord gave us the Bible for a reason. The Bible stands for B-basic I- instructions B-before L-leaving E-earth. The Bible tells us all we need to know. Any question you have the answer is in the Bible. The reason God gave us the Bible is so that we can know how to live a good life.

God only wants perfect people in Heaven, just as he is perfect. But none of us are perfect. In Old Testament times the High Priest would use a perfect animal to sacrifice. The blood would be sprinkled on the Mercy Seat on top of the Ark of the Covenant, and would cover up the sins of men for 1 year. So every year this had to be done. God sent Jesus to shed his blood one time, for all men since we couldn't do it ourselves. This is a free gift. But if you won't receive this gift it doesn't do you any good and you will pay for your own sins on Judgement Day. In Roman days a criminal was thrown into jail. On the door post was nailed a list of their crimes and what their sentence was. When they had paid the penalty for their crime they were given this piece of paper so they could show everyone that they had paid the penalty and were free. Across the paper was printed the words "The penalty has been paid." When Jesus shed his blood for us on the cross and as he died he uttered the phrase, "It is finished / the debt has been paid." Now all men can have their sins forgiven, but they need to accept that gift. This is the ONLY reason Jesus became a man and came to earth, not to conquer the Romans and free the slaves, but to free all men from their bondage to sin. All that is required of you is to accept Jesus as your savior, and repent of your sins, and you will be with Him in Heaven for eternity. The alternative is to spend eternity without God, to be cast into the outer darkness. There where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. You will be alone, not with your friends or anyone else, just you. What Heaven is like is a different subject for another time.
He was (brought) born here exclusively for the purpose of God's people. As he stated to the lady with the infant that approached him begging for him to bless her damned baby. He is not God and not once clammed this. The exact opposite is what he constantly stated. To his Father he continually prayed and Praised of the LORD'S Truth. The first man was given the seeds an power over the beasts to eat and breed. Now go and populate the lands. After that he searched for the perfect place to create Eden.. Lucifer was the very foundation of the garden of Eden. The epitomy of perfection in everyway. Adam was created whole with all God's knowledge within. After the first men were already on earth. What was Cane so afraid of outside the walls of Eden? He literally told GOD.. no I won't go. They will know! So if Christ was in heaven when he witnessed Lucifer fall like a bolt ⚡ of lighting? And he is The Alpha and The Omega. The beginning and the end? Yet Adam stated this exact parable thousands of years before Christ. They can't both be right or liers I'd think not. So, they absolutely must 100 percent both be of the one same being's.., Single Spiritual life.. They are the same spiritual Angel. Just in different places in time.. with a different name. Yet both behaviors in each are very similar. You actually think a man like us can raise from the dead after 3 days bled completely out? No.. No.. Hell to the No.. No.. But a Angel of God could. He doesn't need blood or oxygen. He is capable of a complete spiritual form. Sorry so much off subject.. Don't get caught up being taught by others. He came to Earth to save us. To take our place, to take the punishment we deserved for the Bible says the wages of sin is death. But by believing in him we could be saved by grace through faith in him. He became the perfect sacrifice so we can be forgiven of our sins. So when the father looks at us he sees his son and his precious blood covering us. He came to Earth so we could be with him for all eternity if we would just put our faith and him. Romans chapter 10 verse 9 says if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.
Jehovah God made himself into the likeness of a sinful flesh to condemn sin, and to show that a life abiding by his laws is possible. He went through temptation from sin, (much more than we go through.) and conquered it all. This is why he is the Lord, the Savior Jesus Christ.
There is also not a divine trinity. There is three attributes of the Lord. He has the spirit, the essence (or how you feel from him.) and activity. These things are a few of the many things that Jesus came to the earth to do. He did not come to have us saved but fall short of the grace.

Hiding esoteric gold plates for cowboys to find out on the prairie, (or did he come to fight in the crusades?) maybe to hang with Geronimo the Indian, or he might have appeared down in Machu Picchu in Peru with some new world revelations? …didn’t he maybe do carpentry work (or was he a sandal/shoemaker?) …think he was involved with setting up the California missions, or now that I think about it, maybe he was driving that space ship containing souls from a volcano from the planet Kraken? … I think he designed priest confession boxes, …. or, …. maybe he came to deliver the 10 commandments? &/or I think 🤔 he parted the ocean or something? (Not 100% sure, as my religious knowledge base has got some holes in it).
jesus wasn't born with a mission. but upon realizing that his granddad was one of the 12 patriarchs of the jewish tribe (aka davids kingdom) and that by birth right he's entitled to rulership over the jews, he probably decided it would be the best for him to try and fight for that right, which as we all know: the romans had other plans. so yeah. that's all there is to it and by the way that's the reason why Joseph and Mariah lied about "god being the father", cause obviously otherwise Jesus would have been a bastard, losing his right to be a ruler of the jews. and yes i'm calling it a lie cause there's no evidence to the contrary. i do not consider "a book that says so" to be "evidence".

After a thorough investigation dismissing anything inadmissible as evidence. And he concluded based on all the documented accounts that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is as established as any event in history.

The reason why Jesus Christ came to the world was in the Old Testament book of Tanakh where there was an expected Messiah. This Messiah came to forgive our sins and took our sins on the cross and said it was finished and surrendered his soul. He was resurrected after 3 days and everyone who followed Jesus Christ had eternal life. So the reason why Jesus Christ came to the world was to explain God's word and forgive our sins and thus we made peace with God, so Jesus Christ is God's plan of salvation.

What is explained and what he personally has told as well was that the ENGINEERS in the films are Giant humanoid alien beings who sent Jesus go earth in a quest to Reform and make Mankind peaceful and change earth.
What happened obviously after the Being they send to earth [Jesus Christ] was crucified by the very humans they are trying to help; the Engineers decided to destroy earth. However this didn't end up happening for reasons explained in the film.

When he came to Earth the first time he came as a humble servant when he comes again he's coming in great power and Glory all will bow down to him every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. I am a God fearing woman and have been saved and a born again Christian since 1978 so you would be hard pressed to even try to change my mind. I want to go to heaven when I die, so that's what I chose for myself. You are choosing where you want to go when you die. That's a pretty serious decision, but it's all about choice and if you want to burn in hell, then that's what will happen to you when you die.
I think you have heard me speak about my boyfriend that died suddenly last September. He didn't plan on dying September 8th, but he did.
And you know what? I am so glad that he made the choice to say the sinner's prayer and get saved. It wasn't something I talked him into either.
He read my bible, the book of John and saw with his own eyes the truth and how to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior.
I am not going to preach to you. But when the love of my life died suddenly the only thing that helps me is knowing he is in heaven now. Because I couldn't deal with his death if I thought he was burning in hell for eternity. So, I live in peace with his death.
Sure, I miss him 💔 more than my words can say, but I can rest my head on my pillow every night and sleep in peace knowing he is with the Lord Jesus Christ.

I got hit hard by covid in 2021 and came close to death. My doctor recommended a new drug they were having good success with so I did do that so he said after 30 days when the drug has had a chance to work then go get the jab. He said natural immunity is a myth. So I did do the drug that they were having success with and I believe it helped. But I did not get the vax. But yet here I am and have not got covid again. So I guess I proved my quack doctor wrong.
