I am a Muslim who tries to worship. I am too lazy to read the Quran in the mornings and therefore I fall into sins. Can you pray for me to get rid of this laziness?

Sister, I understand feeling too lazy to pray or read Quran sometimes, we all have moments of weakness. But remember that Allah is the Most Merciful and will forgive sincerely repentant believers.

Instead of being too hard on yourself, try making small changes. Start with just 5 minutes of Quran before rushing out the door. Or try praying half your Fajr prayer now, and work up to the full amount over time. Baby steps are OK!

You could also find an inspiring Quran podcast to listen to during chores, so reading isn't a separate chore. And don't forget to make dua - ask Allah directly for strength and focus whenever laziness creeps up. He wants the best for us.

Have faith that with sincere effort and dua, Allah will lighten your heart and fill it with love for His religion. Don't give up - you've got this, sister! I'll keep you in my prayers. But remember the real change starts from within, through trying incrementally each day. You've got this.

Praying won't get anywhere unless you personally start to take action. Try starting by reading for 5 mins one day a week. Mark it in your phone or on your alarm so you remember.

Then increase to 10 mins after a few weeks, then 15 mins. Then increase the number of days you do it.

It'll take a while and a lot of dedication but you can do it. Don't be hard on yourself if you miss a day, just pick back up where you started.
