What do you think of this idea I read in my Ikagai book in English?

I read that sometimes the strategy for doing something very well is totally different from the strategy for doing something marginally well.

The Christian bible also says not to take on more than what you can handle. The Jewish bible teaches the same idea, that somebody who makes too many commitments ends up succumbing to lawsuits or accusations of mediocre work output in the commitments that they have made

I had two dreams telling me not to take on more than what I can handle. My cousin said her husband told her in private that sometimes I take on more than I can manage. Not sure why he did not say that to my face as I do not consider that insulting to say to somebody in your family, or extended family.
