Do you think beauty is a paradox or is it just me that thinks that?

Some people are clearly very good looking but it's a sin to admire somebody's beauty. So why would God create beauty if we are not supposed to notice it? Is it just a test for us? Like all the other things on earth that test our character?

Beauty is a reflection of health. It comes from having good genes and access to good food and health care as you grow up. We are attracted to beautiful people because we want those healthy things for our kids.

I am not religious in the slightest but would have thought that it’s the objectification and lust over beauty that would be sinful not the admiration or appreciation of it. I do agree that beauty could be seen in our society is paradoxical though , as an example feminine beauty is both validating and belittling in todays social media culture but not in the biblical sense , beauty can be seen in everything if it were truly gods creation and therefore to see is it is to appreciate it.
