Here is an example of Omnipotence paradox:

- If God could create something he could not lift, then he would not be omnipotent (because he can't lift it).
- If God was able to lift the stone then that would mean he was unable to create something he could not lift, leading to the same result.

Therefore, logically speaking, it's impossible to be omnipotent.
Also, you don't need religion to know morality & ethnics, most of the wars and violence were caused by religion.
Any animal would think (if capable) that "god" looks like their species, because it's in the nature of all lifeforms to think of "higher life form" that's looks like them - It's a logical assumption.
Epicurus was explaining what "god" can or can't, compared to "him", humans are a lower life form, it's not unusual for humans to choose unwisely.

Don't bother with labels like "atheist" or "theist" or "deist". Be an "it's_irrelevantist". Your behavior should be driven by the fundamental instincts of human existence: Take action to maximize the probability of survival for your species.

One of the reasons I advocate "irrelevantism", as I call it, is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to PROVE OR DISPROVE the EXISTENCE OR NONEXISTENCE of DEITIES (or anything "supernatural"). If something is supernatural, than it can't interact with anything in the natural world because, if it could, then it isn't supernatural at all, but is subject to the laws of physics (that is, the laws of nature). Since we can only observe or experiment with what exists in the natural world, we can't observe or experiment with what is supernatural. Thus, we can't make any assertions about anything, one way or the other, about the supernatural.
