1. Acts 5
Peter gives poison to Ananias: Peter then asks him if he donated all of the money from the sale of his land. Peter had Spies and knew that he didn't. Ananias told him, yes. So peter did not give him the antidote. Before he died, he told him cryptically, "The feet of the people who will bury your husband are by the door." And "young men" came to wrap up Ananias and bury him. 3 hours later Peter calls in Ananias wife. She is unaware of what has happened. He asks her about the money. And she "lies" too. Peter repeats the same phrase to her and she dies. (The Greek word used specifically says her heart stopped. He gave her a poison that caused cardiac arrest). Peter claims "the spirit" did this shit.
2. Mark 14
Jesus is at the park at night with his disciples. Judas comes with the police armed with swords and clubs. Jesus is wearing some kind of cloak or disguise that causes him to blend in with everyone else. So Judas has to greet Jesus to point him out to the police. At that point the police come forth to arrest him. Jesus says "why do you come out against me like I am a human trafficker?" Mark says a young boy covered in a towel runs away naked at that point. They arrest Jesus. Is it possible Jesus and the gang were going to sacrifice the boy? In an attempt to fulfill the prophecy of the binding of the child / Isaac, before the lamb takes its place? But Judas couldn't believe what he was hearing so he reported them, and for reporting him for committing a crime, he got a reward?

Typical atheist.
Make up something bad and lie it is christian.
Acts chapter 5 does not even have the word poison! Anywhere in the chapter! Not "Peter gives poison" to anybody.
Oh you think it wasn't poison it was a miracle
You lied "acts 5 said it" but that was not the story.
Would you lie that "harry potter was ten feet tall as book said"?
whats more likely, if the story is true, the guy miraculously died bcause a holy forgiving loving god that can multiply fish and give you free money from a fishes mouth killed him, or is it more likely peter had the guy killed in some way because its all nonsense
So you call the Holy Spirit poison and a spy. Cut the bullshit Bible butcher, they lied to God and were smited.
Enjoy this one shit stack
Matthew 12:31-32
31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Where did it say he blasphemed the holy Spirit? it says he sold *his* land, because communists have always hated land owners, and when Peter found out he didn't donate *all* of the money (he must have donated enough to not be suspicious) Peter had him killed. don't you see how twisted that is
You're the one committing blasphemy against the Spirit by calling the Spirit a spy and poison dipshit.
right. so the "holy" spirit kills people for keeping some money for themselves. great lotic
logic
No they were judged by God for the sin of hypocrisy within the church. Both claimed to be professed Christians and were part of a larger group of Christians that had committed to help those in need. They understood the law of God, yet they choose to disobey and to conspire against the church for personal gain. Then when confronted about their skulduggery, they directly lied to the Holy Spirit temping justice to be handed down. They were questioned and given multiple opportunities to tell the truth and receive mercy. The Holy Spirit was identified as the Spirit of the Lord which reminded them that they not only are lying to the Holy Spirit but to the risen and exalted Christ. Yet they thought they could lie their way out of their situation and con God. Clearly they were wrong.
James 3:1
3 Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
The closer you are to God and the more you understand, the more harshly you are judged. They were very close to God and knew full and well what they were doing, yet arrogantly thought they wouldn't be punished for their sin. You have to have a special kind of hubris to think you can out smart and manipulate God.
So as I showed you in Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus was willing to ignore the initial lie and to forgive them for their transgressions, thus they were asked how could they do this, why did they do this, what made them do this, and even after multiple attempts to allow them to repent they rejected Jesus so they were left with the judgement of the Holly Spirit. They could have easily got out of it, if they were just honest about it and did the right thing. Their actions showed that they really did not believe.
so God needs to murder people for keeping money for themselves? I guess he can multiply fish but not money. some god
murdering someone for lying to you after you ask them for all their money street thug is even worse than just murdering them
I know you're obsessed with the money... greed consumes you, but the story it's not about the money...
If they said, no those are not all the proceeds of the sale, I kept half for our needs and the other half I wish to give in support of the church then they would have been completely fine. Rather than be truthful they lied about it. They voluntarily committed to sharing what they have, to devote themselves to prayer and stay committed to the apostles in unity with the community to become part of a priesthood that represents God, yet intentionally conspired to deceive the community and bring sin into the church to corrupt it and repeated lied as part of their deception directly to God. This shows they were non-believers that were trying to bring corruption into the church. As I said, they were punished for hypocrisy. They had no intention of doing good by God, they had evil in their hearts and as such got dead real quick.
1 Peter 2:1
Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
they lied because the demon Peter was taking EVERYONEs money.
1. early Christians were antigovernment communists, probably using drugs to sedate themselves and have visions (1 Corinthians 15:24-28, 2 Corinthians 12:2, Galatians 1:12)
2. They used terrorism, just as later christians did, and just as muslims did, to spread their religion. Killing Ananias was a beneficial story (even if it didn't happen) because it spread fear throughout the community, and fear is how "sheep" are controlled.
You're using the old tactic of moralizing, theologizing, justifying, instead of looking at what happened plainly, cutting through the bullshit, and letting your own mind make a sound judgement. Perhaps you're a sheep too, destined to be mind controlled by nothing other than fear.
So you're going to run away from the first point and try to misdirect to a new subject and slander Peter even though you have nothing to prove your point? What a coward. If you can't stay on topic and admit when you are wrong, there's no need to bring up more topics. You'll just run away from those as well.
the only coward here is you for defending reprehensible stories because you're afraid of going to hell
Why would I be afraid of going to hell? I know God has my back.
Ok you're either disingenuous or not thinking smart enough to understand you are in fear of a God you've only ever heard about from people... oddly... in power... because of this God... sending you to hell
1) I have an IQ of 158, so you'll just come to grips with the fact that I'm probably close to 4 standard deviations above your IQ. For all intensive purposes you sound severely mentally retarded by my standards, but I'm trying to be patient with you.
2) I've never been all that religious. Ritual and pageantry isn't really my calling, but I do understand a number of religions and philosophies. That's the thing about us geniuses, we tend to have a great depth of knowledge in many different fields.
3) Even though I'm not strongly devout when I compare myself to many others who have worshiped their entire life, I have had religious dreams that can only be interpreted as Judeo-Christian in meaning. Being that they refer to end times (4 corners of the Earth) and I'm from the House of Israel, I kind of have an obligation to pay attention to them. Even if I don't personally believe that I'd be picked for the task based on merrit, Revelation 7:3 does state:
"Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel"
So when I receive a vision of the 4 corners of the Earth after not studying any religion for maybe 20 years and all the sudden out of no were on a normal night a figure of light and peace is standing behind me telling that I can't help those who will be destroyed it kind of makes me revisit and study religion to ask what I'm suppose to understand based on these dreams. Typically I don't spend time studying religion nor do I dream about religion. It's ordinary for that to occur.
Total fantast
fantasy
Well clearly you can''t be helped right? So what's wrong about the message? It seems pretty accurate.
Yes acts 5 and mark 14 are from the Bible. Have you learned about Jesus?
Wdym have I learned about Jesus
I mean you shared about the Bible. Have you learned about Jesus and who was talked about in the Bible?
What a mysterious question
You could have answered it honestly by saying yes or no. Instead you chose to not be good faith
lmao always the same tactics with Christians. damned if you do damned if you don't. how about get off my thread
How about not ask troll anon questions
right another christian tactic. everything you don't like is trolling. just leave
Or it’s not tactics.
it is a tactic. the third most common tactic is taking someone aside into a backroom to talk to them. churches must control what people hear to control what they think
My paster loves me tho. So when he takes me in the back room it’s special
wow someone loves you. and you attribute that to a mystical spirit inside him. fool
He said that he loves me. Did I tell you what I attribute it to?
why haven't you sold everything you own and given the proceeds to him
My preacher didn’t ask me to
let's say he did and you didn't give him everything, after he pressured you to, and then pulled a gun out and shot you in the head. would he be wrong
He’s not wrong, and he can kill me
Did you want me to die sir?
ridiculous question. ridiculous answer. from a guy who talks about good faith
You chose not to act in good faith with me. Did you want me to be honest?
yeah is it right for someone to murder you because you didn't give them what they demanded
That’s true. And as a preacher he did demand everything. So killing me is justified. Ty for being wiser than I am.
wtf? you're insane
Ya I likely am
